I bought 150m of braid today at Go Outdoors store for £9.99. Just using it for lure fishing from the rocks or pier. Most of the braids in my local fishing store are £30 to £40 for same amount. That’s why I mostly use mono for lure fishing as it is so much cheaper. Hopefully I put the braid on correctly, will soon find out and I shall check out some of the braids you recommended here.

Hi Billy, I have had some awesome tackle from Ali express. The FTK line is great, I have various braking strains and use as leader to braid on my lure rods. Also other bargains include lure boxes, Kingdom lures, Supercontinent soft plastics, weighted lure hooks, lure clips, couple of really nice rods and reels. All are excellent quality and just as good if not better than I would pay three times the price for in the UK. There is some junk on there but if you know what to look for you can save a fortune.

Hi Billy! Live on the shores of Lough Derg and have been pike fishing there for nearly 40 years.
