Wow I am 28 African American women. I get the stigma in our cultural as a whole that we are expected to be a wife and bare children. I use to cry myself to sleep because I thought I was less than a women because I hadn't conceived after being in a very long relationship for 8 years. My mom would even give me the side eye. Went to the hospital to get my fertility checked after all the pressure placed on me by my family in sept 2019 with no answers as to if I can bare children. Then March 1 2020 I found out I am pregnant. God had finally answered my prayers. Now I find people telling me by time as if I am to old to have babies. God makes us uniquely different. And baring children doesn't mean we are more women than the next. May God bless you with the opportunity to nurture a child as your own, you will make a great mother my sister and you are a beautiful Wombman.....

Excellent interviewer, Unfortunately illnesses are often blamed on the victim...This is a problem in many African nations .Any health condition is related to the behavior of the victim and rarely addressed medically or scientifically. Thank God this young lady has a remarkable support system in place
