Viewer from 2014 here. Not sure what some others are talking about but i like these types of videos. It gives us a semi-personal look into your life. Your videos have got myself & many others thru tough times so ill always be here to support.
I’m close in age to Adam and I’ll try to pass on what helped me. Stop playing it safe. When we’re fearful of losing what we built up and our relationships we end up behaving the precise way to make us suffer those losses. With exercise and dieting we need to aim low! When we make our expectations too difficult we tend to give up. Try for 15 minutes of exercise a day that’s it. As for dieting you can’t make it a punishment. Try to not gain more than five pounds from this level but don’t be a slave to the scale. The T shirts are fun but also get some nice fitting polos and other collared shirts. Get some nice dressy shorts and pants to wear as well. Nothing baggy! Dressing like this will help keep you on track with other goals. If you see someone who interests you start a conversation and if possible get a number. It absolutely works. You’re a blessed man with loyal followers who will always support you. You’re extremely talented and a good looking man. You have many many years of happiness ahead of you so proceed with confidence. Good luck on everything you can definitely do it.

If you plan to do a Disney Cruise next year, my advice after being on a few, would be the Disney Fantasy (not newer Wish) on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean (not Western). Rooms in Category 8A on Deck 5 are twice the size as a regular room, with a half divider wall, which is good if you have people with you (mom, dad, friends). My mom and I loved the extra space.
Always lock the phone before putting it in your pocket. Also go to Settings>Accessibility>Touch then turn off Tap to Wake. You’ll have to press the lock/power button to wake your phone.
Just wanted to say I really enjoy and appreciate your vlogs. The content is always great to me and is different from other channels I watch because you change it up and don’t do the same thing every day. My favorite vlogs are the trips with your family especially your Mom and Dad. I’m very close to my family so I love watching your travels with them. Thanks for all you do and share. ❤

I used to pocket dial too. My solution worked: move the phone, contacts, and messaging apps off the home screen so you have to scroll to another screen to make a call etc. To avoid incoming calls, turn on Do Not Disturb. You can set it to allow any contacts you want to be able to get through even with DND on.

For your iPhone issues go to settings, display & brightness, and turn off "raise to wake" this solved the random call issue for me. It's doing these things because it's detecting motion and turning itself on when it's in your pocket I had the same problems.
I'm a recovering type II diabetic and eat very low carb. I can relate to what you're saying about food cravings and getting used to new types of eating (no sugar, no junk). I find if I fall off the wagon, I start craving the junk. Keep fighting the good fight 👍

Hey Adam, phone issue is super simple to fix. Just turn on either passcode lock and/or face identification. That way your phone can never go past the lock screen without your input.
I was blessed to travel in my 20’s Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, no problems whatsoever, when I turned 70 I went to Vietnam still no problem now in my mid 70s I suffer from arthritis on both knees travel while your health is good,

It's so true, once you stop eating sugar, you don't crave it anymore. It becomes more like an old bad habit. Over the years we have certainly found that sugar is a big culprit of a lot of health problems. Cottage cheese has a lot of protein, I eat it in the morning with my eggs.
My wife and I are at Disney this week and we drove to Celebration Tuesday to see your home base in person. We thought you were still traveling so we didn't expect to meet you. But now we learn you were there so we are sorry we missed you. We would have missed you anyway since we were there about 11:00 a.m. Maybe some other time. Sony FDRX3000 is the perfect vlog camera in my opinion. Bald and Bankrupt uses it and so do a lot of other travel vloggers. Image stabilization is good and is pretty simple operation.
Adam! I would make sure that you just turn off the screen before putting the iPhone back in your pocket. that way you wont butt dial anyone. Just try that first before turning on airplay mode and see if that helps your issue. Maybe you are putting the phone in your pocket without turning off the screen. is the issue maybe???
Also if you dont already, have a passcode to enter your iPhone. that way when you turn the screen off and put it in your pocket you'll need to enter a passcode in order to gain access to contacts and whatnot. surly your pocket cant enter the passcode by itself then!
As an Orioles fan, I am enjoying the recent resurgence, but I certainly feel the pain with a team down on its luck. The Orioles had that terrible stretch of 1998-2011, but going to the games could still be a good time.

