i wont lie, playing orisa and just never dying while being able to just w key is pretty fun.

@@Lucretia916 it's still annoying since on a lot of characters you have to switch to be able to do much against her. Like when I just wanna play rein going against orisa is annoying as hell.

I always liked the you have to play counters as the base of the game but now that's just the game period constantly switching to just counter them tryna counter you
You can't even play the characters you actually want too anymore they took the freedom out the game it's either run meta or lose.
I honestly believe a proper drafting system with picks and bans would make this game much more enjoyable, reinforce a proper pool of heros with significant skill and provide a better balance.
You need at least a few more hero's in the roster for that. We tried hero pools it was.....

A draft where you pick before the game starts. Because of overwatch being the way it is, maybe you should be able to swap once during the game and make that swap matter.
There’s nothing worse than a toxic orisa, or a toxic tank for that matter

So cringe when people shit-talk unprovoked in general. People have such egos in a stupid ass video game it's just so cringey. One time I was playing rein v rein on king's row (because I have honor) I didn't swap the entire game to honor the duel. I was gapping their rein (and I didn't say anything) and then their DPS swapped to bastion and reaper and they had Ana + zen. They literally knew I was the carry so they shut me down and then they won the round. Kid had the audacity to type "MTD" so then I swapped to sigma and smoked him - ended up winning the game.
He then coped after and said "I made you swap off rein I still gapped you" yeah unfortunately there are players that delusional in this game.
Btw this was like a plat lobby lol

I think some people are still used to her movement being super OP like it was in season 1 so they still just think she's not killable but she absolutely is now. Those nerfs made a huge difference. She's still not super easy to hit yes, but it's actually doable now. But yeah some ppl just dont even care to try. Then they wonder why the mercy gets so many rezzes off. The ONE time she stands perfectly still and nobody tries to punish her. They shoot the orisa instead

A mercy that knows how to play cover, use movement, and gets healed by the other support is literally unkillable sometimes. The best mercy’s are just ridiculous to deal with
Just had a game with a heavy tank diff (enemy tank had 40 kills and 5 deaths, ours was 11 and 12).
I'm pretty relaxed in this game but he started spamming the chat asking for everyone to "report the Heals".
Myself and the other support had about 17k healing between us about 3.5k more than the enemy.
That shit is what drives me up the wall.
Just so you know if you're playing support and you have alot of heals it doesn't mean ur doing better, maybe try using your utility and getting some kills and damage to actually help ur team
@Dino nuggies yeah that's a fair general statement, but in this case trust me we were doing all we could (I was Mercy and my damage boost beam was about 60% use)
@@Scanny524 ah OK that's fair then I see alot of mercy's healvot then complain when they lose do that's refreshing (I main bap and normally I have most kills in the lobby and only 1-2k less heals than other supports

To be honest, the numbers mean nothing. I'm not saying "your healing numbers can't be used to defend your performance" as an attack, I'm saying literally, in either direction. Healing numbers, with no context, are useless. If you tell me you were doing everything you could, I believe you; it's a fine claim, and I have no reason to doubt anyone who says it. If someone says, "I was healing great look at my number," or "You were doing awful look at your number," it's meaningless.
A team that does more damage can get less kills, for the same reason... and I don't JUST mean because of the numbers, I mean literally the exact same reason. A team that kills quickly and easily will by definition be doing less damage, because they only do the damage once and it kills. Etc.
I love seeing "tank diff, you suck kys" in qp when im just fucking around on doom having fun. I even turn off chat and stay out of voice and i still get messages like damn bro its qp let me have fun

My QP games have been full of absolute weirdos like this recently. Even had a guy screaming racial slurs at me and he was in my own team. Usually I just ignore it all but ended up try-harding just to be able to say he got carried at the end.

@@Beyondqqq Was playing reaper in QP the other day and the enemy's kiriko rage swapped to sombra but i was still able to kill her a lot and after the match she typed in chat.... and i quote "weird * * * reaper"

Remember when Aaron said having heroes locked in the battle pass was no big deal because "hard counters" would be gone in OW2?
"So we think that with 35 heroes at launch and with a tweaked value for the counters in the game, it’s going to allow more players the flexibility and the freedom to pick the heroes that they want to. So having one hero absent out of the pool or having more than the 35 heroes in the game won’t affect the competitive nature of the game as much."
Yet the reality is counter swapping is as strong as ever.
Love playing sigma or any tank only to see the dps swap to mei or symm and hard focus me :/

