If I can ever find the time to edit the clips together I have some low quality video of my 1/4 drag passes. I wouldn't mind just filming the car do a pull or two on the street, but I don't want to get in trouble with the authorities haha. Gotta be careful!
Ah nice you have a Lancer GSR! Those cars are awesome. I spent a ton of time looking for a secondary storage box (airbag delete glovebox) from one of those for my gauges to go in. Was so worth the hunt when I found one! That car uses a modified Evo 3 rear end design. I actually recommend most guys who want to go AWD use the rear end from a CM5A because it's much simpler to accomplish on a FWD Mirage than what I did swapping floorpans. Your 4G93T is a great platform to mod! I'd see what you can get out of it! I've seen one with over 700hp before.
I have a 97 mirage with the evo 5 swap about to get tuned this wk just got my onmi power 4 barato sensor but with bigger turbo 70/80 and a shit load of goodies I should be around the 5’s hp let’s see but she’s looking good
hey man. just bought an 03 lancer a few months back. im getting bored with it being bone stock and fwd. this winter me and my buddy are ripping apart the whole thing and an outlander with a 4g69 awd. I also live near Indianapolis. any way I could get ahold of you so I could get some tips and tricks on the build would be awesome. heard everything is bolt in if I go with a 2004 outlander. all id need is wiring and some simple fab work. I cant wait to start the build. I know it wont be one of a kind like your car (because my swap is pretty common) but I thought about keeping it n/a for a year or so until I can build up the motor and diff. please get ahold of me in some way possible.
I want to do the same thing. You can use an 2.0 4g63 turbo outlander, its basically an evo engine with a smaller turbo. We can share different infos if you want. Just find me on instagram: raymond.raay
How much does something like this cost? I can see from your upload history that this has been a long running project. I drive a mirage that I want to keep for sentimental reasons and I would like to do something very similar to what you have here. Any advice on the best place to start?
Lots of sheetmetal work! The front fenders are three different fenders cut and welded together to make all the body lines work and I also have a sedan (evo 4) radiator support welded in place of the coupe one. After that the hood and bumper just bolt on!
@@AlchEm1st88 yeah I was wondering because I live in aus and there are only 2 or 3 evo kitted coupes with genuine parts but they are all evo 6(i think, it's the one with the same body but has flared arches) and the evo4 look was just made for the coupe imo looks clean and I was thinking of doing a 2.4mivec with itb n/a and just a fwd cause we need modification certificate plates that approve the car for road so a turbo swap and awd is just too much hassle but idk I may end up doing a different car all together as I just got the car I have now too find its got more things wrong with it than a person in a mental institution
I'm running a USDM Evo 8 ECU. I was running the Lancer ECU with a Tephra Evo map flashed over; but discovered that the Lancer ECU didn't have an output for a boost controller. I ran on a manual boost controller for a couple weeks until I sourced an Evo 8 ECU to run my 3 port boost controller. The Lancer ECU is a great option if you want to go the mbc route though!
AlchEm1st88 Thanks for your reply, I'm wondering did you ever have an issue of not being able to read from the evo 8/lancer ecu? I'm thinking obd port wiring or something may be incorrect. Using a normal mirage harness, evo 5 works fine, evo 8/lancer gets no response from ecu!
I've had that issue before yeah. In my case it was an issue with the pin receptacles in my cars OBDII port not contacting the pins in my Tactrix cable. I had to pry the pins out so they would make contact and then I didn't have any more issues. That said, your issue sounds different since it's ECU specific. The ECU pinouts are a bit different (make sure you get your repin correct!), but the reflash pin I believe is the same (pin 79 I think?), so your issue shouldn't be wiring unless your ECU isn't getting power.
Haha well I also daily drive a 12 WRX hatch, have a 97 Legacy rallyx car, and an 03 Galant 4G64 DOHC turbo project besides this car, so I own two Subarus nd two Mitsubishis!
@@rp17rionda Ha I wish man! The Legacy and Galant were crazy cheap lol. Bought the Galant for a hundred bucks actually lol. Pulled it out of a garden and rebuilt the engine a few years ago. My wife dailies it now, but it's gonna be her Winter beater and the Galant will be her fun Summer car. Probably gonna have a video about the Galant soon actually.
Yeah haha I own the white Outback and the blue GR WRX in the background as well as the IV! I'm also a Subaru Ambassador so I get lots of free gear from them.
man I've been trying to find a yt creator that does this car. planning it for my first car. keep going man!
7 years of hard work my friend :,)

Emmet Ocampo get an evo 5 front clip and it will look like an evo 5 and then just the rear trunk, bumper side skirts and tail lights
Why the dipstick need a cable tie?
looks like a karin sultan rs from gta v
Sultan RS is a 22B STi, but I can see it in this case
I'm about 6 months late, but...long time, no see! :D
Hola amigo tiene motro de evo 4 y la caja de velocidades es traccion delantera o 4x4 gracias
Es AWD y sí tiene el 4G63
How did u convert the front end?
How'd you go about fitting that more squared front end does the bumper fit?

Which ecu did you end up using?
I'm currently converting to the lancer 4g94 ecu
