Absolutely agree. All lore videos I've seen so far made me rather more confused with the story of the game
it might be coherent but has way too many mistakes and pretty significant ones at that . Margulis wasn't orokin , ballas didn't use the virus/infestation on orokin but rather on the dax soldiers who were human . i only watched a little of it and already saw quite a few , but I'm not gonna write it off just because of that i can definitely see the work and effort you put into it . id say that if you remade it with the mistakes repaired it could be done of the better videos out there .
Ps . if you decide to redo it id be down to help , I'm a sucker for this game's story so I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to it .

This helped me so much but I’m still a little confused on the old war. Is this right?
Orokin ruled space basically. Saw the void, wanted to use it, sent a ship in there, things went bad and gave the kids powers making them known as the Tenno. Meanwhile the Orokin also make the sentients, and sent them off into space to colonize? But they came back self aware and started a war that the Orokin were losing. So the Orokin used the infested on their own people to make the warframes. The frames weren’t controllable but the Tenno could harness them so we did, and now we fight the sentients. But the sentients made natah, and somehow they knew margulis meant a lot to the Tenno, they used that against us and now we’re like okay space mom let’s fight the Orokin? But the Orokin pulled a double reverse and made natah think she is margulis, so natah who’s a bad person doesn’t know she’s bad. She hides us on the moon and the war proceeded. Orokin kind of got wiped out and now we have the grineer and corpus as the aftermath. Sooo who’s the guy holding balas on a leash again? What made Natah remember she was bad?
The Leash guy is Erra, Natahs brother, he basically made her remember by using Ballas to take her to them, what they did is not very clear, but she certainly has split personalities, thats why she isnt completely bad and is being used by Erra more than Natah helping him. New War Quest concludes this very well and clears this up some more. Hope this helps, thanks for the comment :)
You got some stuff wrong. The zariman was sent to tau which the sentients colonised but it went wrong and created the tenno and the sentients didn’t make natah into lotus she was sent to infiltrate the orokin and kill the tenno because the tenno and the warframe were winning the war. But then natah had a change of heart, she was infertile because of the void which was a reason the sentients hate orokin and she saw the tenno as her children and became lotus.
@@Zzay397 All of this is in the recap. I never mentioned the Sentients turning her into Lotus, she was just mimicking Margulis. She didnt just have a change of heart, she was also captured by some of the Orokin, replay the Quest Erra, there he mentions that. The Zariman was sent into the void way before the first Sentient were being created. All the information in the video is still accurate, not sure what you think i got wrong.

Margulis wasn't an orokin per se, she was an archimidean (there's a line where she refers to "the orokin" ·the seven probably· in the 3rd person as if she wasn't part of the orokin "cast"). Orokin were strictly the highest cast of human, achimideans were "normal" humans (normal as humans can be in the warframe universe) considered the Scholar cast. Grineer were initially hard labor workers eventually recognized for their potential as grunts/soldiers. Corpus were most likely merchants and engineers. The dax were soldiers and guards for the orokin.
There were more castes, cults and smaller groups not confirmed as actual castes. Picture mercs like ordan Karris, farmers like the ones in Nezha's leverian entry, the ostrons maybe a type of lower class / tribal cast or The scoria assassins.

I for one have fought through literal hell to come to faith in jesus. When I first became Christian, I was very young. And reading the Bible, I knew I was saved because I believed. Something inside of me told me I was saved because I believed and had faith. But then I got into youtube and John macarthur told me belief alone wasn't enough. That's when I started getting extreme anxiety because I thought the voice inside of me was wrong or had lied to me. And so I trusted the words of a man instead....to my shame. But I was young and didn't know any better.....it took me coming to the end of myself to come back to faith in christ alone and not my works. With the help of this channel, diamantes and a few others. Praise God, He kept His promise and brought me back to Him and His love. I may be wrong, but I fully believe that a person who is truly saved will eventually come back to faith in Him. S-

As a 2014 player who took a 3 year break, this video is perfect for a refresher! (Fortuna bombed for me- they should have pushed RJ or PoE a bit more... ya know, ironed out glitches/issues/player feedback/expand PoE to perfection, n tweaks- than...that. That is not my main point, though, and is highly opinionated based off preference/experience and YMMV- and most likely does!).
Anyhow(!!!) returning for RJ and NW (originally NW, but RJ 3.0 is *literappy everything* I wanted from Archwing and more! Soooo now I have to include RJ: as it is the BEST side content WF has ever seen, imho!).
Wanted a solid lore video, to refresh memory on story (as not all missions are replayable sadly...still! Which is a bummer, because many players get burned-n-break or bummed-n-break, only to return, trying to remember every story point, and most likely cannot (this game has length!). This vid needs a recommendation/highlight amongst the community in full for refresher purposing!), and many other lore videos either: fall flat, and/are- overly complicated, and/or way more in depth, than most would prefer for a refresher. (98% of them are all 3 combined, lol! No offense to those creators: that depth deserves an honorable mention, for sure. They are just like a visual/audio Tl;Dr for a refresh-the-storyline purpose! Otherwise they are great bedtime stories, lol! )
This video nails that refresher-but-detailed-enough gap/need to a key. As in, it hammers the proper nail, at the proper time; to accomplish the build utilizing the nails. Whilst other videos give you *the thinking of the engineer who designed the blueprint for the project*, lol! (AND ***then proceed to go in depth to a point of how much PSI a nail needs to be hit to properly seat!!!*** 😂😂😂😂👀👀👀🤣🤣🤣

(Since I believe that any solid content deserves positive opinion/truly constructive criticism):
1. All that could be better is adding an 'up to [insert New War here]', vs. update # (to the title of the video).
Any dummy can figure out the update # they need the refresher to, but its overly complicated when searching for a simple video.

The audio is quiet. I didn't know Ballas created the Warframes, and this is my first time seeing gameplay of the updated intro.
While I absolutely love the idea of doing it thematically, and almost episodically, just some friendly FYI, you got a bunch of thing wrong and/or out of order
The major one: The Void was discovered at the height of the Orokin Empire, and the Tau system on the other side. They weren't experimenting with it then. They started sending Sentients first, and after their success, then considered a colony/generation ship which was the *Zariman* Ten Zero (it was the Zariman, 10.0 was the designation). The void was a cross dimensional rift that they didn't understand prior to the Zariman/Tenno incident, and only then they started their experiments. Also, the warframes were developed specially after transference was discovered and early prototypes of Infested+Elite Soldiers+Sentient Tech didn't work out (It also ties into Umbra) - not just the hosts' death.
The Old War has a lot of bits (or all the bits) to the backstory, including Margulis' betrayal, death, and Natah taking over, which I feel like you just glossed over a bit.
My sources at the time where the forum, the codex, the quests and wiki. A bunch of stuff gets redconned, rewritten or completely removed.
