Mia carried Rosemary's Baby on her shoulders under trying circumstances with Sinatra serving her divorce papers on set. A magnificent performance. I love this beautiful woman. Thank you Mia for what you said about suffering.
@@edmundstrunkis1886 I used to put it on every night when I went to bed. Then I would wake up to Rosemary screaming "What have you done?" "You maniacs!"
I caught her on TV this evening again in her 1990 film "Alice." Her whimsical Manhattan-based well-off housewife character, wardrobe and personality somehow just reminded me of a little more mature version of the Rosemary Woodhouse character, in a way.
"The Last Unicorn" is an under-appreciated masterpiece. The animation is beautiful and the story is something that I think adults will love more than children I think. Please, go check this film out. It's from 1982, 40 years old now and as of today, it's free on TH-cam. Beautiful film and I think of that film most when I think of Mia Farrow.
Sucks that after the Woody Allen scandal in the early 90's, Mia ended up being blacklisted in Hollywood and no one wanted to hire her. She may not have been the greatest actress in the world, but she's a legend, an icon! Rosemary's Baby, The Great Gatsby, Death on the Nile, John and Mary and pretty much all the films she did with Allen. It would be awesome for someone to offer her a great script and see her on the big screen again, or a great TV movie or miniseries.
Absolutely fascinating stories! And such an obviously caring person and so honest. It’s so sad how they kind of made her out to look crazy during the whole divorce to Woody Allen. How the worm turns, though. .
Some trivia to y'all, mate: Farrow appeared in a 1963 featurette "Age of Curiosity", produced for "Seventeen" magazine. By December 1965, Mia got rid of her long hair and adopted her short one.
Love YOU MIA FARROW.. SCARY MOVIE. BUT Z BEST AND ONLY YOU COULD DO IT. SO SPECIAL LADY. YOUR SON SO PROUD OF HIM.. HONESTY IS REALLY A GIFTED FROM JESUS CHRIST.. LOVE YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE..
She’s an incredible person, a flawless actress, and a great beauty. A few of her kids have rocky relationships with her, but I imagine that’s bound to happen when you have 8 kids, or whatever.
Jane Fonda? Maybe. Jane might've been able to pull it off...maybe. But Robert Redford as "Guy"? I think not. I know that he's a likable person, and he's handsome (or was), and all that...But "Guy Wodehouse---The traitor turned Satanist"?? I don't know the backstory, but my guess is he turned the part down. `Course, I could be wrong. He did play a bad guy in Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid", but, even then, he was a good guy (or anti-hero, if you will). The Character of "Guy" is a seriously despicable individual. I can't even picture him playing that role. And I'm glad he didn't take the part, whatever the reason might've been. John Cassevettes (sp?), as difficult as he might have been for Polanski, was a perfect fit to play "Guy".
I mean he did survive the Holocaust and his mother and wife died, pregnant.. it's horrible but I don't think it excuses him as well... He should have served time in jail because he can distinguish right from wrong he knew it wasn't right. That being said it kinda pisses me off that I can't watch one of his movies without someone trying to teach a moral lesson each time ..you know how many people are in a movie ? I could watch Chinatown because I like Faye Dunaway and list goes on.
If you say you like Rosemary's baby, Chinatown or any other a lot of people agree but some will always say that Roman did this I'm like yeah I know he should have served jail time still it's a good movie and there's other people who worked in it too

There's many good lines in this movie haha, YOU'RE WITCHES
What have you done to its eyes ?
That's not his father's eyes
The emphasis of "maniacs" you can hear and tell from her voice that's all she has left in her poor soul. Best scene of any horror movie.
Mia Farrow is the most underrated actress in films never gives a bad performance
His EYES! What's wrong with his EYES, you MANIACS...
Mia could return to acting!!!
What an intelligent, caring person.
”There are 127 varieties of nuts. Mia’s 116 of them.” - Roman Polanski
Did he say that in his book or somewhere else ?
@@anaseymour4556 It's actually in Mia's autobiography...she seems quite proud of the quote.

Tho she did defend Roman Polanski on something....tho i dont think it was the incident at Jack Nicholson's house....
Her voice is so young, wtf.
Hey!....yeah, an old lady with a youthful voice......

Do you have peter wellers panel
I actually can see Robert Redford in Rosemary's Baby but somehow not at all Jane Fonda!
He made a terrible error in judgement... b-b-but his parents died in the holocaust.
Always the same story smh
