No one is upset about your opinion on these suits or anyone with similar criticisms because they're in good faith. The problem with the conversation around these suits and this movie as a whole is the toxic Snyder cult that hate on everything and follow it up with saying that this movie will flop and Gunn should be fired.
It's past time to blame the large amount of criticism of the film on Snyder cultists. It goes way beyond that. Superman is getting trashed across the board and friendly podcaster like Film Junkee are starting to have doubts. His comment on the Gunn suits "meh". John Campea's panel is also expressing doubts about the film though John remains on board.
It’s not a cult thing Zack actual made cool suits and the rest followed the trend even Black Adam knew what’s up it was a standard but when you give superman panties it kills the standard for the rest
yes the general theory is that Terrific, GL, and Hawkgirl are sponsored heroes of Maxwell Lord which is why they have all have a "uniform" of sorts that all look similar with a kind of plain and somewhat dull "corporate" aesthetic compared to Superman's more vibrant appearance

@@codybischoff1010 lmao u can criticize one aspect while enjoying other aspects. I think Snyders Superman suit is better but his movies are literal trash. Expand your tiny brain lmao.
Basically, 'Lord Tech' in this Superman movie will be what 'Voight International' is to The Boys. Presumably, they will have a 'team' name, but we just don't yet know what it will be. They also wouldn't willingly work for a villain, so at this point in the movie, Maxwell Lords true intentions and schemes haven't been revealed yet, and hes simply a wealthy industrialist who owns a team of superheroes the way a company or entrepreneur can own a sports team.
I think every major tech corporation in the DCU has its own superhero team, except for Wayne Tech. If we assume that LuthorCorp is trying to compete against LordTech, we can assume that Maxwell Lord will play a minor antagonist role for both Superman and Lex Luthor.
My theory is that Hawkgirl and Guy Gardiner have been around for a while. And, similar to Incredibles 2, superheroes in this universe have started to become disliked in the public eye, so Maxwell Lord steps in to sponsor these heroes so they can win back the trust of the public, not realizing he has sinister motives. Enter Superman, a hero who stands on his own, who stand for truth, justice and, well, you know. By the end of this movie I think Superman will help the other heroes remember why they started doing this job and inspire them to don their original costumes from the glory days
People lack critical thinking these days, it’s obvious that Superman is going to be portrayed as a true hero and he’s going to inspire these shill superheroes to be more heroic and then they will get their real suits, think about it more than just surface level people
I agree my only question is Hawkgirl. What is her backstory? Because if she is Alien or Ancient magic whatever she was wearing prior to Lordtech had to be better than that.
@@t.r.1442 he's not going to explain every backstory. Even Rocket didn't get a backstory til his 6th appearance. Groot never did. Remember King Shark? It might be a one sentence explanation "she's from space or Egypt or something I don't know"
I think a lot of us hate the GL and HW outfits because they don’t look like the comics. If that’s how they looked in the comics, I don’t think as many people would be upset. Fingers crossed that they are influenced by Superman to quit working for LordTech and be themselves with their comic accurate outfits like Superman has.
That is exactly it. Everyone likes the Mr. Terrific design. GL and HW have basically the same costume as Mr. Terrific. So if their suits are objectively bad, then shouldn’t we have the same problem with Mr. Terrific?
Those people can't handle when things don't go as they expect to, they don't know how to handle frustration. It's obvious that those suits aren't definitive, and that their looks are based on Terrific's because he's probably the leader of the team. It's also clear that Superman is going to inspire them to rebel against Lord, which literally means they won't be wearing those suits in future projects.
Thank you for this video Boba. These suits are temporary, in my opinion. I’m sure either Mr. Terrific/suits pre-Maxwell Lord will make their appearances/mainstays
The suit backlash is dumb because people hating clearly see the Lordtech logo on them signaling they were made by Lord to be more corporate. Meaning he probably funds the team and to make way for the JLI, while Superman wears his own distinct vibrant suit with its own identity. This is obviously a narrative decision, and the most clearly overt visual storytelling Gunn has done. People can’t possibly believe that when we see Hal and Jon for the first time, they’ll be wearing the suit Guy has on. No, they’ll be wearing their corps suits.
