if the foam is from a proper material, it would be 1000k times better than a k&n. we have similar filters for industrial air-conditioning units that are cheap and filter greatly
I have to change my carbs but this seems easier I’ll hopefully be Able to steer the bike after changing the filter ; which one on amazon prime should I get ?
Have you had any performance issues since removing the air box? I was told to leave the air box because things like wind would affect performance. True?
@@micksterboone4517 I really miss those days! I haven't done a trip like that in a while. I love my 250 man, its a fun bike. I bought the K&N air filter because of your video. I also have a JET KIT that I bought from Factory Pros and I also have some exhaust that I need to install. Doing this mod though requires MAJOR jetting, which I hear, its a PAIN. But at the very least, for now, I can just do the air filter and see how the bike runs. I did a highf low air filter on a Kymco 150 and boy did it make a huge difference lol

Work on a 02?
LMFAO mine looks just like yours 😂
I guess that 2007 had no velocity stacks or maybe those 2 plastic tubes are an antique version of stock velocity stacks.😮

True?
The airbox isn't removed, the filter is just a different design. I own an '04 and just put a K&N in it.
@@micksterboone4517 Have you installed new jets on your carbs?
@@smileygabe22 No, and it runs great. I just got home after a 100 mi. ride on it.

@@micksterboone4517 what filter did you put it?
Lmao I'm pretty sure this is attached directly into the carburetor.
That thing looks MINT
These are pods, correct your video title.
K&N no quicker way to kill your bike !
It’s a myth
