There are two Georgia's. Atlanta metro and the rest of the state. I retired to rural Georgia from South Florida and built a house on a 135 wooded acres. Love the country life. Good deer hunting.
Me, I'm "those people" that lives in a small town that now needs to be renamed Florida or New York or any other state. Growing up in Metro Atlanta, we moved to my dad's hometown in North Georgia because the crime rate in our part of metro was increasing exponentially during the '96 Olympics. And then of course the traffic. Its always been bad, but just keeps getting worse and worse. We're now seeing the same thing happen in our quiet, little town in North Georgia. It is very upsetting. I love me some Georgia, though. I just miss the slow, little less crowded North Georgia. Guess that's whay happens when you live in a beautiful place. ☹️
I absolutely regret moving to North Georgia from Southern Arizona. My expenses have almost doubled, the traffic is horrid, and unfortunately it appears many of the new comers have brought along with them their attitudes and mannerisms of rudeness and entitlement. I don't blame the locals for being so upset with this invasion. I moved here only to be close to family, but even that has not worked out as I had hoped since they are all pretty much too busy to spend much time with me anyway. Oh, and did I say I hate the freaking weather? ha ha...In hindsight, I should have remained in Arizona and just visited Georgia.
Agreed! When I moved here over twenty years ago, this was a beautiful place, it was slow paced with beautiful landscapes. People came here with their awful driving habits which is driving the insurance so high!!! The trees are gone and everything is expensive. I’m very sad about what this place has become.
@@phoenixmoon9116 In 1965 we moved from Pa. to WPB. Fl. I remember my parents new house was $15,000. It was great growing up fishing, boating, surfing, spearfishing lobstering, aquariums catching tropical fish, airboat and swamp buggies's duck and dove hunting. Fast Forward I couldn't wait to get out it's a 5 star rat hole. I retired to rural Georgia forget Atlanta metro.
Who cares about nay sayers, I have lived in Georgia for 5 decades and love it! Traffic? Of course, Atlanta is huge and that’s what you expect but there are great things about this state.

@@MovingtoGeorgia Yes, thank you for the links. I was more referring to all the people flooding Atlanta right now, like, don't they know that there is more to Georgia than just Atlanta? Granted, it's a pretty important city and all but it'd just be nice if they gave the rest of Georgia a shot as well. Of course, that's where you come in and spill the beans on all the other amazing places in Georgia so it's win win all the way around 😁🙂
Yeah the growth is something else, Cartersville, Canton, Alpharetta, Gwinnet, BUT, the express (toll) lanes on 75, 575, 85 and the new 285/400 interchange (will) help.
Adding more lanes is dumb, and not a fundamental long term solution . “Just one more lane bro” is the foolish go to with G DOT and all the other incompetent officials, they need to travel to Europe to see how a city infrastructure should really look like, instead of a paved mega plex of 50 lanes.
@@neox9369 Is everything ok? Clearly I'm trying to be supportive of this channel, not solve all of societies' ills. It's a real estate video. 😂 And truth be told, those toll lanes really have cut my commute by half.😍 I wish you all the best. Peace, love and kindness to you brother. ✌
This is the case for most states that Californians and New Yorkers are fleeing to. I’ve seen this in two states I moved to. Californians brining their home sale money ( further inflating values) and bringing their blue voting habits that caused the failure of their states in the first place. Makes me wonder if it was done on purpose 🧐

Hi beautiful Sarah I love Atlanta

I plan to move Georgia , but I am RED
No desire to move to Atlanta.
You don’t have Georgia accent at all
I blame this on my mother who grew up in a military family all over the US. However, depending on where I am, I'm told I do have one, lol!
I live here because I have no choice… i honestly hate Georgia 🙃
Try living in the shitho*e NYC. You will hate your life even more.
