- Today we take a look around Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, Morgan Dr, Brixworth, Northampton NN6 9GZ.
We work out whether the road is private or public and then stand on the pedestrian crossing to get some film of the amazing place.
Security arrive and tell us we cannot film and then a more senior person arrives saying it is their land.
The drone finds something amazing on this one.

The crowd of workers gathering around to look up at a drone reminds me of that film of a documentary crew in a Helicopter filming an undiscovered tribe of a village deep in the jungle, who have no knowledge of the rest of the world, they start throwing spears at the helicopter 😂
A lot of people who appear in auditing videos do seem to have no knowledge about modern life, so you are quite right. Now that image is stuck in my head.

As a German myself (living in the Norfolk Broads at the moment), I am not entirely certain what a "German ego" is. As I watch DJ's videos all the time, I see egotistical behaviour all the time, from many nationalities. I would not say German people have a special kind of ego. Perhaps the French can better assist your enquiries.

16:00 Now that I see the block work, that will be the part of Morgan Drive that is publicly maintained. But you have a valid point. If the Mercedes AMG put the crossing in, then it's their fault that it makes the public think that it's part of the public road and then start using their camera whilst technically on their property. The public won't think it's a private pedestrian crossing as it's councils and the highways who do that kind of road marking. It's like putting double yellows on a private road - it fools the public into thinking it's a public road.

You want to come down to where I live in Essex. International port, oil refinery and a company under the disguise of fuel additives but known locally as missile factory which is on a nature reserve that no one is allowed to see. During the summer, apparently you can visit sealions in the area... that your not allowed to enter... could be interesting areas which I believe no auditors have visited ;)

I don't think the boss man (German chap ?) 'gets' auditing just yet. They showed themselves up to be rather petty over a small area of road. The situation was unusual with the man who struggled with language just kept repeating himself and the masked security guard kept wildly waving his arms. I think I saw an SIA ID badge swinging around his belly. A great 23 minutes of my life well spent. Excellent work as we have come to expect.

20:55 So they can ask someone to leave their property past the line of blocks in the road. But their gate is not at this line. So someone putting one foot one foot over the line and on their property after having been asked to leave is technically trespassing. But it's a civil tort and the damages and compensation that the company could demand off the trespass would be zero. So to demand someone to take their foot off the property is pointless, stupid, a waste of time and just proves they are pedantic tyrants who haven't got a clue. A different matter past the gate since their were the have people working, but before the gate there is no work, so no lawful activity to disrupt (so long as you don't block the road).
I just totally got what your message of auditing done differently means. You are unique because you always seek out a positive interaction or from our viewpoint audit,,you only require that some education is given from either side and that people are as respectful as you,,dj you may well be the best auditor on earth,,these videos were never for entertainment regardless of how many people get entertained by them,,it was always about human rights 1st,, understanding each others true rolls in society and educating the ignorant,and I mean that in its true standing to realise that the true law of the land is here to be observed by all of us and that their particular roles on private land are not as stressful as they think no matter who shows up, unless its a criminal of course and thats not likely to happen because the majority of criminals are unfortunately driving around in police cars trying to find people committing victimless crimes for even more revenue. please someone with power who is really real see this and ditch the badly trained previously bullied officers and give us back the real constables who never disconnected from the people and always loved defending us.

yeah he could get done for that. Most of these guys dont know the law quite as well as they think they do. They are all wrong about GDPR (or the UK equivalent in the data protection act), for example. It does apply to private individuals if they use in commercially, which would include putting anything on a youtube channel. If you fly a drone low enough to be able to identify people, then post it on social media from which you get an income, you are in breach - private individuals included

the cones on Morgan drive are put there by the plant, they are not from the council. the same is at pinewood studios , they put cones to stop people parking on the road.

Actually, you were on their land, but on a crosswalk that is on an EASEMENT that allows the public to cross safely through private property without being accosted by the landowner (in theory).