@@wibblesmcscribbles3018 Because Superman wouldn’t be funded by Lord in the movie. Which is why he doesn’t have one. Never said his suit had one in the first place. Read. 😒
I feel like I can adjust to the LordTech suits and why they are like that eventually, but that doesnt change what it looks like and its not exactly what I wished for
These suits not being what the heroes should look like is their entire point, HG and GL won't be using them for the entire run of the DCU, what we saw from the leaked footage shows a very clear narrative of how they aren't acting like the heroes they should be and Superman is way more popular than them because of that, they'll have their comic accurate suits by the end of the movie or their next appearance at the latest
I really don’t get the drama with these suits, they’re basically all the Mr. Terrific suit made into a Team Uniform. The implied context makes it perfectly clear to me what these suits are and I think they accomplish that perfectly. I like the material on Mr. Terrific so I think it works on the others too. I get and respect Boba’s specific points but I don’t get a lot of the overall criticism being thrown at them
I think the suits are not supposed to be as appealing in comparison to the Superman suit. Superman is supposed to stick out among these “heroes” so I think it’s best for people to wait for the movie because things look way different in camera and the context of the story is also a big part of it.
This won't be their final siut. This is more of a uniform because they work for lod tech. They will get their comic accurate suits maybe before the end of the movie.
@@eliovertime Great ways to call back to the lore. We dont need it to be called Terrifics or JLI to understand the point of state and corproate sponsored heroes.
@@sygnwav_syndicate Agree 100%. I believe we won’t get the JLA just yet. I think it’ll be “The Terrifics,” owned by Maxwell Lord, and led by Mr. Terrific. I think the color scheme alone gives that away. I see the transition into the JLA after the Booster Gold TV show.
When you let the big guy wear undies what do you expect the rest to do , this is what I loved about the mcu they made the suite cool not the comic book accurate stuff they made them better while trying to stick to the comic look but not too much , cause Guy definitely doesn’t need to have that hair it can be different
are we still arguing the suit from leak photos? is this the first superhero film ever made? cmon guys just wait for the final product... You guys did this for The Batman Pattinson Suit and turns out amazing in the movie so just wait...
I feel like the point of the sort of "stock suits" is that it helps Superman standout more as a different kind of hero. And since it's likely a reverse Kingdom Come story, having the other heroes leaving their corporate sponsors at the end of the movie and donning their more iconic suits will make for a cool reveal.
I seriously hate "uniform unitard clothes as superhero costumes" aesthetic. say what you will about Black Adam, Hawkman looked like a badass, and most importantly, Hawkman.
Thankyou ❤ leather ages well and doesn't look fake it adds warmth and realism ESPECIALLY on camera close up...Indiana Jones? Star wars so many leather suits in the classics 🎉
The suits always change whether they’re the best looking suits or the worst looking suits. The suits are gonna always change. We seen too many comic book movies, and sequels to real not to realize that.
These suits are clearly a meta commentary on the OG X-Men leather suits. We're not SUPPOSED to love them. They exist to contrast Superman. Same with the Military heroes who all wear black etc. These suits are purposely generic in order to contrast the unique qualities of Superman.
I think the reason the costumes are designed the way they are is because of Maxwell Lord. He controls the team and has them wearing his logo. He's assembled a group of superheroes and put them in uniform. Maybe by the end of the movie, they'll switch to their original costumes and become part of something greater, perhaps with the help of Superman, showing them a better way.
Think this movie will be lighthearted with great storytelling, which is needed in the superhero movie genre these days. I think the suits reflect the whimsy of this movie. Hope it's executed well.
Honestly, people keep criticizing this movie when it really doesn't deserve the amount of hate it's receiving. Sure, I may not be the biggest fan of some of the suit designs for Guy Gardner and Hot Girl, but I think they work in the context of this movie. I like the colors and I think they make sense for Guy Gardner's uniform to have his own logo on his chest instead of the Green Lantern logo, since he's part of that Corporation in this movie. That doesn't mean he won't change his uniform in the future, and the Green Lantern logo may appear on his chest later on. It's possible. I feel like this is going to be another situation like with Robert Pattinson's Batman, where the behind-the-scenes set photos didn't look good at all, but the suit ended up looking great in the movie and trailer. So, I refuse to judge the suits solely based on set photos until I see the special effects and CGI added in. That's where the suits will truly shine. As for the Superman suit in David Cronenberg's movie, I personally like the bright and vibrant colors. I'm a fan of the New 52 and Kingdom Come Superman, and this suit seems to be a combination of both. It's bright and hopeful, which fits the character's color scheme. I'm eagerly waiting for a trailer or for the movie to come out, where all the suits will have CGI and special effects added. That's when we'll see them in action and they'll look good. I still have faith in this movie and I believe it will do well. Have faith, everyone.
