OK. I'm super impressed at some of these simple but fantastic changes. You're one handy man to have around. Bet the wife appreciates having you there. Very nice video.
I bought it online from PPL Motorhomes in Houston. The size and dimensions of the tank were determined by the opening above the propane tank. I went with the largest that would fit in the opening.
Luv the vid! I don’t have your knowledge base… I really like the extra water switch to the clothes washer! I would like to pick your brain about saddle tanks. Under the doors are just those plastic/fiberglass steps and I would really like to replace those with Freightliner M2 saddle tanks. Couple of issues being the driver side tank will need to be smaller due to the def tank placement, or just remove and place in a cabinet… the second problem is switching between tanks on the dash with a three way switch; or just plumb it into the main tank as a fill job. We currently live in SoCal and travel to Montana on I15 quite a bit. I don’t want to buy fuel in Cali ever! Plus if we do a cross country trip again I can be very selective about where I do get fuel… any thoughts? TY for your time.
if you can find a way to get them mounted a simple xfer pump would work. You would have to put a transfer pump in each tank and pump it to the 100 gallon tank in the middle and let the normal pickup and fuel pump do its thing. what you are thinking is really not a bad idea. I have been thinking of putting a 30 gallon tank directly behind the 100 gallon tank between the frame rails, however, I am already pushing the limit on my 19K lbs axle. You might even be able to put the two switches in the cab for each saddle tank to do the pumping while driving down the road. Probably will have to figure out a way to vent the tanks to each other or open the filler cap while pumping. DISCLAIMER!!!! I am no expert, I have never done that, messing with fuel is dangerous, do at your own risk, etc, etc, etc.
@@wanderingpeaches the L brackets/straps are standard for the M2 chassis. I would buy and mount them but have Freightliner run the fuel and vent lines. I am already heavy on my drive axle, that is why I’m trying to add weight to the steer axle. I want a moose rack as well to protect the front end and bring weight forward. Currently I am just under 8K on my steers, with our car on the trailer.
I have been looking at ex-guard.com for a deer guard. At a campground I was talking with a Seneca owner that had one and he said the price wasn't too bad. If you do the extra fuel, please totally document the process with pics and vids. I might copy you on that mod.
Thanks for the video. I was especially interested in your water heater replacement since we too hate the on demand WH we currently have. I also need to research more about the ceramic heaters you use in your basement areas. I’m new to your channel so I’ll look to see if you have more details about that somewhere.
Both of those modifications were done before the TH-cam Channel. The Water Heater I just paid the man. I wanted a bypass installed and all the electrical. Plus the outside panel had to be cut. I was afraid to cut that so I just wrote the check. As for the basement heat, I installed a receptacle in each basement that has water and ran them all together with 12 gauge wire back to under the bed. I got on Amazon and purchased four 200 watt ceramic heaters and screwed them to the ceiling in the basement and plugged them in to the new receptacles.
Here is a video of me modifying the bed lift. I built it before I started the TH-cam Channel. th-cam.com/video/041gRm6nW0c/w-d-xo.html I engineered it on the fly, I used: old bed frame rails Two 150 lbs shocks (amazon) A stack of washers A piece of cut up plastic cutting board Two small hinges (Lowes) That really is it, You will see how it all fits together in the above video. Good Luck !!!
Sorry, a lot of the modification I have done were done before we started the TH-cam Channel. There is a ton of information on the air dump over on the Jayco Owners Super C Forum: www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f64/
it really depends on the year of your coach. Jayco realized they had an issue and started put the wing wall on both the Seneca and the Accolade around 2020 or 2021, I don't remember the exact date.
I just completed my wing wall mod on my 2021 Accolade. Was told it took 20 hours start to finish, including measuring and cutting the wood. Took me 18 at casual pace. So many staples to remove, very delicate situation removing the headliner without creasing it. By far the most intensive mod I’ve made.

Yea, the DW loves it too. She was not able to get in there before the mod.
Great video, thank you for all the details.
Where did you get the additional water tank from ?

Great Video, Do you have a video, or parts list and description on the hydraulic bed lift system. Something I've been looking for

Hi, great video and welcome to Texas. I watched all of yours but can’t find the one for the dump valve install. Did I miss it? Thanks again

Hey great video btw where did u get mirror caps
Amazon, just search for "20 Plastic END Cap Round Cover 15mm 20mm Plug Insert Hole Tube Black Screw Pipe"
Curious where you purchased your wheel covers? Do you like them?
Amazon, search for "Moonet Tire Covers 4 Pack"
Do Seneca owners just accept that they need to do the wing wall repair?

I would check. I know someone with a 2022 and the wing wall was installed at the factory during manufacturing.

glad you got it done
