You play that heavy weapons get only 1 attack per round? I looked for that rule in Tiny Frontiers but I don't see it. Did they change that in later games?
Yes. That was one of the main changes as of the publication of Tiny Cthulhu. And they have gone in and updated many of the PDFs on Drive thru RPG and their own webstore. Any updated version has the rule.
