ye his supports were fucking insane, along with the fact that Fitzy was hacking flats as much as he could to disable his hook, breather, making Hog incredibly squishy.

Is it just me or is Winston just the world record speedrunner of being counter-swapped. Try winning one team fight on him or Rein without the enemy team hard swapping to every counter know to man.
Yes he gets decimated by spread bc of his hitbox and high hp targets bc of his lows dmg. All his counters have both. Hog, dva, reaper, bastion, etc. at the same time nobody wants to be a dive target

I counter pick rein when its the type of rein that ONLY stays with his team holding up a shield, I have shooted enough shields in ow1, like get that shit out of here
every time I go rein the enemy go Orisa, Mei, bastion, zen and Kirko after one team fight or the go back to spawn and swap
That rammatra survived so many moments i was sure he was dead. His supports healing was insane

also love how flats can protect his team even on hog lmao. hooking the genji running at his team was satisfying to watch
Even looking past the rock paper scissors, even looking past the heroes that just absolutely delete tanks like sombra on the enemy team, even looking past how map dependent most picks are nowadays because there is only one tanks, so you basically have to play the whole roster of tanks... The worst part of it as at the end of the day, your success is entirely dependent about what supports your team picks.
I've had to just start asking my supports what tank they want instead of the other way around.
The fact that you think you should be able to dictate what hero's your supports play tells me everything I need to know.
Skill issue
Sort of. Part of overwatch is learning to adapt, and that goes for everyone. If you have a mercy lifeweaver who you asked to swap and won’t, it’s no longer their responsibility to adapt. It is now urs. Part of overwatch is instead of thinking how your team hinders you ask how you can play more catered to ur team mates picks and needs.
Most the time games aren’t lost in the spawn room based on hero picks.

Nah, Sombra players deserve 0 respect. They CHOOSE to main a character who's most effective playstyle is just spawn camping certain heroes and hacking the tank at every opportunity. Basically just not letting people play the game and have fun is their way of having fun. He's right, they are disgusting.

Every time I watch OW content I think “it’s not that serious” and then I play Overwatch and remember that it is, in fact, that serious.

As a casual player, I'm actually starting to have fun playing tank again. What I didn't realize for the longest time was that you build ult a lot slower when you damage tanks because of their role passive. I've always known you're supposed to go after squishies whenever possible, but I didn't understand just how important it was to prioritize other players over the tank. As a result, I feel like I've been winning a lot more games and I don't need to counter-swap as much as I used to.
Except if you tank the tank out first you literally have nothing but squishy people left that's why most take the tank out first.

There’s definitely a real problem when a sigma, one of the most survivable tanks, dies because the supports turned around for a second.

I’m probably done for a wile. I’m a gold 1 tank rein main and it’s just miserable. Don’t have a hero shooter that is so heavily based on counters it ruins the run because you are forced to play a character you don’t like or get flamed by your team because you didn’t switch. I want a competitive FPS not rock paper scissors

6v6 but all the off tanks are a separate class called vanguard. So zarya dva hog mauga ball doom. Rebalance health and damage so that they are the fat DPS they were always meant to be. I just want a Zarya to Arm Wrestle spray with me again. :(

It's almost like having characters that can completely stop a player from using their hero's abilities or completely turn off healing can reduce fun.

Yes, tank is so weak, flats literally gets a no look kill on Ana and kills both the tank and the kiriko. In the first 30 seconds of the video flats as Winston killed 3 players without any difficulty or any skill. Yes. Tanks r SOOOO weak.

i tried something new with hog so i swapped hook and heal so hook is now on right click and heal is on shift and its a little easier to hook people but im still new to mnk so its a small adjustment but it helps

I miss playing tank its not as fun as it used to be. I used to play zarya a lot too but now its really almost unusable. I usually just either go hog or winton. But now I just stick to soldier, sombra or maybe bastion.
Now the big question flat: " Do you prefer stand still and try not to die or running in circle and shoot people ?"
is it just me, or have all the qp lobbies gone full sweaty? like i know this is comp but it all feels the same to me now
The matchmaking in high ranks is so bad rn that a lot of ranked players have been just grouping and queuing in qp to dominate lobbies that way since they can't enjoy comp rn. Like I'm GM4 support and will get players in my rank playing at a plat level MAYBE. Ranked is fairly pointless to play rn there's too many boosted accounts and the games are insanely one sided.
I personally had a lot more fun in ranked then in qp... only problem in ranked is i face a lot more pharmercys... BUT i do face less counterswapper... and that is sad af...@@Stiffmiester979

In my opinion they should change the 5v5 dynamic its so incredibly unbalanced??? damn it have it be 3v3 or just 6v6, either 1 of each role or 2 of each role, and even then the difficulty in my opinion on 6v6 would be finding a good team to play with but even then itd probably be alot mor balanced either way and way less worries for EVERYONE involved

He was in over time and probably trying to farm his ult as fast as possible well also pulling as much agro as he could. Ball's ult isn't that amazing, but it's pretty effective on overtime when people are crowding the point to make sure it's constantly contested. He'll just drop it on the payload and slam people into it, and most players who aren't on tank just blow up. Not to mention the more people in range, the more value you get out of adaptive shields, which lets ball live longer, and denies the enemy their ult charge.
It really feels like he was throwing for content there. He does the same thing when he kinetic grasps at Ram.

2. Tell us animated stories of ur journey and not a question 3. Level with me you can see similar playstyles in all ranks of different characters like me im low silver jq main but noticed u have the same crosshair and romni the number one jq main AND FORMER CONDENORS TANK plays similar to how low rank players do not an insult just thought it isn't the counter swaps all the time its rarely also the people around you and the experience you have with others too that make a good match

I swapped from dps to tank and am having way more fun. You think tanks explode fast? Imagine being focused with 200 hp lmao.
A lot of dps have ways to escape, most tanks don't... dps can deal with things like pharmercy, tanks can't(except you are a really good dva) dps have way tinier hitboxes, most have good escape and engage tools, or ways to save themselves(exception bastion)... most tanks don't...

@@sucrose4584 yeah... all the counterswapping and supports ruin the game... its so sad, i wouldn't call mauga a counter for dva, obviously he can melt her but if mauga activates cardiac you can just hold your DM and he won't get any value same for your boosters just stay out of mauga range... but zarya doesn't really have counterplay except kill her supports and then your entire team needs to focus her and pop her bubbles... but overall... counterswapping and all this toxic shiz ruins the game and especially QP...

I don’t understand why we can’t have a 6v6 mode. We kept open queue when we got role lock, so why not 6v6?
Some will say its because Blizzard is afraid no one will play 5v5, but the real answer is that the whole roster was redesigned for 5v5. None of the tank heal pools, abilitiy cool downs, and dmg/healing numbers would work anymore in 6v6.
The actual reason, the entire engine was remade to replace the old one meaning 6v6 was never implemented into ow2, ever. We are forced to be stuck with 5v5 and devs are too prideful to add 6v6 alongside 5v5.
@@cantbelieve5231Cap and copium. You can literally play 6v6 with current roster numbers in customs right now. Fuck we can even do 2v10 with 100s of lines of codes for each and every single character/global effects and the game wouldn't crash.

XD I'm a brand new player and I told my teammates in qm that I'm gonna give a try to Doomfist. We got stuck for 3 minutes at the respawn then they told me "Mate, I think you had enough, it's time to change your pick". We won btw
