Hello Doc. Such an excellent series..♥♥♥ Just a question on QUESTION NO. 9 ( 26:26 ) IS the answer to 9a. describing the SOMOGYI EFFECT? and if so shouldn't the morning blood sugars be HIGH?
Hello Doc, I was going through question 8 ( 22:47 ) then I noticed that the patient was fully vaccinated(vaccinations upto date) and the blood picture showed 84%polymorphs which indicates a bacterial infection. Would I be right to state that instead of Haemophilus Influenza we should consider Strep pneumoniae as causative agent??
Enjoy the video dear friends ♥️ 🇿🇲, wishing you nothing but the best #DrMK7
Thank you Doc😊

Remember even S pneumonia had a PCV vaccine
@@DrMK7 yeah you're right, I just couldn't ignore the blood picture
Strep can also cause it but most cases have been attributed to H influenzae
@@DrMK7 thank you so much Doc.. Thank you for the videos too
doc for question 2 part d, would TLD(2NRTI+II) also be appropriate or is that the standard ?
generally that is also based on things like weight/age of the child or presence of other comorbidities e.g. renal function
The formula for estimating how much someone weighs, does it have a age limit or it doesnt?
Yes it does generally for children between 1 to 10 years
Grateful