Yeah, that's very possible. I'm just doing my best to be optimistic about it. Because Superman is like my second-favorite superhero of all time. And I really hope for the best for this movie.
Mr. Terrific is like iron man but under maxwells control and superman convinces them to get rid of lord tech. Individualism vs corporate agendas. I totally agree
The only way I'll be on board with Gunn's new Super Friends if later in the movie their outfits look more mature than this campy look! Maybe Superman's suit is Lorde Tech as well and once they break away from Maxwell's grip and form the new Justice League! By act 3 of this movie if that doesn't happen I'm done with Superman all together! No lie Gunn was a perfect fit for the MCU but turning the DCEU to DCU is only saying he wants to be back at Marvel!
The costumes and the team IS obviously a mix of The Terrific’s, The conglomerate & JLI all ran by Maxwell Lord. These will be tightened up in post as well and it will probably be disbanded by the end of the movie. Gunn is going for esthetics in this film (we were also told each film will have its own). Look at all the muted colors in the clothes of all the extras, so I can imagine this is all done purposefully to make Sups stand apart from not only the people of earth but also the “hero’s” of earth as well. I could also see the color tones changing as the film progresses and the people’s eyes are opened to a new perspective. Just a month ago we were all complaining about the lack of info about this movie and Gunn has already stated “No major spoilers would be filmed out in public”. So, none of us know the full vision of this film and won’t until it’s released. Just chill and enjoy the fact we have a Director who cares about DC characters, their stories and wants to bring them to the screen. At least we know he’s not completely destroying who they are, only to justify a sick twisted version of “Gods” he wants to project onto us(he who shall not be named).
You guys are looking far too much into this movie , you want to know every single detail before it even comes out to the point where you won’t be excited to see it because you’ve already had everything revealed to you. It’s a movie , it’s not like the Bible is being rewritten, first people complain about Superman’s suit being too detailed with lines and the material , then you complain that you wish the other suits were a bit more complex , it’s the very first movie we all know that through the sequels and as these movies progress the suits will be updated.
This move is still so early lol and people are judging based off a screen shot? That hasn’t been edited? I don’t understand this. James loves the source material and I am so excited for his vision. And I am not a Superman fan, but I am actually super stoked to take my son to the movies for his first movie in theater
There's quite a lot of close up photos now where you can see the design choice they've gone for with the uniforms and execution of material they've used, and that's more than enough for people to get a first impression, despite not seeing the suits in motion. You know me, I'm looking forward to the movie but I'm not going to pretend that people can't form opinions on designs of a suit that are seen even in set photos. I always say to reserve some judgement, but people can use their eyes to see if they 'vibe with a design' so to speak.
what you talking about put put official pics of superman suit. it looks cheap. plus superman looked like he didnt jave to rush save city being attacked. so you think thats good impression?
@@JosephHandibodeso if the suit look cheap superman is just a farm boy not iron man the suit dont make superman superman bro people just crying to cry the movie will come out no matter wat and the general audience will have the last say if this movie work are not.
My theory for Guy Gardner’s hair being more blonde is that maybe he’s dyeing it or changing it some other way and it’ll end up more red headed later on
Suits never really mattered to me what was important for me was the actor and how they can show that they ARE these comic books heroes/villains having the suit look cool is just a bonus. We also have to remember this is just the beginning these characters might switch suits later on
If you look carefully...Superman suit follows the same design with the shoulder pad design..so it's safe to assume that Superman is part of that Max Lord team.
