- Today we're going to be assembling the new WARCROW 2-Player Start SET! It's on to the Cardstock Terrain from the Bakhlia Scenery pack. Never built Cardstock Terrain before? Check this out!
I'm a big fan of printed card terrain; like the Infinity buildings, Battlesystem's sets, and even the old Citadel buildings for early 40k.
I'm a fan when they're done well - they can be a real PITA - the early CB terrain was so flimsy that metal models would sometimes just go through them lol
@@kaibe5241 If anything, CB over corrected with the newer sort of terrain. It is rock solid; but takes a bit of careful shaving to make it go together smoothly. 😄👍
@@euansmith3699 Oh that's good to hear :)
I like to color the edges before i glue, but it does make a huge difference in final presentation. Great video!
Hope to see plenty of Warcrow on the channel.
I've got a set of crayola markers for coloring the edges of card terrain and also the card tokens.
Love the CB scenery packs
Now hoping to see you playing as often as Infinity 😊
Can’t wait for the let’s play for this.
Ash can that type of terrain be matte varnished and maybe some pigment powders when wet,or does that cause problems?
Hype!
My problem with running a black Sharpie over the exposed edges on cardboard terrain is that in real life, the top edge of a stone wall, or exposed edge of an overhang or similar element will usually look somewhere between grey and tan. Black makes it look less realistic than just off-white. People might find it worth investing in a brown/grey/tan marker if you're big into cardboard terrain, Sharpie makes a lot of colors.
What CA glue do you use? When I use CA on cardboard it tends to soak in and not attach things well.
