Came to say the same thing, he's larger than his sport alone and everything he touches gains traction. He's one of the greatest armwrestlers of all time, he's incredibly intelligent in his sport and is even an amazing teacher which doesn't always come with skill. He's also got that willingness to put himself out there and try new things like boxing, weightlifting and the grip stuff, and while he can come across as an arrogant armwrestler, it's typically just mind games and he is always super humble and willing to learn when he's new to something. Dude's even got the charisma to be a great character even when no armwrestling or other sport is happening

Yea John Brzenk is considered the GOAT. His career spanned for so long, with him being at the top, globally, across weight divisions. It's ridiculous. Even if Levan could maybe beat all versions of Brzenk, he'd need to do a lot more than that to be considered the GOAT, because a lot of things go into such a title. Like in the UFC, GSP is considered the GOAT as far as I'm aware, and yet there's heavyweights who would likely have been able to beat him, but that doesn't mean he isn't the GOAT. Levan is maybe the BEST of all time though, yea. As in the highest peaking competitor. But not the "greatest".
I was so excited to see this. Big Loz you could be a Tim Bresnan. World level that started late. I think Devon John and Michael have proven that it is possible to be world level in your late 40s. I'm sure you have heard Devon talk about it taking a few years to get good and 6 to 10 to really "kick ass" in his words. At 38 there is still plenty of time for you to have another world level career. Best wishes from Texas.
I love that not just Devon but everyone there seemed so willing to be helpful. I don't arm wrestle or do strongman, but I've noticed that there are few (if any) other sporting communities that are so welcoming to inexperienced people and it's fantastic to see.

You can tell Devon likes you by the time he is spending and teaching you. Usually on camera anyways, he gets a consultant fee for teaching his expertise in these gyms and working with ppl, but he really wants to help you which is genuine. Man this has become one of my fave channels. I was always a strength sport fan growing up, idolizing Magnus and others. I found Loz late, but immediately knew he was my fave. A gentle giant who’s legitimately one of the most powerful humans alive, there’s something admirable when someone who could literally crush your skull has humility and grace. What an epic combo, my boy Dev, representing Canadians like never before, I am a tradesmen and patriot, and Devon feels like one of us, just another bro you can count on, people like these are going extinct.
This video might not be of interest to some of the ‘fans who are strongman ‘purists’. But for me it was brilliant. Arm wrestling is definitely a strongman sport, albeit completely different to what we would normally associate Big Loz with. Loz is obviously fascinated by tests of strength. We’ve seen lol the stone lifting in Scotland and now we are seeing the arm wrestling, brilliant! Again we are seeing how people will give information and help each other. Great to see Loz pulling and getting tips from Devon. Devon is a great human being! Great to see these scenarios where your just relaxed and enjoying yourselves. It definitely appeared that Big Loz was picking up what Devon was trying to impart more easily than Larry... Larry was a bit overwhelmed by Devon's teachings... but then again... Devon was throwing a lot of high level stuff at Larry!
Yeah Devon will have much stronger pronation for example than Loz and probably riser strength too. Its muscles that regular training don't hit much which often make all the difference in armwrestling
That’s cause he beats big strong guys with 10+ years of experience all the time. Can’t remember if it was Michael Todd or Devon that said the huge guys that entering their primes and others coming up are going to make it difficult for guys under 300#.

What gets me is the insane level of detail and technique there is in each pull. As Devon is explaining to Loz with thumb position, body position etc etc. I learnt a huge amount just from that video, stuff I'd never even have considered could be a factor. Quality

It's still great to pull against strongmen athletes! It's just different! If Big Loz were to take AW up seriously he would in a few years be a very serious AW competitor... you can already see that he has some training!

Devon is still feeling bad aboutt his boxing fight... I dont know what he expected to get from that he did not have boxing training...he could have done the same just by sparring for fun... Without us to see it... I personnally got worried about his teeth...but if he s good now i hope he ll stick to armwrestling only....boxing is not a sport like if u re a football player u try basket see how it goes... Neither is armwrestling...boxing is an endless universe... With countless combinations and techniques....u cannot be good at it without experience....anyways always great to see him armwrestle ♥

Keep it up Loz. Arm wrestling is a sport you’ll be able to do well into your 50s-60s and compete. In 2 years you’ll be at a really good level.
