      @@DiscGolfProTour pro sports have officials enforcing the rules. The PGA doesn’t make the competitors enforce the rules on each other. They have officials because otherwise the rules would get enforced on some players but not on others. Get it together and get an official on every hole enforcing the rules at every tournament so we can actually look like and act like a pro sport.

    He’s the best player in the world right now and there’s no argument to be made. 6 pro tour wins this season, and was fully expected to be the world champion this year but he really struggled in that one tournament, Isaac played that tournament like he did last year, dominant! Still, there’s not many people in history that have won that big of a percentage of the tour, it’s impressive. Time will tell if he can reach or surpass the McBeth stature but even if he doesn’t, he had a historic season and it’s not even over yet. He could still win more or even the last major

      People throw around “GOAT” WAY too much without thinking about what it actually means.

    • @alwaysradical1613

      It means greatest of all time. I’ve thought about what it means; I’ve seen Gannon play, and it’s a term I’m personally comfortable with. He’s playing at a time when the field is better than ever. He studies the game, his putts are best in class, his drives as well. He’s always in contention. He’s mentally strong and confident, which is crazy for how young he is. I only see injury derailing at this point. Time violations really? That’s all you got? Haters gonna hate I guess

    • @garnerthecube
      @garnerthecube 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@alwaysradical1613 yes, I’m a fan of his, and he is certainly the best in the world at the moment. But GOAT? You mean future GOAT? Because obviously if his career ended now he would not even be close to the greatest of all time.

    whats also crazy is, is that except for the first one where he battled with luke, none of them were that close. Second and third were won by 8 and 6 strokes and yes the last one was kind of close with two strokes but I also believed that Gannon held back on a course with high potential of big numbers because he had a five stroke lead going into the last round.
    Also the other 4 round tournament he won, the European Open, he won by two strokes, but really ran away before the heckler on hole 10 but still held it together till the last hole to win by two. Yes ricky got a bad break on the last hole and had to get aggressive to save the birdie and played really well to get into position to attack the Title but I think if you play a really good round of Golf in the last round of a major and someonoe heckles you constantly for a few holes, that can really get to you.
    Really dominant performance on those 4 round tournaments this year in my opinion.
    Edit: I would also like to add that in some of those tournaments he didnt really have a great first and sometimes second round and just dominated thet rest of them.

    If Ricky is the foot faut king, Buhr is the master of time violations. He'd have 10 strokes more per tournament if the officiating was done by actual refs, not the card mates.

    Not to take anything away from Buhr he is a beast for sure, but he wouldn't win if he was called on all of his time violations.

    • @Mr.Pants45
      @Mr.Pants45 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +9

      Courtesy rules are meant to bend before being broken. When someone is in 65th place and is taking a minute to take every throw, he's holding up the entire tournament. When Buhr, usually on the final card of the day goes 5-10 seconds over on some throws, while leading the field, are you really going to call him on it? The spirit of competition supercedes pesky little courtesy stipulations that were set in place for pace of play.

    • @craigcampbell1843
      @craigcampbell1843 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      @@Mr.Pants45no. Rules are rules. They are not getting called because it’s currently up to the card and no one wants to be that guy. The players shouldn’t have to decide what violation is important to call and what’s not or if they want to call a violation if they think it will upset everyone on the card or make someone mad at them. That’s not fair. There should be an official on every hole and they should call a violation no matter who commits it or what place they’re in at the time. In baseball an umpire doesn’t get more lenient with his calls for balls and strikes based on which team is winning. If it’s a ball he calls a ball and if it’s a strike he calls a strike. If Gannon (or anyone else) commits a violation of any kind it should be called by a tournament official without taking into consideration what card he’s on or what place he’s in. A rules violation is a rules violation no matter who is committing it.

      @craigcampbell1843 yeah, you're just wrong. The rule is in place for pace of play but not to destroy the spirit of the competition. Let's say you played Gannon and he birdied every hole and you bogeyed every hole, but he took 31 seconds for each of his throws, 18+ penalty strokes, are you going to claim you beat Buhr? Lol. If you answer yes then your argument is laughable. Not surprising coming from a guy who doesn't know basic biology.
