- Hi Star Wars collectors, check out my review for The Vintage Collection Imperial Stormtrooper (Nevarro Cantina) with E-WEB Cannon. This is one of the new deluxe sets with plastic free packaging. The Stormtrooper is the Rogue One VC140 version but with updated rocker ankles. These really help when posing the figure when using the E-WEB cannon accessory.

Nice figure. I definately agree on the blaster. All troopers should have one regardless.
Looks pretty cool. I agree that deluxe packs should be used for things like these and not just random figures with a few extra small accessories to them.
Being the E Web and other heavy ordinance played a big part in season one,this packaging makes absolutely good sense.

I have this figure and *believe* (though not 100% certain ) the helmet is actually the “Galaxy of Adventure” 5poa helmet (the “figures in a can” line) which is a little bigger and a little better (more crisp) and shaped slightly differently. It also sits a little higher on the post , giving this stormtrooper a neck, whereas the VC140 has a slightly smaller helmet and it sits lower giving the vc140 bit of a missing neck look. Or it’s an entirely new helmet.
So glad I pre orderd mine dose remind me of the old mini rigs what I think they should bring back !!

Woah, I think the figure looks so good! Gun looks great too. I have a Kenner and a Power of the Force cannon on display and they look like exactly the same size as this. So my Stormies have to have bent knees too. But in Empire, the Stormie in the Hoth base has to use this with bent knees and I reckon this is actually a pretty good replica of the size of the one shown in the film and also The Mandalorian. So pretty good all round I reckon.
Yeah, it would definitely look good on your shelf, but being perfectly honest, I also reckon Little Bossk will of scarfled off with it by the weekend. 🤣
Maybe the e-web stormtrooper is suppose to be posed down in a military foxhole with the e-web repeater cannon at a slightly higher elevation behind cover such as a barricade, or sandbags (like a machine gun nest).

I’m surprised they redid the e-web cannon this version looks over tooled the last version I got was in a battle box with a hoth scout Walker 2 snowtroopers and a atst driver

Collectors demand screen accurate and highly detailed figures, vehicles, and accessories. The cannon you are referencing came from a time that figures looked nothing like the character both in portrait and proportion, and nearly every accessory is cartoonishly big and fires a missile. The EWeb cannon was long over due for a total redo.
I'm not sure if your mean the B.O.H. ultimate battle pack from Target or the battle pack from TRU ? but i'm sure you mean the one from Target.

My original Kenner ST didn’t age or yellow for decades, it probably faded, then boom overnight he went yellow. My POTF 1 I had is till white, bit dull like
Great review as always. It's funny how you said it's a plastic free package inside and the figure and the Canon are plastic. That being said it looks nice.

Canceled my pre order for this (had way too many at once). But I hope I can pick this up when it comes out in the US. I have the 90's one that came with the Snowtrooper, but this looks like an upgrade.

Awesome video Bossk. Maybe it’s just me but that newer trooper does look like a slightly altered mold? Could just be my eyes fooling me the Waist line looks to have some newer details and paint apps and the helmet looks a little different then the older one. But again I think it’s the off white and bright white messing with my eyes lol. And 100% he should have came with an e-11 blaster
I wonder if we will get another go around of this trooper, Ahsoka, and the flame trooper for those who missed 1st and now 2nd chance around 🤦

I ordered 2 of these and looking forward to them arriving- but no blaster!? For all it would take to include one - that’s a bit sh*te.
Surely by now they could have sorted out discolouration and yellowing problems especially with Storm/Clone troopers clad entirely in white for crying out loud.
This is something they should've figured out since the revenge of the sith collection (2005). By 2005 they fixed figures that "gassed off" that would get slimy when kept in closure or kept sealed. This is caused by plasticizer......I think the first modern articulated trooper was in the target special edition clone, and then that mold would be used for VC, Saga, etc.
Great video as ever bb, the cannon looks as if it will break within 5 minutes of assembly, doesn't look great quality for the premium price?

Looks great shame it's a little too short they really should have thought that out better. One would think they would have tested the cannon out. If they did they would have realised it's too short. Also have to agree he really should come with an extra weapon it is a deluxe piece after all.
If anything the cannon may be a bit too tall. If you watch the scene this is from, the cannon it’s about Stormtrooper waist height and the Stormtrooper using it is crouched down.
These are pretty expensive on the 2nd Market ..bossk do you think these will drop in price as they become more available? Just looking for your opinion .great review .,thanks

This was import stock so they arent really out yet in the UK or US, so yeah wait and get it for retail price

I did walk into target and find at least 13 Cara dune (Credit collection) before she was fired and the price went up. Lol
Well he can use one of the extra blasters from the army builder 4 pack. And tbh who doesn't have extra star wars blasters laying around but I can see how this is honestly very lazy on hasbros part.
Not going to lie, I'm going to use my Kenner Vintage tripod laser cannon and pass on this.
After seeing this I’m contemplating canceling my orders for this figure. The E-WEB looks cheap and has me thinking is it worth paying more than $20 for a stormtrooper when I have nearly 500 troopers, just for a cheaply made, undersized cannon that I’ll wind up not using? 🤷♂️ love your videos Tim. Too small? It’s exactly the size it should be (at least in height). If you go watch the scene this is from, you’ll see that the top of the blaster comes up to around the Stormtroopers’ waists.

