ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Hitchcock and Scully are kind of genius if you think about it. I mean they are old enough to retire but they like sticking around, and they get paid for doing nothing all day. They get to sit around with their best buddy and eat. I would love to do that.
Yeah that last clip kinda makes me feel like they know what they've been doing all along.
NYPD if your reitre I think afer 40 years get a 100% of your pay in pension so 100k a year after retirement is still 100k a year
SZrq
@@chinookh4713wait what? 100%?
I think it's revealed that they use their position to protect a witness since the police/government (don't know who is in charge of witness protection) didn't want to give her any, despite her helping them bust a big crime lord.
Hitchcock and Scully are the best Pie Detectives in the show
The best what?
one of my fave episodes of them 🤣
Gives nypd a whole new name.
@josemaria8177 What are “pie detectives”?
@@viniciusgmachado1204he's talking about the episode where Scully and Hitchcock solve the case of Captain Holt's stolen pie. Spoiler - it was Captain Holt!
They really deserved a prequel. Like Young Sheldon
Flat top and the Freak. Like a more comedic Starsky and Hunch.
Truee
Definitely has spinoff potential! They were legends during their time.
And maybe have their old selves have some scenes here and there, to show contrast between then and now lol
Meh, they’d just make it unfunny! Like Young Sheldon!
The fact that Hitchcock and Scully are still in the precinct tells me they actually do a great job under the guise of being idiots so nobody really bothers them with favors or anything
That's literally what they say at the end.
Well hitchcock still holds the record for most arrests. And jeffords may use the excuse that he was there 20 years ahead of him.... But hitchcock hasnt been working for the last 20 years anyway
There are a few Hitchcocks and Scullys where I work 😅
They have mastered the Ivan Vorpatril method.
Desk duty legends 😂
The Young Hitchcock and Scully cold-open is my absolute favourite cold--open of B99.
It makes me want an 80s style buddy cop action movie with them
Ditto
Tie between that and the Backstreet boys one.
Should be a spin off
Flat Top and the Freak@@HighSpeedChaser
I love Hitchcock casually yeeting a rock through the window lmao
that clip absolutely cracks me up xD
The tattoo of hitchcock putting a gun in his mouth at 9:06 always cracks me up
Hilarious yet disturbing all at once.
Holt's "Nobody asks Hitchcock why he knows that." and his "Nobody asks Hitchcock how he knows THAT" from 2:08 - 2:27 are my personal highlights.
9:24 holt coming to Hitchcock and Scully to find his pie 🤣 the way he opened up his notebook to jot down notes HAHA
Their best episode has to be them doing a case with Charles Boyle 6:47 and actually doing the case correctly, and not wanting the credit so they can stay at their desks.
What episode is this?
@@joelhess1436wanna know too
my mother once said, "You do good work. and you will automatically get rewarded with more."
@@joelhess1436 i think this is "sabotage" s2 ep19
Despite being in some of the most terrifying and dangerous situations for a police officer....... Rosa is still audibly terrified of Hitchcock's driving. That's a testament to how wanting to unlive Hitchcock gets behind the wheel
And regarding his tattoo makes one think Hitchcock has some real problems.
Some people dont belong behind the steering, just saying mate.😅
It's kind of disturbing, but I can't stop laughing at Terry's interaction about the tattoo 🤣 9:01
How he pulls his glasses off 😂
i mean he did pull the trigger, it's a suicide!
i crack at that every time
I laugh everytime watching this scene
_"YOU PULLED THE TRIGGER, MAN!!"_
“you bet your nips it did skidmark 🗿”
LMAOO my new favourite
Love this one😂😂
I love both of them, I so hope the "I have nothing to live for and I drive like it" clip is in here lmao
THEY ACTUALLY INCLUDED IT 😂
well done
Season and Episode?