What if the team is called justice lords . Or justice lords America , or just justice lord association so it’s not “of America “ and they eventually leads into justice league international
I hate Guys, specifically because Guys ring creates his suit by default. This means in order to adjust it to look like everyone else Guy had to consciously choose to change his default suit which goes against Guys character
I was so excited to see Guy Gardner and more importantly, see Nathan play a live action, Green Lantern, but honestly, after that was revealed I just can’t 😂 like you cover the belt, buckle and the shoulders and no one will know that’s a green lantern lol I would put money on it
You’re right Boba the heroes in this moment are doing what needs to be done, which costs money. By the 2nd movie, I think we’ll have a traditional JL/JLU situation where Batman is introduced, and Bruce Wayne's unlimited resources are used to fund everyone’s activities.
While I do agree that the inspiration of the team is a mix of the conglomerate, the terrifics and JLI, the logo on their chest makes it likely they'll go by the name JLI ( if referenced at all).
I’d be cool with them keeping the Lordtech jackets but starting to wear their own individual suits underneath later on in the movie. I think that’s a good compromise.
The suits are uniform and also this is not the Hawkgirl from the animated series. She is different from the red haired Hawkgirl who usually accompanies Hawkman. You gotta see the suits in action. The white on Green Laterns suite will pop with the aura of the power ring. Hawkgirl needs her wings to really see it. Same with the Engineer who will probably be metallic on film. I don't even want to talk about Metamorpho with the blue guy stand in.
I think this is exactly what James Gunn wants. I do not think for one second that these suits are the only ones we will see. Criticise Gunn all you like but hard core comic experts are working on this film and these cheesy suits are in my opinion, a build up to more. As iconic as Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl are, there has to be a good reason why they look this way at this stage. From a storytelling point of view, if this is so, it makes good sense. Perhaps Hawkgirl and Guy Gardner ditch Lods sponsorship and we will get them in their comic book glory. For me, it's clear that there is so much more to this story than what set pics reveal. Given we know jack about the story, I will sit back and enjoy what we see and allow these guys to do their work.
Here is the deal, the movie hasn’t even hit yet. We all should hope that the story and the acting are on point vs subjective opinions about how things look or not look.
About the suit. We don't need everything to look as great the 1st time. It's happened in countless hero movies before. If the story is that good then for Gunn the suit might be in the least of his concerns or there could be a very good reason for the underwear. Everything is important but story telling is probably his main focus. Superman and the other characters assuming they will be alive can wear a different suit in future films. Its funny cause the underwear is old fashioned. So in a way it could be that the world sees him as old fashioned not just by the way he acts but by his appearance. I could see it work to differentiate him from the rest of the heroes. Just my humble theory/perspective.
I mean, do folks ever use common sense? If you're getting mad at these suits then idk wtf to tell you. It's so VERY OBVIOUSLY meant to look uniformly dull and familiar. There's no friggin way that is Guy Gardner's uniform of his own choosing. Use your noggin, people, please.
Although the design being a uniform IS deliberate (obviously).. People can prefer a different execution of materials and design in the uniform itself, although getting mad would be over the top I agree. However, those who dislike it aren't invalid in their takes - they're not taking issue with the plot story/context as to why the characters are wearing uniforms, but rather the aesthetic of the LordTech uniform could be perhaps approached with a better material etc, even with them eventually getting something better down the line that reflects their comic accurate suits.. That doesn't negate how people can be like "ah yeah well, the LordTech uniform could still be cooler", y'know? And that's completely fair enough imo.
@@BobaTalks yeah, I agree to a large extent. I'm more speaking to the people that are deliberately choosing to focus on the suits without any context whatsoever. It's cool to have an opinion on the aesthetic, as I personally do not love the looks myself. But I think that is the point. Corporate America is about streamlining and efficiency. It doesn't call for uniqueness, as that leads to more expenses and more individualism. Even if I'm way off and that somehow is not the underlying factor, we can't really make a judgement on why they have this certain uniform aesthetic without seeing them within the context of the story being told. Even myself, who doesn't love the look of the GL and Hawkgirl suit, can't really form an opinion one way or the other without seeing how they fit within the film. I think getting mad at how a suit with a giant corporate logo slapped on the front looks is kind of silly, as it's pretty obvious to me that that's a part of the story.