I'm here every day for the content, it's part of my routine just like it is for Mr the Woo. A lot of the stuff really interests me, such as baseball, some Halloween stuff, anything Christmas just to name a few, but I will say that the thing that brought me here is the small town videos. So I'm very happy to hear that those videos will be part of the upcoming plans. There will definitely be a little extra interest on those days that start something like "day one of small towns in Nebraska".
Change your lock screen widgets to something other than phone and contacts. For example mine are flashlight and camera. Poor Joey Fatone you must pocket dial him a ton(fan girling over here).

Yea, always-on screen might be an issue. Call Apple Support. Its free! Also Look in ”Settings>Display & Brightness>Auto-Lock” and set to 30 seconds. See how that goes. I would send you pictures but the TH-cam doesn’t seem to permit pictures.

You’re to be commended for your Rays loyalty. I’ve commented before that it’s easy to follow a team when they’re winning. You know you’re a true fan when they suck and you still follow them. As a lifelong Twins fan we get to a certain point of a season when the “there’s always next year” chant begins. Nothing longer than a season when your team has been eliminated by the end of May. BTW, when you go to Minnesota for your Target Field adventure, be sure to head south to my home town of Harmony, MN. It’s the 100th year for Niagara Cave and you can get some beautiful cave footage. 😬
Hopefully your road trip will include a visit to your Sister's place and a day trip with her to an amusement park, those videos are always fun. Also, if you do pickup a printer for the homestead I have been very happy with the Brother brand. Over the last 10 years I have had one big one in my office and a much smaller one (under $100) in my home and they have performed so great and work so well wirelessly.
Hi Adam! Phone suggestion: go to settings, go to Focus, right arrow next to do not disturb and scroll down to schedule, works for me - hope it works for you!
Turn off raise to wake in settings and make sure you turn off the screen before putting it in your pocket. You can use a lock screen pass code for an extra layer too
Adam (not sure if this will fix your phone problem) go to settings / focus / do not disturb. You’ll have a page that lets you allow notifications from certain people you choose, certain apps you choose, and / or all of your contacts. Maybe this will help?
i dont know if adam could stand to stay at home too long, but being a creature of habbit, he may develope a habbit fairly quickly, of only wearing a long brown housecoat with orange trim, and only eating cereal

Adam, try flipping your phone around in your pocket so the screen is facing away from your leg. That helped be with pocket dialing issues in the past since it could be your leg through the pocket tapping the screen a bit

Anyway, I like how you are leaving your future plans regarding the type and frequency of your episodes up in the air. Try going in your setting and see if it has a axidential touch setting and turn it on. It keeps you from doing that while your phone is in your pocket.

Yo - just lock your phone and make sure your phone is set to facial recognition, once locked and in a pocket or wherever it would not have an opportunity to call without being unlocked first. Adam regarding the phone butt dialing problem, simply create a Lock Screen pass code and you should never have that problem again. Unless you put your phone back in your pocket without locking it, I just don’t see how it would be possible. Go to settings and it should be under Face ID & Passcode
You live in such a beautiful place. Your videos are always fun and interesting. Neither of my parents can travel with me anymore so it's great you can still take yours away with you. I work in a dark office, with big old furniture and it's always depressing. You're travel videos give me joy to watch.
I have that problem with my iPhone when it’s hot/humid out. I just started facing my phone screen away from my leg in my pocket and don’t seem to have any problems when I do that, but it’s hard to get into the habit.
Sat in those rocking chairs for about 2 hrs one day in January. Met some nice people who were also rocking away. We all got our passports (2 renewals, 2 new) in less than 2 weeks. They are processing them quickly nowadays.
Phone issue - what worked for me was making sure the screen is locked before putting in my pocket. Sometimes camera was open or some other app and I didn’t realize it. As I walked, different apps were opening or calls being made. Also, will watch your videos no matter what you are doing. I recognize not every day is super exciting or maybe the content isn’t up my alley but that is okay. We are all different human beings with different interests. This channel isn’t just for me! Thanks for all you do to entertain us all!
couldn't you turn on FOCUS where you don't get any calls or text notifications. Then you can set your parents as emergency contacts which will allow your phone to ring regardless of "silent / focus" mode. As far as canceling calling out, perhaps turn off cellular service, turn of wifi calling & live on wifi only data.
Looks like a very healthy selection of foodstuffs! I wish I could go all day without eating, but I wake up hungry, lol! Looking forward to your road trip, just saying the words "road trip" makes me happy! Just came back from one in Oregon and already want to leave again. At my new job I drive a Gem E6 around sometimes and it is a cool little machine. I see why you enjoy yours so much.

