- Though the film hasn't come out yet, I want to state how although I am all for a sequel I don't necessarily want one, I think we should return to solo films and maybe even a return to original formula, however I do like the focus on more kajiu action.
I wouldn't mind a sequel to empire, but the next monster verse movie needs to be Godzilla focused
Adam wingard said on a post recently that it would be more Godzilla focused, like how this movie followed kong and his story, the next movie will do the same for Godzilla and follow his story and stuff.
I want less focus on the human characters and more focus on the monsters
Yeah I 100% agree with what your saying. I think that Godzilla X Kong should have been a film set 2 or more movies ahead of solo Kong or Godzilla film. I know I've literally just repeated what you said, but really do agree.
That aside, I did enjoy the film and thought it was great moster mayhem.

I have already watch the movie and as someone who actually HATED Godzilla vs Kong but LOVED this movie... im not pretty sure if i want Wingard back for a sequel
And no, this movie doesn't have Post-credit scene
Glad you enjoyed, for me since my favorite films are Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 1974 and Final wars I think this is prob going to be my favorite monsterverse film but we'll see, I liked GvK only cause for once they finally didn't cut away from the fights and gave us the action, but again I want to return to solo movies and I rather not have another where Wingard has Godzilla and Kong team up again.
id love for the next movie's plot to be about kong and shimo after they have overthrown scar king are the rulers of the hollow earth and all the great apes down there. meanwhile godzilla has defeated all enemies on the surface world and gets bored i guess and tries to venture into hollow earth, they may have a fight but knowing kongs nature unless godzilla starts to attack him he wont initate. so maybe godzilla comes down after absorbing all energy from all the defeated titans and destroys nuclear powerplants and he wants to take on the hollow earth.
if that isnt the plot then id like for it to be centered around godzilla fighting off destroyah or some other past titan from the originals
@@shiberfoltrather the sequel focus more on Godzilla, but also the feud between him and Kong should be concluded and they should see each other as allies now so wouldn't have them fight again
Just kill godzilla please make it interesting stop being boring and letting the protagonists live so many times kill him for at least a long while and bring back the protagonist a different way.
sorry, but they literally cant kill godzilla, part of tohos contract is that godzilla cant be killed, thats why he is still alive in minus one, thats why in gmk hes still alive, thats why he teleported back into earth froma different universe in megaguirus, thats why kiryu only traps him in the ocean in tokyo sos, thats why serizawa sacrificed himself in kotm
