The anti-apartheid activist who could stop the UK’s likely next PM | Andrew Feinstein | UNAPOLOGETIC

  • Andrew Feinstein was born in South Africa in the 1960s, during the era of grand apartheid. He joined the struggle for a free South Africa, and was deployed by Nelson Mandela to serve in South Africa’s democratically elected parliament.
The corruption he saw in the higher echelons of power through arms deals led him to move to the UK, where he subsequently wrote multiple books that investigated corruption in the global arms trade.
Feinstein is a Jew. His mother survived the Gestapo by hiding in a coal cellar for three and a half years. His broad conviction to uphold human dignity and stand against all forms of discrimination was embedded in him through his mum’s nurturing. For this reason he opposes Israel, which he believes is an apartheid state that is much worse than the apartheid he witnessed and benefited from as a white South African.
Feinstein is now running as an independent candidate for his constituency in central London, Holborn and St Pancras, against the Labour Party leader, Keir Starmer.
If he succeeds, Labour may be forced to choose a new leader, who is also heavily tipped to be the UK’s next PM.
In this episode of UNAPOLOGETIC Andrew Feinstein shares his life experiences and tells us why international law and civility are at stake at this present moment.

Andrew Feinstein is one of the most captivating human beings I have listened to. The world would be a far more beautiful place if there were more people like him in this world. Whoever supports this man, keep an eye out for him, protect him. People in power who seek to hold on to their power tend to want to get rid of people like M. Feinstein. Thank you for this interview. This was a pure delight to watch 🙏.

I Truly hope that he wins the vote!! Love his morals & ethics, as well as his understanding of how corruption takes place. He'll not let the warmongering take place ... because he's aware of how it occurs, so will be able to stop it from festering in his govt. Although I've seen his name on the internet, I haven't listened to him speak before. I'm so impressed that it's a shame there aren't a few clones of him. I Truly Hope that he wins & wish him the Very Best of Luck!
On another note, I can't bear looking at or listening to the voice of Kier Starmer for however long he was in parliament!

What UK did in Gaza is shocking and no one is allowed to talk about it:
    1. UK sent 60 military huge transport vehicle to ISISrael since 7th October.
These are c17s and a400 huge vehicles which can carry Chinook helicopter, tanks, and 150 personnel.
    2. UK has been training ISISraeli occupying army in Britain while the genocide has been ongoing. British government is also refusing to show how many ISISraeli military planes were visiting Britain.
    3. USA is using British army base in Cyprus to transfer weapons to ISISrael.

I have really enjoyed this interview/diiscussion, it covered big money, racial prejudice and much more at a very deep level, but I believe that the key issue is fear and trust. It is in the best interests of those selling arms to maintain fear, because when people are in fear, when people hate, they will reach for guns, they will enforce rules upon groups. Israel is the most fearful nation, that is why they have so many checkpoints, so many weapons, and it is why they need America to act as big brother cum bodyguard.
The Palestinians are amazing people, because in the face of all that is happening they do not retaliate, they simply acknowledge that it is the will of Allah. What Israel / Palestine shows the world is ‘trust and fear living side by side’. I believe that Andrew is also a person who recognises this. I hope he is successful against Starmer.

What an interesting and well informed man. I hope we can turn this around but we can never bring the murdered Palestinians back. We also can't bring back those killed on October 7th, whom I also blame the Israel regime for.

I was enthralled right from the very beginning. Andrew Fienstein is so easy to listen to and to understand. I foresee many dirty tricks in play as our would-be PM has nowhere near the integrity of his opponent and will need to do something to lessen Andrew’s appeal.

Let us hope the electorate can see through the dirty tricks campaign. Plus, they will try to split the opposition vote. The "lobby" destroyed Jeremy Corbyn.

I have heard that story about the boy tossing the penny into the backseat of your Mums car. I am Scottish and when I moved to England in 1975 to attend college I was subjected to many racist jokes worse than that. And prior to that whilst being brought up in western Scotland, I was subjected to religious bigotry due to having an Irish Catholic name.
BTW things have not changed that much in the west of Scotland. The Glasgow Rangers football fans sing proudly and loudly at their football games, songs about the Irish potato famine. And their favorite is a song with the lyrics "up to our knees in Fenian (Catholic) blood. Imagine if any group of people in the west were allowed to sing at a football stadium "up to our knees in Jewish blood"

Yes, my dear brothers, my beloved Palestine is the cradle of Christianity and Judaism, and it contains Al-Aqsa, the third holiest place for us Muslims in Palestine. Bethlehem, the cradle of Christ, is a blessed land, and it is the holy land, and it has been our land for tens of thousands of years, and it is the land of the Canaanite Arabs, the original Palestinian people, and they have lived in it since the Islamic conquest in the era. The Umayyad, Abbasid and Ottoman Arabs, Muslims, Christians and Jews are like brothers and neighbors under Palestinian rule to the owners of the land, but the Zionists came and the British occupation brought them to our land as compensation to the Jews for what they did to them Hitler. The question here is that who did the Holocaust, the Germans, why do I, the Palestinian Arab, pay the price? Why not Germany? Why do I, the Muslim, pay the price for crimes? Committed by the Germans and Nazi Europe, fascism is the root of all evil in the world. Our problem is the occupation🔻🙏❤️🇵🇸💚