And honestly it's worse for the tank. In OW1 you could usually play around your team, their team and your tank partner to play SOMETHING other than The One True Counter-Pick. But now? Unless you're straight up doffing the match-up (including any dps/support counterpicks) you're just playing Rein->Orisa->Zarya->Rein or some other similar bullahit countersink cycle.
ow2 devs need to introduce (forced role queue) in their game

Me and my friend have literally hard carried teams before, but against a good team, it's not easy
@DapimpBDSD when it comes to top 500 that doesn't matter at all , people know how to communicate and strategize together it makes no difference if you are solo q ing in top500 everybody is extremely good at the game to be playing in that rank and to maintain it

Just bring back the double tank :( at least that way it wasn't just rock paper scissors 1v1 the entire time. You could afford to play whatever you wanted because there was a good chance whatever your tank buddy was playing would counter the other teams tanks and vice versa. There was at least more variety. I just want to play sigma but I'm so sick of just instantly having to swap off because Zarya or Winton

I don't know about GM and above but one thing I've noticed in the master rank is that players will tend to play the game with a "game theory optimal" mindset. Not taking risks or trying to make a game changing play. I think many players would rather lose but still maintain good stats (good KD ratio) so that the blame doesn't go to them. Basically people are pussies.

Nobody plays tank because every time you loose they always complain to the tank if you loose
I started playing OW when OW2 first launched and I quit a few weeks later because there was no progression, no way to earn free items and the matchmaking was dogshit. None of that has changed which is such a shame because the game is fun AF it just doesn't value your time in any way.
OW was where it was at. It was 100 times better than it is now.
If someone who won the game says Tank Diff while doing significantly worse than the other tank it makes my blood boil
Flats went from casually playing to boss battle.
Without a second tank to balance out enemy counter tanks against your pick, it becomes rock paper scissors or mirrors. One player needs to know every tank now to counter their counter. It’s really annoying

I’ve just stopped playing tank this season, it just feels like a 1v1 the whole game and even when I’m just stomping the enemy tank in the ground the few wins they get on me just fuels their ego enough for them to drop the most abhorrent things in chat at the end so even In victory I’m still tilted
This made me remember of a tank that I played with, it's the Busan and the place is the one with a lot of cars and small hallway, at the start of the game, my tank (orisa) decide to just zoom into the point and pass all the enemy tank, DPS and supports and then spam for us to go sit on the point with her despite me, another support and both DPS suffer greatly as we're getting bullied by a doomfist, Hanzo and the rest of the enemy
And the end, the tank just decide it's our fault for not healing enough even thou he just keep pressing w even when both of us supports struggling at the back
I just playing the comp for fun, but then this happened and the best thing, the support and the tank is bickering with each other in chat while standing still in front of enemy

biggest thing that makes me angry: people who queue support, and don't heal anybody - and sit there doing ONLY DPS all match long. leading to a loss. It's an absolute plague in Quickplay. :(
had a similar situation the other day, had the dps say ez, had them next game and we stomped them, he was just as humble about it as well.
Good on that other guy for owning up at least. Flats trolled him a bit but he did start the mtd crap early.

Counter swapping is such a lame way to have to play, they should remove swapping from the game once the game starts.
OWL also needs hero draft regardless of keeping/removing swap, force hero uniqueness will encourage team diversity making it far more interesting to watch.

I have a running idea that the reason overwatch is hard counters, the game, is to force every hero to be played because making things fun is hard somehow.
I played one comp match today feeling myself as rein, enemy team was orisa, bastion, junk and they were all talking shit, I did not requeue and for some reason it was my fault that I couldn't do anything when my supports didnt even try to hear me
Sadly as a healer, sometimes you can't pocket the tank,just played with a feeder junker queen,bro was annoyed with us because "we didn't heal or push" meanwhile we four were against the tank and dps's,he was against ana and kiriko and still managed to get rolled 😂
@@jbcroos918 now I flex and play all the roles so I know how they're played, and its not that I was expecting to be pocketed but I wasn't getting any attention whatsoever while the three I previously mentioned were constantly pumped with heals, I had the spam the heal button while standing next to my team and they didn't even top me off
@@ShroomSage yeah, I'm learning how to use hog an junker queen for that same situation, been using ball for the shield buff when close to the enemy and the mobility to go get the health packs

An even better thing is you can turn off chat in general, cause personally my own team is more annoying than the enemy's most times 😂

even in older games like quake or tf2 to get mobility you gotta sacrifice a chunk of your health and it takes time to actually learn the technique required
