I miss Kansas
I feel bad for you on that one sucks to miss Kansas while working regional. But I'm looking forward to Kansas when it comes to ATS.
@@acethedriver2895 I know 😞. Some days I just yearn for Kansas.
Yooo Dave what’s good!
@@RidingWithDave I also love your videos too.
You and Jeff need to collab!!! Either you two play ATS or Jeff does a ride along vlog with you in your truck.
Hey Jeff I’m Kansas City it actually goes into Missouri for a bit. Allows you to drive over the river for a mile or two. Kind of cool to see the entering Missouri sign
As a fellow Missourian, that's awesome.
It's seen in the Kansas gameplay video on the SCS yt channel
I really want Missouri to be added. Go drive by my house. Lmao.
I live in poplar bluf which is on the other side of state
It’s always cool to see more ATS. I hope you’re doing well Jeff, keep up the great work and have a great day. Take care!
U like the new Kansas dlc
The Kansas Turnpike if you pick it up in Wichita and take it all the way to KC it will cost a passenger vehicle about 15 bucks. So I would imagine since they charge by the axle that it would cost 21 bucks for a tractor trailer.
SCS is releasing a farm machinery DLC tomorrow as well
Love it man! You know I love me some Kansas. But, I cannot wait for missouri either.
I’ve watched you for years, and I just got my cdl about a year ago, and I’m from Wichita. And seeing this literally gave me goosebumps I was so happy!
I drive a 2018 KW T680 double bunk sleeper.
How’s it going Jeff?! Great video
90% of the time I have no issues with the ai traffic I just wish there was more of them game feels empty when driving around and has always been my main problem with both games
omg wichita looks amazing 🥹 love my town
About the AI: I'm wondering if maybe an AI rework will come right around or sometime after the engine rework. I can't promise anything since I do not work for SCS, obviously.
I guess we'll have to see in the near future.
you got off easy on the toll. current rate is 35.75 cash 26.60 with the ktag. and fastest trip to Wichita i've ever seen. wish i could get down there in 15 min. and your expression on seeing the wichita airport is the same feeling i got when you pulled into hays.
Completely agree with you the AI. They will think NOTHING about coming to a complete, dead stop to let traffic on the ramps onto the highway.
SCS did the old version of the interchange at I35 and US400. Nice to see Kansas though and how we’re getting more into the Midwest! Kansas is indeed very flat but the Flint Hills (where the cattle pens were) is a very pretty drive.
Great video as always, Jeff! I’ll be getting the DLC tomorrow!
Kellogg is laughably inaccurate
K-96 to 135 instantly, and only 2 lanes? hah
Eisenhower National Airport - using the Seneca exit - hahaha
Not really supposed to be accurate, it is all about the feeling of being in that state. Every DLC has been.
As a class A driver, I can appreciate the attention to detail in this Sims. The Cascadia Freightliner is one of the trucks I drive. And the sounds of the blinkers, aswell as the blind spot monitoring system is spot on. I definitely turn mine off after a while, tho. Lol
I love all the updates coming to the game! Great video
MY FAVORITE TH-camR JEFF FAVIGNNO KEEP ON TRUCKING AND GAMING JEFF FAVIGNNO ROCK STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great video Jeff! Unfortunately when we cruise over the George Washington Bridge ( NJ and NY crossing )we’re over 100 bucks now for a tractor trailer at the toll booth!
I'm excited for it. I have it in my steam wish list. So Friday I'm getting Ok and Ks.
I live in Wichita so this was so fun to watch, especially since I’ve made this exact drive multiple times, and my mom always would say something when we pass the bazaar cattle pens. That was definitely a weird surreal moment to hear you mention them😂
i grew up in wichita and kansas city so i feel u
I enjoy the Volvo's mirror fov an camera handling as well.
I don’t usually care for ATS since I’m a truck driver myself, but I might have to hop on for the Kansas DLC since it’s my state. Pretty cool to see, I didn’t think we would ever get in the game when I was playing this 5 years ago
Jeff, we need a gta 6 reaction!
Hey Jeff I thought seen u drive past my town of El Dorado ks lol
2nd and minute gang
I love your posts keep it up
Great video! Yeah $21 is about right, full ride from Kansas City to Oklahoma State line is 50 bucks.
They modeled that airport perfectly, and where you unloaded those cars is actually the Enterprise shop where they clean and repair all of their rental cars. I’ve towed a lot of rentals in and out of there so it was crazy seeing you drive up to it!
Loving how close they got the airport to look like how it’s laid out in real life! Even the entrance roads and cargo area off to the side are exactly how you see it when you are driving into the airport area!
