Sinthan Top is Like Rohtang but BETTER | The Jimny goes to Ladakh via Zojila

- I took the Rebo from Kisthwar to Ladakh this April via the Sinthan Top and Zojila passes. It was a stunning drive made better by the fact that the beautiful roads were totally empty. This is in stark contrast with Manali where such scenic roads will be jam packed with tourist vehicles and would be a nightmare to drive with such traffic.

it is already open.. i think even the OG Leh-Manali road was opened a few days back
@@reboonwheels Yes the road was open from manali to Leh, but there was huge snowfall on 28,29. BRO rescued 35-40 vehicles, so waiting for the road to open without any troubles 😅
@@adventurefinder Ah ok.. yes it snowed 3 inches here in Zanskar last night. So I except many of the passes to be closed for a few days

One more lovely video! Hope you must be taking rest and also giving break to Jimny also in between, pls take care as some time breaks get heated while getting down from these downward slope and doesn’t work when we apply break.
I normally don't take a lot of breaks while driving. Just a short stop here and there for photos. These descente are not really that hard on the brakes, lower gears and engine braking is sufficient. I do know a few roads where the brakes get red hot and will be careful while driving on them.. like the Lingshed road for example

You don't really need maps as there is usually just one road to follow. But if I need help then there is always OsmAnd

They are Oakley Cliffdens.. honestly I'm not a fan. Most of the parts like the nose bridge and the side shields have fallen off and the glasses are also scratched badly. I'll not be buying them again
