You’re welcome Howard! Hopefully you feel you can become less stiff over time! I do have some videos on shoulder mobility, but not one specifically dedicated to shoulder ER. I’ll add it to the list!
Grant what's your opinion on PRI and the whole left AIC pattern stuff they preach? Also I think you should include the effects of shallow/chest breathing in your videos. Of you are anxious and/or stressed you might slip into an altered breathing pattern causing you to breathe with your scalenes, SCM, and pec muscles. If this is the cause you need to fix this first or you're rolling that ball forever.
Hey mate! I haven’t seen much of the PRI stuff to be fair. At the end of the day there’s a cause for everything and in theory there should be a way to optimise things, it just depends on where on the timeline people focus. Is it a symptom or is it a cause. Often I think there’s a step or two before many of the approaches that people take. I hear you in regards to shallow breathing! Similarly there’s often a step before shallow breathing ie) stress, poor posture etc but something to keep in mind nonetheless!
This is exactly my problem. Poor posture using my phone. I’m retired. This is exactly what I was just about to do to fix it. Then I got dizziness & vertigo. I went to a chiropractor. He aligned c1 c2 & all down my spine. Still alittle dizzy. Now my back hurts further down my back each day. I think that’s the readjusting of my nervous system & spine. Point is I’m afraid now to do foam roller or la cross ball on upper back for fear of causing extreme vertigo & not being able to get help. I live alone.
How you feel is perfectly reasonable CG. It’s always worth having a responsible professional do it for you and assess whether any exercise is appropriate for you to do at home yourself.
How did you find these tips?! Hope they helped!
My stiffness is from long sessions of surfing on weekends. This information helped 👍

Great tips. With regards to Lacrosse ball joint mobility, how many times a week do you recommend.
It depends on the person and how restricted and tender it may be. But it can be performed daily with the odd rest day in between.
Which country are you based in? You're going to be big one day very informative and simple videos.
Appreciate that mate! I’m based Australia! 🇦🇺

@@YourWellnessNerd I had bppv. Right ear crystals came loose. PT fixed it in one session. Now I can safely foam roll my back.
