Bandai needs to decide on which one they want to keep. I'd rather them be really good at one Dragonball tcg rather than be asleep at the wheel with two games. As of set 4, it seems like the colors are a bit more balanced. Now, it needs more game mechanics in set 5 or the game will fizzle out.
Masters is the better game. It might not be the most beginner friendly. But its most rich of the games. I truly beleive fusion world was designed to be a bridge, not a replacement. Masters is also ontentionally being short printed to appeal to its market
If you do these analysis, people shouldn´t forget about the origin of the issue. We (MASTERS players/collectors) got the reveal of FW being released as a secondary game as THE BIG news for the game and everybody was pissed. Nobody asked for another TCG instead we wanted Bandai to understand that the game was totally fine but we needed adaptations with competitive prices and wanted to get more attention within the original game. Bandai lost a lot of players and collectors the months after the reveal. We are still a hardcore community and we are still heading to regionals but especially for EU, we wad so few events this year because Bandai focused on FW instead. Hope this changes next year. We need more competitive tournaments. FW was doomed for me when it was announced to be released next to the Original game. As for the Masters players: Nobody will jump over to FW because it is way to linear/simple. We play Master because of the complexity