Definitely love the safety of the trucks with the blind spot monitoring system and adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance system
Kc reppin
I realy miss the flight sim vids Jeff
Tolls are generally based on the number of axles, so CMVs usually pay more
IRL trucker
Good video Jeff. I love your videos and keep up the good work that you do. My dad is a truck driver and when it fully comes out to where you can do mods he works for a company out of Kansas City and it is called ACT/ American Central Transportation and I would love to see a video with that company.
If only you could go from Topeka to KC to Wichita so fast. What takes hours only takes seconds. It is true to life what is shown.
That collision mitigation sounds realistic 😂 I hated that back when I use to drive. The breaks would slam because of bridges
i think the toll prices are pretty accurate for kansas the toll prices on the pa turnpike are based on the weigh of your car/truck
How do you roll down the windows
Usually tolls go based off how many axles a vehicle has so $21 seems realistic
Make sure you drive to Sunnyvale Trailer park and go to the cheese burger picnic😆😆😆 Just don't let OFFICER Jim Lahey open the trailer 😆😆😆
16:26 Yep, Welcome to Kansas where KC to Wichita is $21 on the route you took instead of bypassing Topeka and took 35 down to Emporia (coulda saved ya $15). Driving in Kansas ain't cheap
Hi Jeff. Youve used Thrustmaster belt driven wheel before, with small inputs you can feel the cogs/notchy. With DD is that eliminated in ATS? Thanks :)
Hey Jeff hope you're doing well. I'm not sure if you heard of this game but you should check out Truck and Logistics Simulator. It's a game that's been out on PC for awhile now. They just released it on console a few day's ago and our console trucker prayers have been answered. It's great we finally have a good trucking sim on console.
You can drive all types of cars, vans and semi combinations. You use all types of different equipment to load the vehicle's with. The game plays flawlessly smooth. The physics are great. There's also 24 player multiplayer which also plays amazing.
This game was made by a tiny studio of only 5 devs. The potential for this game is huge. I know how you like to support smaller up and coming games. I really think you'll enjoy this game. Really love your content man 💪🏽.
ATS is one sale till dec 11th, for anyone wanting the game ($5)
So Jeff you mentioned in your twitch stream that you wish they had a original day/night mod.... there is one on Steam workshop called "Actual Day-/Nighttime Mod", also you might be interested in a mod called "fog lights for SCS trucks" also on Steam Workshop.
Jeff favorite game 😊
I just figured out you can’t buy the 5700xe from the dealership anymore💀 you can only buy it from the used truck dealer now
Will be a first day purchase for me, and it according to the announcements there is a new DLC being released along side the Kansas DLC called Farm Machinery. ATS has long been a "shut up and take my money" sim for me for years LOL!
Hello
Hi
That toll is 100% accurate. The turnpike from KC to Wichita is expensive as hell. They charge by the axle.
We're onto the boring states now, and that's not to throw shade at SCS but it's just how it is. Arkansas is next and that'll be somewhat interesting, Hopefully we'll have a spoof JB Hunt building or something
Just realize that your channel has 420,609+ views bruuuhh 😂😂
I love the automatic trucks but I would love you some more of you driving a manual peterbuilt 389 or 379 with the cat engine
The difference is traffic between 2.0 and 2.5 seems a lot. 2.0 just feels not enough. It's as if 2.3 would be almost perfect. It's difficult to get rid of the jams at exits/entrances and long traffic light lines in the cities, but I still like it better than a mod.
cant wait for illinois and missouri if they ever make that a DLC. i can be on ATS listening to 30 hours while driving from chicago to st louis.
PA turnpike we have to pay $10 for one stretch and $10 back the same stretch w/o ez pass.
So $20 Sounds realistic to me at least 16:43
Hey jeff I've recently been playing ATS for a while and its been raining non stop do you know how to fix that?
Jeff Favignano... U are my Favorite TH-camr. So you got me by subscribing in your channel. Thank you for these interesting gameplay videos you have made 😊👍🏾👊🏾🤛🏾🔝🔝🔝.
Thank you and welcome!
@@jfavignanoI hope they add New Jersey in American truck simulator
He went through the 435 I35 K10 triangle, and I drove through that yesterday which is not a feeling I get very often as a Kansan ❤
Crazy I'm on I 35 south at a truck stop resting past Witchta going to Vegas trying to get to I 40 before dark.
I wonder if you’re able to pick up at the ford plant since you got jobs in the Fairfax district.
I just love trucks personally i am more of a fan of the okder trucks but give me a great sounding truck with a diesel and jakes and ill be alright, also jeff if the game wont let you use certain mods how do you get into a old profile after deleting the mods and not having to start over comepletley?
