Neo you could always make a small waterfall coming out the wall flowing into the water idk maybe and a small bridge going over the waterfall when it goes into the water so you can still walk around the fishing pond thing hope it helps or works 🤣

Items or blocks lose their NBT data when placed, you can make a ticket on discord to get it back, but it’s not something we can fix I don’t think.
