You could lube the upside down "U" curve part of the leaf with a thick lube (thick grease like dielectric grease, XHT-BDZ) or use the "leaf shroud" mod which uses the leftover part of the deskey film to cover up the leaf. It'd definitely help the leaf ticking noise.
I don't have these anymore, but yeah, I think the leaf shroud mod would be the only thing that could truly fix leaves this bad. You gotta hear them in person lol. I have never tried the leaf shroud mod though.
ty for the great vid! 😄 im looking for a good light tactile switch that’s not too loud and idk which to pick. would you recommend these bluberry chiffons over the gateron cap milky browns? or smthng else maybe?
Don't get v1. I can't say anything about v2 as I haven't tried them, but the leaf noise is supposed to be fixed. I don't really like gateron cap switches because of the weird bottom out. I like gateron pro milky browns, but those are just about the lightest tactility you can probably get. A personal favorite of mine are KNC black jackets, but some people consider those medium tactiles, and the sound is very hit or miss. They are pretty quiet for a long pole though. I need to make a video on leobog browns too. Underrated af, but wouldn't fit the "not too loud" category most likely.
I have a green jacket linear video scheduled to upload one of these days. I don't really like the linears overall but the tactiles are very nice. I haven't tried v1.5 linears though so I can't comment on them.
What's your opinion on the g915 tactile
never tried it

Off topic but how do you like the green jackets?
