Now I can see the beautiful heart of this Mirage!! Absolutely beautiful!! I think building a Mirage like this is fun & the result brings a lot of good emotions!!😊 Posting this also to my page cause don't wanna loose the video, I collect all outstanding videos about Japanese cars!!😊✈️🇯🇵🏁☘️
Props to this guy I’m in SoCal and I had a 97 Mirage Sedan with the same swap and some Godspeed coil overs but I found a whole evo head instead of the Kia head that I was looking for and it had the stock 20g ran an aem f/ic and made 342 at the wheels but I had 3 different colored doors and mazda protege speed wheels lol. Black primered hood and a black primer trunk with a gloss white license plate surrround. But it hurt a lot of cars feelings when they couldn’t keep up. It looked like a hoopty but that was the point at the time, of course I got it painted and a tired blew coming down from big bear and wrecked into the side of the mountain and it was a total. :/ super clean build though man.
in australia thats a Lancer CE series which ran 96-2003 for the coupe and 96-2000 for the sedan(it went too CG) and the hatch was still called a mirage and yes that front lip is exclusively australian delivered but people still think its aftermarket and the headlights are also in australia from factory from 99 onward
@@0ngy697 over here we even had major factory's for them our some are done nicely but alot of them are riced by broke peeps ($200 eBay kits, homemade exhausts)
I remember in PUERTO RICO🇵🇷 the new 1997 MITSUBISHI TÉCNICA EVOLUTION. Those little cars are fast. $15,000 out the door. Almost everyone at my job had one.
In Puerto Rico that’s the Mirage Technica LS option has sunroof, all the side skirts and bumper lip Rally Art intake red seat belts, and rally art stabilization bars
Can any one tell mea were the transmission dip stick is on a mitsubishi mirage 1997 stick shift #pleassssse i been lookin for a long time help mea on this matter anyone 💯🙏thanks

You purchased a part from a "seller" on eBay.....it's not a "Ebay" part.....my turbo purchased from Ebays website was SOLD by JHM....2 years 25psi still going strong!
Would probably end up costing nearly 10x more in parts and labour then what a mirage costs itself which seems a little silly considering evo>mirage in the first place lol
Paul O right?!! I bought my 1.8ls in 2008 for $1800 and I've put 150,000 miles on it + modifications and it still runs great! 38+mpg and a lot of fun:)
Paul O nothing to crazy, intake, full exhaust, cat and header. Msd ignition on e85. It runs really good, I live in Colorado so it's my mountain cruiser . Last time I ran it at the quarter mile it ran a 15.1... it's just a good daily driver, I can't get rid of it
I like the lack of after market mods. Everything is straight mitsubishi sourced. Good call.
Dude needs to learn how to drive stick properly. I'd be pissed if he drove my car like that.
@@thegenerousdegenerate9395 well it wasn’t his car, maybe he wanted to be gentle
I love how the owner kept it clean and used mostly OEM parts. Seems like a great guy
LockTest thanks!
@@PaulO0845 hey you got a nice build, by the way where did you get the Japanese spec bumper and bumper lights
I just got my first car last week and its exactly like this. Old but gold car. Amazing
Bruh there are so many of those in Puerto Rico like literally you see one on every corner. Nice car you have btw.
Mitsubishieros✌
Technica!!
The car is so clean! Still looks like it’s dealer sold.

Mitsubishi should make mirage coupes again. They’d sell a lot more
Great video man!! Props to that Mirage owner, That car is sweet!

This dude really takes good care of his Mirage 😊 I hope all peeps are like that 😜

Yeh in Australia we had lots of these mr lancers the 1.8 was sooooo shit the 1.5 Lancer engine went harder 🤣
Bruuh
The only good 4G15 is the turbo version everything else dog water no offense.
Haya basis
That is a lancer ? Mirage is the hatch version
In japan also and probably every other country it was sold in

Here in the u.s. they were sold under mirage and we never got the hatchback :(
I have a mirage DE and it's not a hatch. It looks like his minus the thing on the trunk which was an option
