Very helpful guys, thank you so much.
I took 2 years of on2 salsa classes and go to parties twice to three times a month since may 2017 but I have a problem keeping my balance while wearing high heels salsa shoes. Any tips to get used to them ?!
    Thanks in advance :)
    Greetings from Morocco

So.Asmâa you don’t always have to wear 👠. When you say, balance it depends what body movements you’re doing? Are you trying to do turn on one foot? s someone giving you a turn or two. Or are you in isolation & giving your self turns, are you using your core, how fast r u being turned, or how fast r u turning your self. Also, are you spotting & keeping your body erect. It’s all these details that help keep your balance. Go in front of a mirror & do a right turn & then a left turn. Try to spot at the same looking at your posture. Stay erect & relaxed as you do these movements. If you can’t make it Joel’s & Maria’s classes ckout TH-cam. Most of all, have fun👠🎼👗👣

@@mamboslave1 Thanks a lot for the explanation. I indeed need to exercise in front of the mirror and watch my body posture :)

Hi there. Nice work!! Now my question. Some instructors wants the lady turn fast . He get really pisted if we go slowwww. What do you think???

..it's not about turning fast but turning on time! Means you should prepare your turn on n.2, yes fast, cause you have then all n.3 (du dum) to complete your turn....but usually the ladies prepare so slowly on n.2, so from then all the turn goes out of time, which results so frustrating for the leaders!

I notice some instructors say bend your knees, but every time you see good dancer, they seem to be up straight and still move natural

You can bend your knees, but not to the point where you can't move or dance. Think like this, try to no over extend your legs to say it on other words. Hope this help. 😀
