  • How to bring new life to your home theatre setup?. The flagship sub of the Ti range.. a fantastic addition to my system. And maybe yours too.Tip from Carnage Pool Tricks
    Important to note if you've got a class D amp, don't connect the black wire, tape it off with electricians tape or it can cause a ground loop and damage the sub input and or amplifier.

    Even though I'm running a high performance setup it's only when I moved the couch away from the back wall did my listening experience evolve to the next level and that's regardless of running a stereo pair of rel subwoofers.
    Wicked presentation bro.

    Hej Joe huge fan of your finger clap portion from the Sennheiser Ambeo review ;-) Your review was one of the first about that sounder and by far the most down to earth , honest AND convincing.I wanted to rebuy the Ambeo Sounbar once again - all others didn't satisfy me ( the reduce on size but NO compromise part is so true ). Tell me if you are having the Sennheiser still or at least what your opinion is having a Sennheiser Ambeo AND the Rel T9i together is that a good " pair " in your estimation ? Thanks in Advance for you reply .

    Great Subwoofer ,yes I have had the t9i for just over a year ,the high level input is for 2 channel music and the rca input is for cinema ,personally I don’t bother with the high level ,as you don’t calibrate your system with it .
    Funny but good video ;)

    Greetings from Australia.
    Good review, I really enjoyed it and the way that you presented it. You strike me as a really cool dude.
    I have just purchased a T9i, and am going to run it to add bass in my room which is 7m x 7m.
    I am using this as an audiophile sub woofer with my Cambridge CXA81, and Fyne Audio F502 loudspeakers.
    I would love to hear any thoughts or comments from anyone especially as I intend to purchase a Prima Luna Evo 200 valve amp.

  • @davybloggs1564
    @davybloggs1564 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Phase switch is not to choose between 'loose' or 'tight' response! It's used to integrate the sub correctly into the room, depending on where the sub is placed in the room. Also, what's with the, what looks like, a B&W speaker, above the radiator (?Really?!) right next to your ear??

      how big is your room? how big is your wallet? these are the top of the 'T' line....
      but most of their subs are much more manly than these.
      if your room is _smallish_ , if your wallet is _smallish_ , 2 of these might suit you.

    I'm sorry, but this makes no sense to me and I have two T7s. If you set the sub LFE level to zero on your processor/receiver, then what's the point of having the LFE cable connected? What you really want to do is set up the high frequency connection first, like you say, and then set the front speakers to large, like you say, but THEN run calibration for the LFE connection. So, the high frequency connection effectively extends the range of the L and R main speakers all the time (the point being for music), but you still have the LFE channel activated (for home theater/multichannel). Something was missing in your video if you left the subs on a zero setting for LFE.

  • @1dafirst
    @1dafirst 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Should you set your speakers to large even when they are small bookshelves?

    • @dkkatwa
      @dkkatwa 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes so the sub receives the full signal. But only for the REL with Neutrik connection

    i have marantz sr 6013. You have connected red wire to right channel positive, yellow wire to left channel positive and black wire to negative of either. Is it common to my marantz SR6013 as well?

    • @vivalasexy
      @vivalasexy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't bother using the black cable just tape it off

  • @carnagepooltricks
    @carnagepooltricks 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Important to note if you've got a class D amp, don't connect the black wire, tape it off with electricians tape or it can cause a ground loop and damage the sub input and or amplifier. I made that mistake and although no damage occurred , removing the black wire from all the subs did improve the sound quality. A quick google of your amp should tell you what type of amplification you've got. Here is a article from Rel and a video relsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004486607-Class-D-Amp-Connection-Methods