I have mixed feelings about all the suits we've seen so far, (except Mr. Terrific's) but I'll wait until the film comes out. I'm hopeful, but cautiously optimistic because I'm 50/50 on everything James Gunn has worked on.
While I’m not head over heels for the hawkgirl and guy suit (I like the mask and mace, haircut) I do believe it is a purpose for them. As long as it explains and helps the movie move along it is alright with me
I could see them tossing the corporate suits in the trash at the end of the movie, maybe after seeing Superman on the TV, leaving the door open for them to have comic accurate costumes next time they appear
When it comes to the "Lord Tech" suits, I'll just reiterate this point. I don't think we're meant to like it. If that's the case, then suits are having the intended effect. Similar to the point Boba, you made about the distinct looks between Clark and Superman. You can see how most ppl would look at this Clark and not see him as Superman, and vice versa. It means the intention is working. Thats my best guess anyway. 😅
Look ……. Everyone needs to use their head here . 1) D.C. has a different Mythos than Marvel.2) looking at the set up and costumes the fans are getting a Live action Bruce Tim’s Justice League unlimited as a Backdrop. As this is the easiest way to introduce the audience to the overall all DC universe . Which is true . Sony would be smart to take a lesson . Drop the people into it . 3) the Superman story everyone is going to get is “All Star Superman “ Grant Morrison’s Seminal Piece of Art. Everyone is being dropped into the Superman’s Last days and getting a Review of his life of triumph.

My theory is in the movie Mr terrific, Green Lantern (Guy Gardner) and Hawkgirl have the lord tech suits and by the end Superman will have inspired them to have there own looks maybe at the end they build the hall of Justice and form the justice league
Hi Boba, agree with your theory that the theme of this movie would be that Superman will inspire the other 'gods & monsters" to regain their individual identity. After all, I believe Gunn's original title was Superman LEGACY.
Weather we get new comic accurate suits to replace the LordTech suits or not… one thing to remember is that I HIGHLY doubt any of them will be main JLA members we follow through the story of the DCU. We’ll probably only see Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific a couple more times as cameos or in the final battle of a JLA movie. Then I doubt we’ll see Guy again until maybe the GL MAX show. A lot of people do know the characters because of the old animated shows, so Hawkgirl for example is already more popular than the GOTG before that film came out. But regardless of us the fans. We’ll probably focus on the core JLA members.
If you don’t like the GL and HG ‘uniform’ then it’s job done. That’s the goal, I honestly think you’re not meant to like the uniforms… as it’s a Maxwell Lord uniformed creation. I imagine; as the film progresses, in a reverse kingdom come influenced storyline, superman will inspire heroes to be individuals… to be themselves. By the end of the film; they’ll appear in their true costumes. Costumes we’ll like. Hopefully!
Hmm... a reverse Kingdom Come, hadn't thought of that. I mean Civil War is kind of Marvel's Kingdom Come and some theorized that this film might be similar to Captain America Civil War and BvS. The three comics that seem to be perhaps the biggest influences seem to be Kingdom Come (logo), New Frontier (perhaps villain in whole Gods and Monsters arc?), and All-Star Superman (perhaps themes?). If Superman Legacy is Kingdom Come in the reverse then would the Engineer be Gogg counterpart? And Ultraman be Luthor's Shazam counterpart? A Nuke going off is sort of the big thing in Kingdom Come (killing the majority of all meta humans), now Superman against Nukes didn't go that well for Quest for Peace so I don't know that's a sellable theme for a Superman film or not. I do love the JLI era of the comics and if Gunn can emulate that era of DC comics than that's pretty sweet. Another interesting what if story from the 90s was the nail, what the JLA would have looked like if Superman wasn't around, and it basically turned into the BOYS. Likewise, in Flashpoint, we learned that without Superman the Amazons and the Atlanteans would have started WWIII. So those are important themes to play with if presenting a world familiar with superheroes already and then introducing Supes to the mix.
What I don't understand is how everyone loved Mr Terrifics suit but absolutely found everything about Kendra's & Guy's repulsive....even cheap. I still say wait until post or trailer before making judgement. Most important thing is what can we surmise from the set goodies we are getting?
I like them; they are taking the role of the Corparte suit douches. And the suits reflect that. I mean look at SUPERMAN he legit takes the time to talk w. the kiddos and the others just blow through the croud. I enjoy the setup.
