For the hanging crate, movable 3d floors are possible, but would need a bit of coding. There’s also the option to make them with crate models.

Given that a lot of it is gonna be redone to resemble the map layout of the actual alpha, I’m curious if any elements from screenshots of the 0.61 build are going to be incorporated into Office Warrens, Alien Research Lab, Communications Center, or Reactor Lab?
Probably, time will only tell in the future.

@@QuakerCraft Well, you know how it’s been altered to be more like the actual 0.61 version of that map in terms of layout? Are you going to add the crate height puzzle that was supposed to be there? Assuming GZDoom can replicate it, of course.

Sorry for bugging you with questions. Are any of the secrets that haven’t been carried over from the GoldSrc version (like the outdoor area with Marines at the beginning) going to be eventually?
The only secret that i kept from the old project is the mp5 secret behind a blue panel, the marine outdoor secret is replaced by normal small room with some loot inside to get.

Out of curiosity, how come the page still has the older version? Do the HL Alpha texture doom conversions need some ironing out before being released?
It requires a lot of time converting all the textures and converting all the doors in polyobjects swing and slide doors.
@@QuakerCraft fair enough. I was thinking if you finished porting the textures at least, you could release the ported texture pack
Stupid question: are the blocks of the map gonna be merged at the silent teleport areas so those can be redone with actual doors?
No, because certain zone are impossible to merge for their placement.

Open the console and type "movebob 1" or go to HUD Option in the full options menu and change the value with the weapon bob bar.

UDMF format.
@@QuakerCraft huh. Because UDMF format usually doesn’t have all those nodes like the vanilla & Hexen format do. Yes, I opened it up in an editor to try & implement the 3d floors. Please don’t kill me. Anyway, in UDMF, the crate height puzzle is doable in 1 of 2 ways:
* the crates as 3d models
* the crates as 3d floor elevators
In both cases, some coding in ACS &/or Zscript is involved.
@@lyokianhitchhiker I don't think that is the problem. The thing is, i didn't want to implemented the crate moving, just because i don't want to. I prefer them to be static and if you fall down, you just need to get back up from the ladder to try again.

Actually, remember you said that the RPG/Marine Room at the end of the Portal Device was cut due to being part of Blast Pit? What are your plans for the other demo map elements the original GoldSrc mod incorporated?

Yeah, i know about the problems that right now it has and that I promised more stuff to it, but right now, work has slowed down because I don't have the time for it. So sorry for the wait on new content.
... How did u change the hud style?
It depends on the keyboard layout that you are using, mine is the Italian one and to switch hud style the " ' " & "ì" keys are the one. In the American one are the "+" & "-" keys or you can go to the Hud option and change the screen size.
i think they just made them 2d with a lot of frames, and when dead they change to 3d and play an animation. really genius
if thats the case then how come the weapons have lighting like actual 3d models? if you look closely you can see it
no, its the gzdoom engine, which allows for much more advanced stuff than the original can support. at this point its glorified quake
