I started to add a few litres of basic Apple juice to my ciders as it gives it a more fruity flavour

I bought this cider kit (my first, ) a few weeks ago because it was reduced to £6.00. After watching your review I feel I must thank you for this discount. I start brewing today and I hope I can achieve 6/10 (I've drunk worse).

Bargain at that price thats for sure, I think if I done this one again I would add a few ltrs of fresh apple juice just to boost the flavour, but best of luck with it and hope it all turns out well :)

Im perfectly fine with cloudy cider, That means that its got all the good stuff and hasnt been filtered of course in the case of yours being homebrew thats to be expected but in the case of commercially avaliable ciders i prefer cloudy natural ciders.
I might have to brew up a cider kit because i really enjoy the taste of a good cider.

I like cloudy cider myself and a good one is the john bull country cider, fantastic brew that was..

The problem with this kit is that it has a large amout of malt extract in it so it is an apple flavoured ale rather than a cider

I'm actually brewing this one as we speak, it's in a fermentation bin right now (started 8/11/18) and after a day it really kicked in fermenting and still going strong, just wondering when its going to stop so I can pop it in a barrel Lol. Just hope its going to make a difference on the taste with this long fermenting because it should have stopped by now ;-)

I have to say it does get a bit better over time the longer you leave it in the bottles, but won't be buying it again..

+DDoubleTap Finally kegged it up 26/11/18 moved to cold place 29/11/18 and had several taste testings since then, at first it was a bit watery on taste but I have to say it is improving over time ;-) Almost forgot to mention that the natural carbonation is excellent and it remains a little cloudy but I don't mind that.

Hope it turns out well for you and mine has got a bit better over time since bottling it, think I have five left so not many to go now..

I wish i had seen this before i got the kit.
I hope it will have better flavour because i added another 3 liters of fruit juice i stead of water and used muscvado sugar. I heard it gives a better flavour. We will see in a few week.
