My skin is pretty dry, but the way I think it looks best is with a very hydrated base, then powder, topped with a glowy setting spray like the one from Peach and Lily.

I only ever wear powder foundation. I love the loreal one in the red compact. That's the one I wear to work (I work in a hot kitchen and it is VERY sweat proof!) And the essence one you used here, is my weekend and day off foundation because it lasts and wears beautifully, but not as long as the loreal one. ❤️

I think that this is my favourite makeup look I've ever seen you do. Just gorgeous. I always use powder foundation and yes, definitely cream concealer first.
I do love powder foundation I just love that it's quick and easy. I always used them when I was in school because I never had time to do all the blending and all that with concealer and liquid foundations.

I absolutely love that powder from Essence. I apply it to my face with a damp sponge and it gives more coverage and it doesn't look as flat.

Very beautiful look! Love the palette and the colors you used. It all came together so nicely. The powder foundation looks fantastic. I ordered it not too long ago and am waiting on it to come in the mail. I’m excited to try it! I also love the blush. So pretty. And all of it achieved with drugstore products 🎉 MOST looks can be created using just affordable drugstore make up. My way of thinking is this: if it doesn’t cause irritation to my skin, and I can’t tell the difference, no one else can tell if it’s high end or drugstore then why buy high end? I usually don’t have the extra $$ to spend on just one product. Also, the drugstore make up has come such a long way! I’m 50 so I do remember when drugstore makeup was crap. Most of it anyway. I am a huge fan of powder foundation. I'm currently using the Elf Cosmetics Camo CC Powder Foundation in Light 210N and Colourpop's Pretty Fresh Powder in Light 8N. I normally apply liquid foundation and concealer before I go in with powder foundation. It works so well. I've been testing out Elf Cosmetics Hydrating Satin Camo Concealer in the shade Tan Walnut for a cream contour after I use powder foundation and it shows up pretty well on my skin. I'm iffy when it comes to liquid products. Liquid blushes I don't wear but do want to try but I love cream and powder blushes. I've been getting into 2- in 1 products lately such as the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Primer Water in Rose Addiction. I got pick up the Milani Make It Last Setting Spray since it's on sale at Ulta.

There is a Wet N Wild Monday Feels Lip kit too!! It’s the most beautiful pink nude. The lip liner is really creamy and the lip color is not sticky and has a tiny bit of sparkle to it.

I like the Essence powder foundation. It works great for eyeglass wearers. You don't get the dent from the eyeglasses. I think I'll use it when I'm wearing glasses. It's waterproof too. Thanks for the video!

I put liquid/cream blush/bronzer and sweet with powder blush/bronzer. Foundation seems to cover the color of blush/bruise & I don't wanna waste product by building them up.

You are NOT supposed to apply Essence powder foundation with a fluffy 'face powder' brush - you should use the powder puff included with it where you gently press it on and you can get amazing coverage and poreless finish!

If you haven’t already then watch Taylor Winn. She has a powder foundation routine that works for dry skin and gives full coverage. Speaking of full coverage, applying with a kabuki brush will give you much more coverage. 😊
Girl I am with you on feeling glitter particles on the lips that gloss would be a no go for me too. I'm glad you told me about the gloss and the setting spray cause I was thinking the same thing when you read what it was.. I was thinking the same as you that it would be actual glitter and would be better for the body instead of the face but a nice hydrating glow my dry ass skin can deal with that lol, and probably going to stay away from that powder foundation that would probably not be a good idea for my dry skin. Beautiful look! I love the browns. I’m probably going to get the eye shadow palette, the Milani spray & the cream blush. I have been using cream blushes for a long time I prefer them to powder blushes. Funny thing, I love powder bronzers and don’t really go for cream or liquid bronzers 🤷🏻♀️ I think I will pass on the powder foundation. I too am dry- & just don’t like them on my skin.

I only use a liquid foundation when i have my cheer comps. I just hate it. I'm a true powder foundation lover, but I do have oily skin. My fav combo is the elf camo concealer and the maybellin fit me powder foundation!

I like to use powder foundation in the summer months. I also like it for daytime makeup. I apply my cream concealer 1st, then powder foundation. I apply my cream blush on top of the powder. I always mist with a setting spray when done. I have mature skin. I use a moisturizing primer 1st. I hope this helps l