@@Top10135 it's the end of season 3 somewhere, not sure if it's the last episode or the one before that
Top three characters which deserved a prequel:
1. The young Raymond Holt
2. Hitchkock and Scully
3. Adrien Pimento
I definitely like Scully more than Hitchcock, but I know they’re a package deal and they need each other.😅
Also, there’s a lot of things you shouldn’t ask Hitchcock to clarify or speak about.😳😂
Me too, Scully is actually really sweet and it melts my heart every time I hear him call Jake Jakey. They both were originally just meant to be background characters but Joel and Dirk would get together and come up with funny little bits to do in the background and I guess the producers liked it and made them more permanent cast members.
Hitchcock n Scully helping Marissa is making me emotional
Hitchcock and Scully are actually good detectives and good people they did their police work in the seventies and 80s and they still check on that one woman after all those years they never spoke an extra wing on each of their plates means she's okay and they did it for years that is actually great detective work I bet you anything that woman is grateful for the rest of her life
One of the best comedy duos ever.
😂
The best character in the show.
Yes, I'm counting them both as one character.
THEY'RE A PACKAGED DEAL!
If Rosa is afraid of Hitchcock's driving, you know it's bad. 😂😂😂 At 5:27.
There should be a compilation of every time Scully saves the precinct, because he alway does and no one gives him credits for it
Young hitchcock and scully deserve a spin-off
Agreed!
Scully is Jack Reacher
More Hitchcock and Scully? Yes please
"I have nothing to live for, and I drive like it"
*Hard cut to everyone screaming*
I believe that Hitchcock and Scully are actually the smartest detectives in the precinct but they have been playing extremely dumb for the past few decades
they more or less said that.
Man, Hitchcock and Scully are favorite characters.
Ican watch this video over and over again. If they weren't in the series, it would not have been that amazing.
Love Boyle’s reaction to Hitchcock explaining what the crumbs on his desk were.
“I’ve never seen him walk with such purpose” 😂😂😂
I don’t need it, but I love it. 😂😂
Me with a lot of things. Like energy drinks 😅
They are actually pretty good detectives who have a lot under their belts.
Well, atleast Hitchcock has more Halloween Heist wins than Charles. 😅😅.
? When?
@@Anchor_Productionslast season

‘Sure, but what do they WANT from him?’
‘Ten thousand dollars- I JUST said that…’
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That last clip is great - so often I wonder *why* Hitchcock and Scully were kept as employees. In the evaluation episode, Holt even mentions they have an abysmal arrest record.
I'm guessing we didn't see Holt talk about their incredible skill at paperwork. These two probably do insane amounts of paperwork so the other detectives, like Jake and Amy, can keep doing their thing. They're like the janitors of the 99 - you don't see them much but boy are they important.
12:23 - so scully was jack reacher 😂
But before that he was Thad Castle 😂
3:17
I love holts reaction 😂😂😂
"I know I deserve it but why?"
@@chrisbodley8958 😂
"I'm surprised you didn't say breast."
"Yeah, that's because I'm not a child. I need my afternoon nap!!"
"LOOPHOOOOOOOLE 💃" - this sends me every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA i can't!!!!
I love that they kept their old computers just to keep Minesweeper.
"I dont need it... but i love it"
Scully may be a soft cinnamon roll, but he's still the size of the bear. I wish he had at least one scene of intimidating a criminal into submission simply by standing there, even if by some sheer accident.
I just love how they’re actually much more talented than Jake but they’re so much lazier than him that you won’t see it
I would love a series where each character got a prequel series for at least a season or half a season each before b99
It’s actually heartbreaking thinking how amazing they were back in the day but it was all ruined by chicken wings.
11:24 admit: this is the reason why you're here
The studs of the nine nine
I love when they arrested the guy in the bathroom with their pants down lol.
"He thought the bathroom was empty because we use the toilet with our feet on the stall door!"
Hitchcock has to be the funniest with the best dialogue delivery coupled with how we see very little of him,he prolly made us laugh the most.
Hitchcock and Scully are the most Criminally Underrated Comedy Duo of all time.