I hate the "rubbery" plastic they use on so many things these days. It's really terrible for the wings of the Vintage Collections X-Wing Fighters.
Same here, even the points of articulation are so rubbery is scary to move some of them.
@@mcrmaza Indeed. I'm not really an "opener", but every once in a while I'll find a figure I just have to pose. Even the 3.75" GI Joe figures are are terrible. I thought for sure I was going to break off a leg or an arm.
Yeah it’s totally bogus that they didn’t give the Stormtrooper a blaster. Like, it isn’t biting at much out of the profit portion of the price to give him one, but oh well. This looks really cool and I hope (if Walmart’s website ever puts it back up) I’ll be able to get one.

Yeah Hasbro are taking the piss of us, its something else that wont come to New Zealand, God its tiring having to order everything online these days, and certainly when the price doubles because of it.
Frankly the legs look so skinny and narrow I would call it more of a step back than a step forward. For years Hasbro has made skinny limbs which don't look right for a guy in a armored outfit like a Stormtrooper. Unfortunately most of the fan base you included are completely fine with that and will gobble this shit up for years to come :(
Huh I didn’t even notice it the first time, but looking at them they aren’t too bad. They may be a bit skinny, but the clone troopers are much worse.

The helmet is the same? when you compared the 2 the new one seems different since I saw that from now on like the commander, the 50 lucasfilm and the Heavy assault trooper will have a more ANH helmet
Looks like the helmet has some different paint apps to but its kinda hard to tell since he didn't give us much of a close up of the figure.

Just picked up x5 of these at my local Big W in Australia, I can confirm all x5 are missing the handles and top cowling, there is a peg hole in the back for the handles/cowling to plug into. Stormtrooper is an excellent looking figure. I sent email to Hasbro to see if I can get it rectified. Loved the Video as always, keep up the great content.

I think the E-Web is just the right size...if you go and look at the way the snowtrooper is crouched down when getting ready to fire on the falcon in TESB. All previous versions of the toy were on the larger side and don't really look right.
1:24 I guess this is our future. A compartmentalized arrangement of figures and accessories wrapped in tissue paper. I’m still in shock this is where we’re headed….🤦🏻♂️. I suppose we can still toss the bits and bobs into a Star Case and hang it on the wall….😏.
Also, I wonder if numbering will still be used when we go to boxes. I always viewed the VC# as an identifier for the “collection”, a way to keep items organized. When we migrate to throwaway packaging is a VC# even needed? Hey! That’s a good question for “Ask Bossk Bounty”!

Shame Hasbro included no blaster. Just seems like where common sense should be exercised, Hasbro avoids it or just plain ignores it.
Waiting on mine. Hope to god it has the handles. Why would Hasbro not include Handles? And why not add a blaster. After all this is meant to be a deluxe set

I can't get the legs to stay on the trip pod to save my life. I've been trying for almost 2 weeks and have almost given up at this point. I just stuffed it back in the box and try again in like 5 years

The new stormtrooper figures are perfect. I think Hasbro should do an updated snowtrooper and include this cannon and put it inside a ESB vintage box.

@@briandeluca4318 Yep! I have both TVC RS the normal and the carbonized, just waiting for a new mold lol. Cuz for me I just really like their unique weathering look and just noticed the Carbonized version has a different weathering than the normal RS. And if I didn’t bought the incinerator trooper, I wouldn’t buy the artillery tho

@@slabs-n-such Walmart the first pre order day, they sent the Ahsoka and Grogu pack already and sent an email saying the other two packs will be shipped in July. The imperial stormtrooper and the incinerator stormtrooper and Grogu packs.

the cannon is the right size and resembles what is shown on ESB and replicated on The Mandaloran. Snowtroopers really had to crouch to man the E-web cannon as show on this picture www.starwarshelmets.com/2018/SWH18_ESB_Snowtrooperl32.jpg
We bought 3 of these, all 3 had no handles on the Canon. So your statement is correct.

@@BossksBounty be interesting to see where the defective batches went and how many. Big W Brisbane Australia seems to have all no handles. We bought 2 from one store, the other from a different store. The problem with this new packaging is you don't know till you get it home and open it.
