I’m slowly adding into my position into General Mills cause people gotta eat 🤷🏻♂️ plus it’s been around for a long time so I feel like it’s a safe time to buy but not gonna make it a major holding in my portfolio
Hi, I'm using a DCF model so it is based on Free Cash Flow and its predicted growth in to the future. But I like to think about it as a result of general growth of the company. That is why I also look at the predicted market growth, revenue or EPS to determine the future growth.
Good video but trying to be a devil's advocate. Not sure if you have heard about the very recent news of food stocks going down significantly, and this they attributed to the proliferation of weight loss drugs such as Ozempic and its impact on appetite. A quick google search is telling me that this company is a manufacturer of processed foods. Therefore, could the impact of Ozempic extend to General Mills too? Also, would the world become much more conscious about what they eat? If yes - could this have an impact on General Mills growth?
Yes, I heard something about it. But I'm not to optimistic about people becoming much more conscious about what they eat. Also I just try to concentrate on the company and not to much on the economic climate, because it is so unpredictable. But if the business has good fundamentals it has a bigger chance of surviving and in the long term adopting to the new reality.
I get a similar price when I don't include the debt which is very big. So maybe that is the main difference. But of course it could be a mixture of a number of smaller reasons. Thank you so much for watching. 🙏
I am also taking something else into consideration when buying stocks. The problem the company is trying to solve - is that the world I want my children to be part of. If yes - I am trying to invest. If not - I am trying to stay away. In reality this practice may not be so easy to follow though.
great analysis. Finally I found someone makes fundamental analysis.
I'm glad you like it. Thank you for watching.
Finally, someone makes a video on GIS! Thank you.
Hope you enjoyed it! 😊

In the valuation section.. when you refers at growth.. is related to revenue? Net result? Fcf?

Understandable why some guys do global investing outside US

9 million illegals crossed our hoarder since 2020 I’m certain General Mills will continue to dominate

That is a very similar way that Guy Spier looks at investing. 👍
