Regardless of the technical comment below I’ve not seen another version of this song where the singer fully embodies this song - I’m totally blown away. As an audience member I will take expression over skill any day.
I love this young lady! Love her in Raising Kanan! Very talented. This is not an easy song to sing. Hope to see her 10-20 years down the line. She is going to have a long career!
From a technical perspective, she needs to work on her breath support to make it through entire phrases without taking an extra breath. She tends to flat at the top of phrases, so she likely needs to find a good mix voice earlier in her range. Her emotion is great, though!
