I feel like they chose really weak psych monologues for this video. They put Jake’s best solve, but didn’t put Shawn’s best. I feel like the dinosaur solve, mummy solve, light camera homicido solve, or many others would have been better at showcasing how talented of a detective Shawn was.
It's Shawn and will always be Shawn. It's really fun watching Psych. He just has fun when he's having a "psychic" vision and there are always fun to watch.

And even now, Psych still rules the kingdom, I mean how many shows get to come back to do a movie, not to mention they keep making more.

Well, Psych is a caracter driven detective show, while B99 is more a character driven comedy... so Shawn always will get more implausible cases. So, Jake is a more grounded detective, but Shawn is almost a (lovable) freak of nature
Well no offense to Jake but he always felt like a newer generation version of Shawn Spencer, similar to how Shawn Spencer and Tony Stark feel like new generations of Peter Venkman. Plus Shawn is a lot more energetic and idiotic in terms of attitude so he’s bound to get more laughs when you see him prove his genius on a case.
Shawn is better in pretty much all ways. I still like Jake though. Jake's best work is in the episode with sterling. Shawn's best work is every episode.
I'd probably go with Shawn on this one. He solves all his cases without the resources of a Police Department. Jake is awesome too though. Super close competition.
Psych is way better than like ever show out there. Even after so many years more people find it and enjoy watching it no matter their age. What I love about it most is the comedy and that it's actually family friendly, like you don't see much of those these days.
