So the main benefit of timecode instead of sending a midi note to start a timeline is that it can be really precise and can pop around to different parts of the songs if wanted? And are you saying that timecode is coming out of the headphone jack?? I'm new to TC

I know a lot of people who use the midi note, I like the timecode because it’s very fast and I usually already have timecode for lights and content anyways. I can also record lyrics to timecode on the fly which is handy.
For the hotel programing it was coming out of my headphone jack, for the show it was an output from the playaudio12

Great video! I’ve followed all the steps, but for some reason the light never turns green once I run timecode. Is there any reason why pro presenter isn’t noticing the timecode?
I’ve tested my timecode output with another device, and the interface is successfully outputting the timecode.
Is there some time of setting to allow pro presenter to accept the timecode?
(I’ve already selected the proper interface to receive timecode from, just doesn’t seem to read it)

Make sure your frame rate in ProPresenter matches the files. I’ve noticed sometime PP sees 30fps as 29.97fps. Also if timecode is too loud to where it clips the input then it will not read.

So your 'bouncing' around the timeline from ableton is that correct. Can you do the same within pro presenter. So if the band decides to repeat a chorus but its not set in the timeline, can I click the first slide of the chorus in pro presenter and the timeline will bounce to there... so there is still SOME manual control

I do this from time to time. There are two options but you have to disengage timecode.
You can move the play head to the chorus on the timeline (wouldn’t recommend) or you just fire the slides as you normally would.

Does PP7 Jam timecode for Videos? Can a PP7 video (to broadcast for example) be synced second by second to timecode??

Timecode in ProPresenter is timeline based. Not per clip. So you could create a timeline for the whole show and timecode second by second.

I just realized that Drake and Jordan Blake (IYKYK) look rather similar.
