I wasn’t aware that the fountain had been replaced, so now I have to do some personal research, due to the fact that in 1958 I was in a photo with my mom, at that fountain….then 47years later, we took another photo in front of the fountain again. Having been born in Orange County, I tend to have a connection that I can’t seem to break, and I always want to go back and walk the plaza area. Thanks for showing it yet again, so that I can relive those moments.

You were very near my old apartment right off Santiago Park. It was right on the other side of the railroad tracks near where you were standing. There is a tennis court between the 22 freeway and the tracks. It is called the Aspens, awesome place in the late 80’s. We used to have the Wild Parrots in the trees around the complex. I went to Knotts Berry Farm during school vacation week February 1972. We came from Cape Cod on a 747 that had a piano bar on board! The Rays 💥 are 3-1 I believe since Adam stepped in the lucky poop in Baltimore!

Nice to see you back in town. Knotts is cool. My girlfriend and I don’t have passes to any parks right now. At one point we had all four of the big parks but things are different nowadays. The parks seem to be in “ultra-greed mode” right now and I don’t want any part of it. It’s been a nice break from the parks and we are planning other trips now. We are going to New York next month. It for a theme park or a concert or anything. Just to getaway 😊

It’s amazing that you can plan, film, edit and upload, your postings, on a daily schedule! And you always seem so unaffected, by this vigorous pace. Most TH-camr’s are lucky to do one, or two postings a week,and here you are day after day, year after year. Plus you have to deal with the opinionated naysayers, who are never happy.
My parents met at Knott’s. My father worked in security at the time. He told me story of a fight that had happened. There was blood involved. A lot of blood. Apparently, Cordelia came out and started hosing things down before the cops could process the scene because she didn’t want the park to close.