I suggest putting a passcode on your phone so that way you have to type in a number to enter your phone

Maybe it's just me, but I think you may be under estimating how popular your international travel will be. Honestly I'm looking forward to it!

The reason you but dial people is because you either have it unlocked or you have no lock on your iPhone at all. Nobody has ever had this issue.
people have this issue all the time lol He is just forgetting to turn his phone off before he puts it in his pocket and that is what everybody does.
Wrong know it all. My iPhone 14 was the worst at pocket dials and it was off and locked. I think it’s an always on screen issue.

Yea, always-on screen might be an issue. Call Apple Support. Its free!
Also Look in ”Settings>Display & Brightness>Auto-Lock” and set to 30 seconds. See how that goes.

Try this: when you slip the phone into your pocket make sure the screen is facing away from your body.

You’re to be commended for your Rays loyalty. I’ve commented before that it’s easy to follow a team when they’re winning. You know you’re a true fan when they suck and you still follow them. Hopefully your road trip will include a visit to your Sister's place and a day trip with her to an amusement park, those videos are always fun. Also, if you do pickup a printer for the homestead I have been very happy with the Brother brand. Over the last 10 years I have had one big one in my office and a much smaller one (under $100) in my home and they have performed so great and work so well wirelessly.
Might already been said but, you might see if the “raise to wake” feature is active. (And disable it) That causes butt dialing issues sometimes

Make sure you file for homestead exemption on your house if you haven't already done so. It can save you some money on your property taxes.
The best thing you can do is get a good phone case that has a door on it. That will stop it if you like that kind of cases Addim.

Turn off raise to wake in settings and make sure you turn off the screen before putting it in your pocket. You can use a lock screen pass code for an extra layer too
Adam (not sure if this will fix your phone problem) go to settings / focus / do not disturb. You’ll have a page that lets you allow notifications from certain people you choose, certain apps you choose, and / or all of your contacts. Maybe this will help?
Hey Adam, have you tried using do not disturb mode on the phone instead airplane mode.
i dont know if adam could stand to stay at home too long, but being a creature of habbit, he may develope a habbit fairly quickly, of only wearing a long brown housecoat with orange trim, and only eating cereal

Adam, try flipping your phone around in your pocket so the screen is facing away from your leg. That helped be with pocket dialing issues in the past since it could be your leg through the pocket tapping the screen a bit

Try going in your setting and see if it has a axidential touch setting and turn it on. It keeps you from doing that while your phone is in your pocket.

Yo - just lock your phone and make sure your phone is set to facial recognition, once locked and in a pocket or wherever it would not have an opportunity to call without being unlocked first.

Adam regarding the phone butt dialing problem, simply create a Lock Screen pass code and you should never have that problem again. Unless you put your phone back in your pocket without locking it, I just don’t see how it would be possible. Go to settings and it should be under Face ID & Passcode
You live in such a beautiful place. Your videos are always fun and interesting. Neither of my parents can travel with me anymore so it's great you can still take yours away with you. I work in a dark office, with big old furniture and it's always depressing. You're travel videos give me joy to watch.
I have that problem with my iPhone when it’s hot/humid out. I just started facing my phone screen away from my leg in my pocket and don’t seem to have any problems when I do that, but it’s hard to get into the habit.
Sat in those rocking chairs for about 2 hrs one day in January. Met some nice people who were also rocking away. We all got our passports (2 renewals, 2 new) in less than 2 weeks. They are processing them quickly nowadays.
Phone issue - what worked for me was making sure the screen is locked before putting in my pocket. Sometimes camera was open or some other app and I didn’t realize it. As I walked, different apps were opening or calls being made. Also, will watch your videos no matter what you are doing. I recognize not every day is super exciting or maybe the content isn’t up my alley but that is okay. We are all different human beings with different interests. This channel isn’t just for me! Thanks for all you do to entertain us all!

Not sure about iPhone but my android has a lock screen on it so it doesn't butt dial.
My phone used to constantly pocket-dial too. I had to just get a flip-front case that covers the screen while in my pocket, and that solved it.
couldn't you turn on FOCUS where you don't get any calls or text notifications. Then you can set your parents as emergency contacts which will allow your phone to ring regardless of "silent / focus" mode. As far as canceling calling out, perhaps turn off cellular service, turn of wifi calling & live on wifi only data.
