WE'RE all guilty of having the odd moan about our workplace, but spare a thought for the men who live, work, sleep - and even eat - in a TOILET. Following a spate of vandalism and thefts from Delhi's public lavatories, the city authorities took the decision to employ staff to guard the facilities and keep them clean. Premraj Das, 40, who supports his family on his £70 monthly wage, is one such employee. He spends his days in his toilet, where he prepares, cooks and eats his food - and sleeps there at night to save money on rent. And despite the stigma attaching to cleaning toilets, Das says he feels no shame at his work, which allows him to earn enough to send home a regular cheque to his family.

call him disgusting, indeed he is a clean guy as he cleans all time, unlike those who left the toilet in unpleasant mode irresponsibly after use, that others has to either clean or bear what they left, if not the visible extras, little ones counts as it still odors - these are all the unhygienic ones. this man is content and grateful with what he's doing, even at the cost of sacrificing his comfort for a better life of his family. that attitude is blessed although not the place he stays in. his boss is way lucky to have not just productive but loyal worker too; that rich Indian man should consider being less stingy to rent his staff a room nearby walk distance to stay in, especially after working for 3 years. now I understand how sub continent labors get ongoing demands from other nations, they can go through hard labors even for more than 8 working hrs (maybe up to 12 hrs) with only basic salary while live in small rooms or dormitory, more than what those nations' own citizens are capable of in such job nature. as also why bosses prefer foreign labors than locals... more productivity, less turnovers, although the cost of employment could've been lesser if not for work permit charges, still they find it worth the pay.

Something's definitely wrong here, how is it that people can live in these conditions while others are oblivious to their surroundings. I truly am thankful to God, and although I'm not really rich there's always a refrigerator full of food and a roof over our heads.

I'm wordless ! I kept complaining throughout my whole life , I dint get this .... that.. all..even though I had those expensive stuffs .
