Tri didn’t have tigerex my first time fighting him I died 3 times then ran out of time 2nd time died 9 times failed lol 3rd was a charm was using the bow I love how aggressive he is dude is amazing! Haven’t got a chance to play the mh on my switch I’m wondering if he’s on there too. Good fight as always canta

Nice to see Tigrex getting a unique walk animation now, instead of copying the generic flying wyvern walk in the Old World games.

@@Oldtypedor Maybe or maybe not (Seregios used the same skeleton as Rathalos but you can barely tell), but regardless, in older games like MH4U and Generations, when a Tigrex (or Nargacuga) wasn't alerted to a hunter's presence it actually did walk on its hind legs, carrying its wingarms off the ground. Just look carefully at MH4U's opening cinematic:

@@Stratelier Oh right, I remember that but couldn't see it's just the wyvern walk. tbh I liked it though, thought it was pretty funny and shows the chill side of such a furious monster. But now think of it guess it really doesn't make sense, why on Earth would it walk with the weaker legs instead of those big ass front arms?

The new attack on IG seems super powerful! It's gonna be a great addition to hunters who want to use aerial attacks but dont want to stay up there. I can see use for it in some vertical based dodges.

Ahh tigrex kun i remember when i first met you and you gave me materials i couldnt even use because you only had 3 default item drops. I thought you could drop every material for your sets but you didnt. I abused my bone katana on you and 25mins of my time killing you every game in that gathering quest only to realize it was a "gathering quest" for popos. At least i learned how to read quest description because of you. So sad that i didnt even know why i failed the quest that time it took me about a day or 2 to realize but ye...

that is such a different playing style of IG, I do alot of airborne attacks and insect dust where as canta spams strong attack(I know its less damage but its fun, pls I get to mount for others )

Why does it feel like my boy tiggy got nerfed? It might just be me, but he seems hell of a lot slower, his charge too. Edit: His roars don't do damage anymore either what the hell?
I'd argue Iceborne Tigrex is faster than it's ever been. There's generally less downtime between his attacks meaning you're more easily punished if you overcommit.
His roar still does damage btw, I just happen to roll through all of them which you could do since MHFU.
@@CantaPerMe Ah, yeah you did roll through his yells didn't you? For whatever reason I just remember him being faster in games like MHFU.
Might feel that way because the animations are made to look more realistic or maybe some are actually slower now I dunno. Either way it doesn't make the fight easier imo, if anything, his moveset is harder to deal with now imo because of the previously mentioned reduced downtime between attacks.

Is it bad I kinda hope G-rank monsters have this much HP in the actual game? I really enjoy actually fighting them instead of ungabunga spamming and killing them in 2 minutes.

the beta have low rank modifier (and u can see it for yorself if you know what to search, beside the 4 blue star clue of course).
mostly stat, skill and other stuff of this beta was made for this beta only, in the final version we will have different stuff. just like the old beta and his nergi with abnormal stat (hp, treshold etcc).

yeah, the slinger is banned because dont have any real move and only pew pew some trash at the monster.
now is used to perform other moves with the weapon, or to control the monster to force him on a stun on a wall. i really hope to see the slinger moves usable on TA run

Tigrex’s old heavy bowgun model is confirmed by a japanese tv spot. I don’t think EVERY monster will get all unique weapons, (because I think it’s a matter of technical restraints, not a design choice) but I do expect them to put a greater effort into the important flagships and mainstays, 1. Because they’re good at listening to feedback, and 2. Because it’s the case in the base game, all of Rathian, Kushala Daora, Teostra, Nergigante, Deviljho, and MOST of Rathalos’ weapons get priority with the unique models.

I think Yian Kut-Ku, Blue Yian Kut-Ku, Yian Garuga, Seregios, Jade Barroth, Steel Uragaan, Savage Deviljho, Brachydios, Zinogre, Stygian Zinogre, Valstrax, Shagaru Magala, Gogmazios, Lao Shan-Lung, and Gore Magala should be added to Iceborne

God Eneru absolutely not, IG just has a good matchup for being mobile and hitting fast
It is balanced since it doesnt have those big openings and blind spots it had in old games (no more head sniping and stuff like that).
Also remember this is the demo,which is probably easier like the other one.
this is a demo, with low rank monster and behavior. and trust me, tigrex is really as it should be and it's not easy at all.
fight him personally is completely another story vs watch canta fight him, he's really unstoppable. well, not for canta anyway lol

What does TA stand for
Time Attack. Basically the Japanese term for "speedrun"
A set of rules for a specific kind of speedrun, tl;dr is no cat, no mantles, no (environmental) traps, basically just you, your weapon and the monster.