And in those set photos, the design could be observed by my eyeballs and I liked them. It is possible to not be too keen on core design execution, even from a set photo.
@@BobaTalks I am just saying lets see what the suits look like in action. I remember the internet ripping Robert apart for his body type and Reeves suit design. @@davidalexander-dhs-baltimo2708 I understand what you're saying, and I have no doubt that the sheen of the screen will obviously be better than set photos from a photographers camera. I just also think that people can form an opinion on the suits to an extent, if deciding whether they vibe with the design they went for. It's like how if you look at the Superman suit set photos, you absolutely can look at the design and be like 'I love that they have a large crest with the Kingdom Come symbol' or 'I don't like it that much, I wish they used a classical S for the design'. @@BobaTalks I agree the classic Superman logo would be the best but then Gunn would basically be giving us an updated version of Christopher Reeves suit. I don't envy the suit design team. I hope I'm wrong but I'm not expecting much. Maybe we will be surprised like we were with the 2nd Suicide Squad film. But as of right now I'm not feeling it.
What Is That
No one is upset about your opinion on these suits or anyone with similar criticisms because they're in good faith.
@@randyodonnell7579 you're lying
It’s not a cult thing Zack actual made cool suits and the rest followed the trend even Black Adam knew what’s up it was a standard but when you give superman panties it kills the standard for the rest
yes the general theory is that Terrific, GL, and Hawkgirl are sponsored heroes of Maxwell Lord which is why they have all have a "uniform" of sorts that all look similar with a kind of plain and somewhat dull "corporate" aesthetic compared to Superman's more vibrant appearance
I get but do they have to look that terrible 😂 I’m hoping hawk girl and guy Gardner get real suits at some point in the movie because if this is it 🚮
Not really a theory, they each have a Lord Tech logo on their chests.
@@bdukes8075 of course they will, characters evolve... or do y'all really think they're gonna have the same suits for the ENTIRETY of the DCU?
@@thefreerocketman5777 you saying of course they will like you work in production 😂 and even if they do doesn’t mean the suit will get much better if they saw these suits and thought they were a good idea. @@bdukes8075 you don't have to be a genius to know the characters will evolve and have better suits, it's called character development, something Gunn is known for being good at. i’m not the biggest fan of the suits but I do feel we need to wait for the final touches they’ll add during post production before we completely write them off
Agreed cuz a lot of times they look way better in the actual movie

@erikwebber6038
thanks for your explaining
He will bring them Hope
People lack critical thinking these days, it’s obvious that Superman is going to be portrayed as a true hero and he’s going to inspire these shill superheroes to be more heroic and then they will get their real suits, think about it more than just surface level people
A lot of people are programmed to consume product then move on to the next product.
I'm looking forward to it. You never know, maybe the bitching will force them to add accurate suits if they haven't.
@@Tyrgermanic yeah I doubt they will keep those suits, but if they do then I’ll join the hate train lol

Boba,as an artist myself.I love that you does highlight the artists behind the cover art on your channel.

Hope it's executed well.
characters evolve and so do their looks/ costumes
right
Honestly, people keep criticizing this movie when it really doesn't deserve the amount of hate it's receiving.
That trailer will make or break the film.
Maybe they have to go to a company meeting and they have to wear their uniform.
Lordtec is part of a future plot line an aperitif, otherwise Superman would only have Lex before the real JLA movie

My theory for Guy Gardner’s hair being more blonde is that maybe he’s dyeing it or changing it some other way and it’ll end up more red headed later on
Note to self - suits always change, in the same movie we might see changes, or in future movies. But one thing for sure? Suits always change
i think your being way to graceful on james gunns cringe costumes but who knows maybe after editing they wont be as terrible lol
I love the suits I think people where wanting the characters to resemble their JL Animated counterparts where this is giving me heavy Comic Vibes
When does wolverine and Deadpool join the team
Suits never really mattered to me what was important for me was the actor and how they can show that they ARE these comic books heroes/villains having the suit look cool is just a bonus. We also have to remember this is just the beginning these characters might switch suits later on
If you look carefully...Superman suit follows the same design with the shoulder pad design..so it's safe to assume that Superman is part of that Max Lord team.
