Our Story:
We are six years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our journey!

Brad & Deb - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Nice building. The contractors cared about what they were hired to do and followed through with good work.
Kinda sad how rare that is...at that's our experience. Thanks for watching.
Love it! Piney Grove channel is the BEST!
Glad to see new progress video.
That's an awesome enclosure, and great work done by your Contractor!!
GOD Bless You Brad & Deb
We are happy to make progress too! Thanks for watching.
It looks fine. And for three grand, that’s a steal. The 6 for stick build, is why tradesman are pricing themselves right out of business.
We agree on both points!
The pump house looks good, and goes with the other buildings. Hugs
Other than it being a foot taller than it needs to be....we are pleased with it. We're already used to seeing it there. Kinda blends in. Thanks for watching! 🙋♂🙋♀
Nice little building! Going to be perfect for its purpose.
Could probably fit a lawnmower in there too!
Nice pump house Brad, it's a nice matches to the other building 👍🏻
Thanks Luc. We are just happy we won't have to thaw pipes again next winter!
That looks nice.
Thanks. We had him come back and do some more for us.
You made a awesome video
Thank you! We really like this little building for protecting our well!
Looks like they done good job. Hard to find people that care about their work now days!
You got that right! Thanks for watching.
like the new pump house ...better than blankets
Better than thawing pipes on Christmas Eve too! Thanks for watching.

Awesome VID…we are building a LARGE barn at The Ole Church very soon!👷⚠️❤️👉
Can never have enough storage!
Love the new building Brad. I was thinking about doing similar, but was concerned that should my pump ever need to be replaced, wouldn't they need to take off the roof to get their equipment in to pull it out (~100ft well). What are your thoughts on this? Would that be a non-issue? Really good video though, thanks!
You are correct, the roof would need to come off to pull out the well pump. If it was stick built like we originally designed, we were going to make it easy to remove a panel, but this metal building will be even easier to zip out the screws and remove the roof. Thanks for watching.
Awesome. Now what are you gonna do with all the pool noodles. :)
We're going to throw them in your pond!! Thanks for watching.
@@PineyGroveHomestead LOL.
Are you gonna be able to serve the pump In a close building
We have two wells...the well inside this house will be the irrigation well. The pressure tank is for our other well. But the roof is easily removed if we ever need to put in a new well pump.
👍👍
Thanks for watching.
Good looking building Brad. Seems everything today is way overpriced. I'm wanting to put some new T-111 smart siding around our old cellar house. But, I refuse to pay 72.00 bucks for a 4x8 sheet when it was only 28 bucks a sheet a few years ago.
I hear you. 2 years ago during pandemic OSB was $50....now it's $14. I think our timing of building a house might be good. We'll see! Thanks for watching.
🙏👌👌
it came out great!
Where did you get the metal framing rail from?
Contact Sergio and he can set you up. Info in the video and the video description.
Just curious why not measure and use the bolts instead of cutting them?
It would have complicated and slowed down the build. The J-bolts were for stick built......all metal buildings are installed with anchors.
@@PineyGroveHomestead I was just curious because when I laid angle iron down. For metal framing, we put bolts in the concrete.
This would not work in Indiana lol 😆 first -20 degree day no water
Right! Easy enough to spray foam, but in Florida, this will probably work. We've got a dedicated electric outlet for a heater in there now.
