I just like to share lol: I’m from socal, and used to date a woman from Ohio.
One summer, when visiting her family in Ohio, her mother and her aunts shared with me their somewhat creepy stories about this “bigfoot” or “grass man,” when they were children.
They were very normal, educated, and I respected them. It was only mentioned once by them.
Obviously it has always been nothing more than me than a folktale, but it has always resonated with me due to the fact that these were some very believable tales they shared with me.
Just wanted to say :) lol
Hearing the sounds of bigfoot is not truly sightings, it’s more of an auditory encounter.
The term "Grassman" originated in Pleasant City, Ohio. That's how a witness described the creature when it suddenly stood up in a field and walked to a treeline. Greetings from The Grassman's backyard! Salt Fork State Park in Ohio. 🌿🌻👣

Interesting topic seeing that we (Ohio) are the Bigfoot capital of the world or USA or whatever; all kinds of stories floating around.
Don't leave out PA, at least as many reports from such a large amount of places, lots of mountainous terrain, yet even near a handful of cities like Greensburg. The famed ufo/bigfoot flap of the '73 era was mainly in Pa. way more than anywhere else.

If memory serves me correctly, I believe the term _Grassman_ comes from local Native Americans whose ancestors had respected and called them that because they lived in tall grass huts
Pretty sure the Indians of Ohio did not believe that bigfoot lived in grass huts.

So I have heard the Bigfoot with red eyes do NOT like people at all! But Tue big foot with regular eyes isnt really friendly with people but except them and at times have even helped humans .. which ones are in Ohio? Maybe both ? But does anyone have any friendlier encounters with Bigfoot in Ohio? I have heard stories of people from Ohio saying they have had “ good” encounters but always second or third hand accounts.

My neighbor was attacked by a BIGFOOT a couple of years ago. BIGFOOT ripped off his left arm and beat it with him. My neighbor played dead and BIGFOOT stopped beating him with his arm. BIGFOOT dropped his arm and ran off. Doctors were able to put his arm back on. His arm never worked the same. They were able to find skin cells on his left arm and could not identify the skin cells.