@@Crooklynmike I'm 99.9% sure that Superman isn't sponsored/funded by corporate LordTech.
What if the team is called justice lords . Or justice lords America , or just justice lord association so it’s not “of America “ and they eventually leads into justice league international
Honestly at first glance, I thought the Lordtech logo was a “JL” and I was super confused
I WASN'T MAD AT THEIR CLOTHES, BECAUSE IT IS THEIR COMPANY UNIFORM. I THINK THEY WILL GET THEIR REAL CLOTHES AT THE END OF THE MOVIE.
Is your caps lock broken or are you just desperate for attention?
Which would be a L…this movie has to be a KNOCKOUT! Those suits won’t get it done

I am mixed on the green lantern suit but it’s still way better than the cgi monstrosity Ryan Reynolds’s wore
The green lanterne suit movie is better than Thatcher 😂 bro
Guy has the easiest GL suit to get right. I really do hope this is setting up a more comic accurrate look
I hate Guys, specifically because Guys ring creates his suit by default. This means in order to adjust it to look like everyone else Guy had to consciously choose to change his default suit which goes against Guys character
11:27 star trek?
I don’t think they’re going for godly costumes like let’s say Snyder was doing. This is a lot more superhero-like and grounded to out world
Guy Gardner in the 1990’s wore a black leather jacket with a “G” on the front in the Guy Gardner Comics.
I have mixed feelings about all the suits we've seen so far, (except Mr. Terrific's) but I'll wait until the film comes out. I'm hopeful, but cautiously optimistic because I'm 50/50 on everything James Gunn has worked on.
Guy gardner should of had reddish brown hair
While I’m not head over heels for the hawkgirl and guy suit (I like the mask and mace, haircut) I do believe it is a purpose for them. As long as it explains and helps the movie move along it is alright with me
Corporate wars, with superheros. I like it.
I could see them tossing the corporate suits in the trash at the end of the movie, maybe after seeing Superman on the TV, leaving the door open for them to have comic accurate costumes next time they appear
Exactly.
i like your balanced observations unlike the over reactionary responses from other channels.
So Gunn is going one better than Snyder - hold my beer - and killing off Superman in the first film? Audiences will love it I'm sure.

@@paramahansayoga84 If Gunn kills Superman off, I doubt he's doing a future story, then the next films revert back to the present. And he drops a Superman into them. If he hills off Superman in this first film, I assume Superman won't be seen again in the DCU. Corenswet will have gotten a raw deal - one and done. It sounds like you are saying this is the final film for Superman at the end of his career and then the DCU reverts back to earlier times where Superman is not dead and can appear in pre-this film Superman films?
Ey. Here to complement the "Reverse kingdom come" theory.
'Cause as we've seen in the photos, I see superman working with the "Stagg team" I've come to compare it to Superman vs the elite or what's fun about truth justice and the American way.
Maybe in this world superman starts doing good stuff and the "stagg team" kinda recruits him before any other team can, and lex kinda moves the strings to make the team and maxwell hate superman, so they end up fighting until superman comes on top. "Creating a legacy for newcomers heroes"
guessing superman is going to break hero's from the coporate grip of corruption. Then maybe batman will step in then to finance the league.
Hopefully!
Then why do I like Mister Terrifics? (also a part of LordTech's stash) ;)
@@BobaTalks 😂 maybe cos MT’s costume looks the most comic accurate?
It’s ok… don’t panic, not like they’ve put Superman in a hole 🕳️
Oh. Wait
Hmm... a reverse Kingdom Come, hadn't thought of that.
Please look at the set photos of Deadpool, Avengers, and the Batman. The suits will change in post production.
He proved to be the best Batman ever in live action. At least in my opinion. I respect your view. I just want to see some action before I comment.
Exact same takes can be said here with the way they executed the LordTech uniform designs 🙂
@@BobaTalks I agree the classic Superman logo would be the best but then Gunn would basically be giving us an updated version of Christopher Reeves suit. I don't envy the suit design team. They are trying to create new takes on the heroes while having the original designs so fans will know who they are. Nathan's bowl cut is absolutely hilarious. They can't win either way.
