Thank you for doing this. First of all, sorry for not commenting sooner, in short, life happened. Wintersun was founded by Jari Mäenpää (vocals/white guitar) and keyboards). Wintersun is Jari's own project and he is a perfectionist, so he polishes all the songs to perfection. He only has one lung. Jari contracted tuberculosis during his time in the army and lost his other lung. He has pretty much written and arranged everything except the drums, which are played by Kai Hahto. He is often called a machine or a human metronome because he is so good at what he does. (Kai has her own channel on TH-cam where she teaches drum technique etc.). Equally devastatingly good songs are “Sons of Winter and Stars” and “Loneliness”, which Jari wrote after his father’s death. Wintersun released their Time II album about four months ago, which I think is the best album ever. still a little; Kai Hahto currently plays in Nightwish, as does bassist Jukka Koskinen. Guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari is currently in Megadeth. However, they are all ready to play in Wintersun if needed. (Typo correct)
