I was so disappointed, the ending was so cruel. Like yes, she sacrificed herself and saved so many( including her daughters and husband), but she deserved to live a long life, see her daughter grow up, Francisco as well deserved much more. And don’t even start me with Marga...As you can guess I am still processing the ending.

i cant get over the finale
From the first scene they had together to the last one, I've been shipping them from the beginning. ❤ it just couldn't have been any other way. Only one thing makes me angry...During some seasons they haven't got proper scenes together only when Lidia wanted help from him 😒 but despite that I'm satisfied❤
I honestly hated the ending! All of them didnt deserve that ending.
Still sad how francisco and lidia dont have a child together. But i love how they are each others soulmate.Is it me or spanish people are just romantic?? They like to say you are the woman/love of my life? Im all for it 😍

Ending put me in shock. I didn’t like it. It as too much, stays with you. I’m sure events like this happened during
the Spanish Civil War, but really you couldn’t give the audience something to be happy about.
i was so relieved that she end up with Francisco at the end ....they look much better looking n chemistry than with carlos ...
The funny thing is all 3 actors played in a different show together when they were younger, with Fransisco and Alba being a couple there and Carlos Fransiscos best friend. So Carlos and her always seemed so wrong to me.

As hard as the ending was, as a leftist myself i found it empowering, inspiring and deeply deeply harsh. This is why I am proud of all the women, all the people of the republican army. Way to go comrades!!
The series was so invested and yet they didn't worry that "Young Alba" would be at least similar to "Older Alba" like...with green eyes?? Is too hard? It hurts the level of credibility of the series and the character of the characters, between us, it is impossible not to fall in love with Lidia...and the young Alba , she's very different from her..Lidia
Bdw, is a good show, very sad but vey good story Although in their place I would quickly break through the barrier with the train and run over the policemen, or at least use the guns they took, they had a chance...