I love them in "Dallas Buyers Club"🤣😂
70s-80s Hitchcock and Scully spinoff lezgooo
We need a prequel miniseries/movie about these two.
I would love to see a Hitchcock and Scully prequel❤❤❤😂😂😂
“Oh no! MY PASGETTI”
You should also add the time when Hitchcock was limitlessing when he took Scully's meds. 😂😂😂😂😂
The 99s wouldn't be same without them. They are the best
10:16 "im so sick of this city" 😂😂
I like the fact they know a lot and still have skills, only they don’t want the credit anymore. Especially since they want to keep minesweeper on their computers.
'LOOPHOLLLEEE'
I drive like I’ve nothing to live for - Hitchcock
Well there's this one red door in my basement I've never been able to open and sometimes at night i hear screaming from the other side, but I'm sure it's just the wind.
“I’ve had enough heart attacks to know what sweat looks like”
"I don't need it.... but I love it!" That managed to make Boyle cringe, and it was beautiful.
Young Hitchcock mEEEEow and the old one is just hilarious.
I would love to see Hitchcock and Scully in 80s as a spinoff ❤
Mate, love the old saxo background music. It is like my childhood right there.
8:47 Makes me ugly laugh/cry every time 😂
How dare you leave out “no more alimony baby!”
I live and breathe these posts
Everyone has a Hitchcock and Scully at work 😂
Young Scully and Hitchcock is something else
I love how they solve the pie and loopholeee~~~
Imagine if they made a Brooklyn 9-9 prequel in the 1980s when Hitchcock and Scully were badasses
I adore the writers for always including Scully and Hitchcock in the crews cases and crazy adventures. That realization hit me in the episode where they go to California for a funeral and ended up on that insane road trip. They are useless as detectives and are pervs but they’re still part of the 99. 💜
Man, Jack Reacher really let himself go over the years at the 99.
i really want to see a 70s and 80s cop show about Young Hitchcock and Scully
“I don’t need it but I love it”….Hitchcock and Scully period!!
I wish they did more episodes with Hitch and Scully when they were the younger selves, they were awesome!
After conducting some research, I can confirm that the words "limousine" and "magazine" do not have the same etymological roots. While the exact origins of these words are somewhat unclear, it is generally believed that "limousine" comes from the name of the French region Limousin, where this type of carriage was first produced, while "magazine" is derived from the Arabic word "makhazin," meaning storehouse or warehouse. Despite their differences in origin, both of these words have become an integral part of the English language and are widely used today.
The most underrated members of the 99!
I dunno what it was, but Hitchcock chucking that rock through the glass had me in tears.
I love how thry turn into genuinely good detective when its about food
“What happens if you die while you’re in debt? LOOPHOLE!”
9:47 “i’m not a child, I need my afternoon nap”
I hope they’re going to make a B99 prequel titled “Hitchcock and Scully”. Lol..
I have a question. If Scully and Hitchcock took the bullet for Marissa at 13:25, why aren't they awarded with Medal of Valor like Boyle did the same for Diaz? Just saying.
"Nice job, you broke the TV" kills me every time 😂😂😂
keyword “trying” 🤣
A prequel spinoff with 80s Hitchcock and Scully please😂
Hitchcock and Scully 80’s show ala Miami vice with Alan Ritchson would SLAP
Actually turned me into a fan!
@9:18 the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while😅
just realized that scully's reversed engineered texting isn't on here. a travesty
1:50 i love angry charles so much 😭
I can’t stop laughing at 5:11.
I need more prime sculls and Hitchcock
I've always wondered how their friendship started, did they meet before becoming cops and joined the force together? Did they meet at the police academy and hit it off? Did they become friends when they were paired up together on a case? Did they initially hate each other but got along after a good case?
THESE QUESTIONS ARE WHY WE NEED A H + S SPIN-OFF!
Hitchcock and Skully: the spuds of the 99
Hitchcock is the best cop!!
Hitchcock and skully are actually great detective
Love how at 9:43 Holt looked up like him and Hitchcock just switched ranks 😂😂