If i may make a suggestiin for a great graphics mod that i feel you will absolutely love Jeff, it is the brutal weather and graphics mod, it is on steam and my goodness dies it do wonders, it even adds the reflections on the ground, it is amazing and i definetely reccommend as it definetely fixes the biggest complaint i have where it does not have the reflections when it rains in base game, plus it really enhances the sky oxes to where they are even more stunning
@jeff favingano i like the way you take your time when driving these simulator games,am actually a truck driver in real life and i drive these simulator games alot too
How do you feel about the new damage system
I like
I hate to say it but that 21 dollar toll is correct. Your toll amount goes off distance and the number of axles your rig has. Both Kansas and Oklahoma are terrible for tolls on semis
hey jeff how were you able to buy john rudas trucks? i can’t buy them because they aren’t in the US, love the ats videos
You should try plumpete fov mirror mod. It’s in the workshop. Bout the best one in my opinion.
I feel like they need to update the entire game at this point and I am confused with their plan to do all 50 states. By the time that is done the game will be so outdated. I really do not want to get to that point buy ATS 2 and have to rebuy all 50 states...
Just wait until Jeff goes to the North East. The toll rates here are a bit wild too. Through NYC and Boston can get you a hefty amount of fare to pay
Yep the 21 dollar toll is what you pay as a driver some states are higher in total cost me 43 dollars to go to Oklahoma to Tulsa and back out to Missouri
For GTA 5, you should do a pursuit with the cops but get away by ditching your cars and going to space
im from Wichita and at 19:50 that is truly just what happens there lmfao, if someone isnt paying attention that right there can cause a build up in traffic for 45 mins
They really need to recalibrate the collision avoidance thing it's annoying you try to overtake then it starts beeping and braking
He always gives us something to watch and never leaves us hanging.
As a truck driver from Kansas and I drive here everyday, it's amazing at how accurate and great everything looks! They did a fantastic job. I wish Chanute was added with the Ash Grove cement plant and Coffeyville was added with Coffeyville Resources fuel refinery!
The highway goes through there even though the town isn't listed there might be landmarks still
they dont got 169 construction lol. coffeyville ai traffic wouldnt be anything close to the real tweaker traffic...lmao we hual down to the port, was thinking of getting kansas and oklahoma but didn't know if oklahoma has the port?
@CarlJohnson-km8zr you're not kidding lol idk tbh. I haven't played the game in about 2 years, I'm an o/o based out of chanute hauling cement. But I'd think they would have the port of catoosa, that's a large industry to not have it
They have galena as a hidden city which is cool
Welcome virtually to my neck of the woods.
I been to Kansas lots of times I been to Kansas City and my mother lives in Sterling a small town it very beautiful
If anyone can help me with this it will help alot. So I bought 2 ats dlcs a dew days ago and I have no idea where to find them so I can install them into the game if anyone can help please let me know
That part of emporia is extremely accurate with the truck stop and rv park.
Hi jeff big fan. You make great videos. Name is don. And I live in Montana
Finally Kansas DLC in American truck sim my favorite
I actually live close by the Eisenhower international airport in Wichita Ks
You need to collab with Dave!!!
My favorite DLC so far. What mod are you using for AI traffic?
I don't see fish eye on the big mirror but the little one is supposed to be. But if you prefer it not to be then somebody better fix there mod Jeff wants better!!
My cat Tilly passed away this evening. I've not been happy since then.
Gotta love the KTA fees lol... that many axles, $21 doesn't seem too far off lol
Last time I drove through Kansas was in 2008, the game looks amazing though. Nothing like the American countryside
Sheesh took them long enough.
Wish they could finish coast to coast in my life time
I live in this state and I don't know why I bought this DLC.
the future for simulation is bright
19:21 Wow they even got the IBA signage on the arena didn't expect that
4:13 sorry I didnt get it, how did you remove major stutters?
I'm going to Wichita
Far from this opera forevermore
We need a GTA VI trailer reaction from you jeff!
Is not working for any one else? It just says some thing went wrong ?
I miss American truck simulator Australian map mod series
Pls do more of Trucking Simulator
Been enjoying Kansas a lot actually. Have had a hard time getting the new loads from the farm equipment DLC to spawn in so I can haul them. The sky boxes look so much better, especially the night sky. Driving at night is actually fun.
The AI traffic does need a few tweaks, though I am one of the people who thinks their level of dumb is pretty realistic. Construction zone slow down to nothing to merge is pretty accurate, dang near a daily occurrence in the real world. I have had a couple AI pass on a double yellow in game and I lost count of how many times that has happened to me in real life. If an AI passed me on the shoulder or used a right or left turn lane to pass me, the AI would truly be equal to real people in their stupid. I have dashcam video of all of the above, as do a lot of drivers. But yes the AI could use some help navigating the world a little smoother, no argument there.
I'm sure you probably get it a lot, but I would love to join you on a convoy and talk trucking. I haul trusses out in Idaho and am usually pulling oversized loads into all the places they don't want you taking a truck into in the first place. I've had to have heavy equipment pick up the trailer to make it around turns or drag the truck forwards and backward because the dirt road into the jobsite is too steep for the truck to make it up to where they want them.
