Hey, both of these programs are mutually exclusive from each other. Bdes is an altogether separate program from Bftech program. Hence, you will have to appear for the separate entrance examinations for both of these courses and therefore, separate ranks will also get released.

Do you have any approximate idea about how many students appear for this program? And also how many chances of getting selected in this program are there after getting rank in counselling process?

@@Beautifulsoulzz Yes, everyone who has given Bftech exam is although allowed to attend the Counselling process. But in reality, they only call students from rank to rank basis. Like if suppose, counselling is supposed to happen for 5 days, 1st day they will call students who have got Rank anything between 1 -100 and so on and so forth for the upcoming days, same pattern is followed until and unless the seats gets fulled.
Merchandisers are basically the people which act as an intemdary between the designers and final consumers. They are responsible for making the right goods available at the right market, right prices, right Quantity and right location.

Hi will there be any penalty fee if we drop course during First year BF Tech?
No penalty fee is there, however the fees will not be refunded which you must have already paid for both the semesters (1&2).
Can I apply for both BDes and B.F.Tech??
I don't think there should be any problem, but still I would say read all the rules and regulations on NIFT official website before applying.

You didn't tell about fees structure of bftech ??
It's approximately, 1.5L to 2L per semester. This keeps increasing slightly year on year due to the inflation factor.
