Most of these Nigerian scammers are young guys. No wonder they’re more interested in talking to the daughters! They’re probably closer in age. Though it’s true, online predators come in all shapes and sizes. She didn’t mention her daughter’s ages, so they maybe over 18, but probably not yet 18. Why would you let a stranger talk to your daughters?!

The way victims describe the scammers always sound like a child telling you what they wanna be when they grow up, dude's an engineer, is in the military, has a clothing line, architect, musician, he also owns a company, but for some reason he's relying on your gift cards to survive.

As far as I can tell, the reverse image search for social media is not a service that is offered by any websites for free. But it’s also not really necessary for figuring out you’re talking to a scammer. I suppose if you’re good looking, it could be interesting to use it to see who’s stolen your photos, not that you could do much about it.

I know a couple of people named Lakeisha that have a bird brain. She made a point of telling us she’s basically an international pick me. “I’m not like the other girls, I’m being scammed by an African CANADIAN”.
I can't be the only one who finds these phone calls hugely uncomfortable, right? How come these conversations are always so one-sided and only one party is enthusiastically asking questions, while the other sounds obviously bored and gives only short answers (except when it's about money)? Yet, the victims are always talking about this love, connection and passion they felt. Clearly it's all in their head.

Because the scammers are BORED!!!! This is their "job". If you've ever worked in customer service or answered calls, it becomes mundane. The only things that perks up these scammers are the sweet comforting sounds from the rustling of dollar bills. I had a guy from Nigeria try and tell me they didn't have grocery stores there. I still to this day wish I had said, "over 200 million people in Nigeria and no one has yet figured out how to build grocery stores. Everybody living off of oxygen and dust as well as dragging yall behinds on the grass like dogs. That's amazing". 😂 He really assumed I was going to send him money because of that "sad story". I did tell him off after being sick of him sending me messages about marriage and deleted him from my page.

After 3, there's no doubt that SHE'S the problem. First one it's easy to blame the husband, or say it's just a bad match. 2nd, she can say it's a fluke. But after THREE, there's no excuse - she's the issue. And the fact that she jumped right back into dating, and desperately, shows the issue. She has no idea how to be alone, so she "has to be with someone" no matter how bad the relationship is.
Her problems go beyond attracting scammers. She listed all the ex husbands then announces that the son's father isn't any of them. 😄 Then later on, she mentions daughters! Where did they come from? How old are they? How is the scammer following both daughters? And why are they discussing family problems with him? And why does she think, "That's sweet"??? She impresses me as someone who doesn't enjoy her own company; she'd rather be with anyone than be alone. Not technically a "problem" but it makes one very vulnerable, especially if minor children are involved. She knew something was wrong with this guy and still didn't want to let him go without official confirmation.🤦🏾 I'm the opposite. You have to work hard to attract my attention because I actually prefer my own company!

Apart from the fact that this is a scam: what's interesting to me is that she says that she has a high standard for men due to her previous relationships. And then we find out that the scammer is actually pretty abusive to her - the way he guilt trips her is very blatantly manipulative and rude. He's entitled to her money, which is disrespectful. It's odd that she would have this image of herself as someone who has high standards for men and then she lets a dude speak to her like that and it's no problem... He is also so obviously uninterested when on the phone with her. Just mumbling something, not truly conversing, not charming her, or showing any type of emotion other than boredom. One thing I noticed about all the catfish in these videos is that the scammers start immediately with the whole "looking for that special woman to spend the rest of my life" and a list of romantic cliches that you see in movies or read in romance novels with a Fabio-like man on the cover. They always appeal to "how special" and "unique" the victim is. They go for their ego. Then, the victim falls into the ego-stroking trap because it's like a drug they can't drop, and voila. It's love-bombing online. Plus, her record of three divorces must play a role in this as well.

I met my man on line through a virtual game, 17 years ago. Two years we chatted and became friends. He never once asked for money. I did go out to visit him and what was supposed to be a two week visit turned into a 15 year relationship that just recently ended in March of this year due to his passing from complications of OCPD caught due to COVID. I do not understand women that allow men that ask for money, belittle them or insult them when they refuse to send money, to continue to chat. As far as I can tell, the reverse image search for social media is not a service that is offered by any websites for free. But it’s also not really necessary for figuring out you’re talking to a scammer. I suppose if you’re good looking, it could be interesting to use it to see who’s stolen your photos, not that you could do much about it.

How come these conversations are always so one-sided and only one party is enthusiastically asking questions, while the other sounds obviously bored and gives only short answers (except when it's about money)? I still to this day wish I had said, "over 200 million people in Nigeria and no one has yet figured out how to build grocery stores. She impresses me as someone who doesn't enjoy her own company; she'd rather be with anyone than be alone. Not technically a "problem" but it makes one very vulnerable, especially if minor children are involved. She knew something was wrong with this guy and still didn't want to let him go without official confirmation.🤦🏾

Apart from the fact that this is a scam: what's interesting to me is that she says that she has a high standard for men due to her previous relationships. And then we find out that the scammer is actually pretty abusive to her - the way he guilt trips her is very blatantly manipulative and rude. He's entitled to her money, which is disrespectful. It's odd that she would have this image of herself as someone who has high standards for men and then she lets a dude speak to her like that and it's no problem... He is also so obviously uninterested when on the phone with her. Just mumbling something, not truly conversing, not charming her, or showing any type of emotion other than boredom. I worry about what she considers low standards to be.

They always appeal to "how special" and "unique" the victim is. They go for their ego. Then, the victim falls into the ego-stroking trap because it's like a drug they can't drop, and voila. It's love-bombing online. Plus, her record of three divorces must play a role in this as well.
