Im down for the challenge!
Hope you got even better by now!
I really don't know what you expected from a style called brutalism xd
A path through the park?
XDDD THAT'S GREAT BRO
This has always been one of my favorite styles and finally I know what it's called. Amazing work, very impressive
Thank you!!
JESUS F CHRIST, IT IS NOT BRUTALISM!!!
no idea what makes him think that this is Brutalism
I’d just call it asap rocky berlin rave 80s fashioned mix style. Brutalism is a modernist architecture , not posters. Don’t spread disinformation
@@Niceworkson read the fucking discripishin
It's so joyful to see design process from start to final result. Thanks for sharing!
Great tutorial, really helpful. One tip is you can set up your guides like this in guide layout, much quicker than creating a square and more accurate.
совсем недавно увидел подобный постер, стиль прям понравился, но не искал даже, а ютуб неожиданно рекомендует это. автору огромное спасибо, потому что хотел попробовать что-то подобное, но как обычно отложил на потом. теперь пути назад нет)))
So that's how you do a paper-like text texture on any graphic! Thank you! U gain a new sub!
You're welcome and thanks for watching :)
this is pure art, thank you a lot for sharing
STMPD style cover art. Loved it!!
Thanks brother!
Learned a lot of new tricks from this. Thank you
Glad it helped you!
Incredible work, I love it
Thanks a lot 🙏🏼🙏🏼
that video is so clean and confortable to watch

Nice workflow, thank you for sharing !
Thanks for sharing. The music was really nice too
You're welcome!
I learned a lot, thanks!!
thanks for the inspo! my final project is in the way
Some creative work, nice!
Oh wow, never thought to align a ruler that way, with a goddamn shape! das smart, thx.
Thanks 🙏🏼🙏🏼, you'll get so many ideas when you're deep on a project.
Love this! I'm very new to Photoshop (literally just trying to learn how to make cool show flyers for my band lol) and I'm curious in the beginning why you create the corner squares for lining things up instead of just creating a guide layout?
You are legend❤
This is some awesome content
my hero
Wow! you're so talented
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
your posters are really impressive 🙌and i like su much your style, i'm looking for a brutalism inspired FREE icon vector pack, do you know where I could find it?
for the next design you could explain a little bit about it
thank you for the tutorials! can i request to make a similar design like this but using only photoshop??
Sure, i'll do one in photoshop.
place image above shape layer and add clipping mask to image to take shape - curved box
Very nice tutorial but not beginner friendly
that's awesome
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
mind blowing. period.
oh that looks so cool! do you know what this style of design is called?
Nice work
Thank you!!

What do you look up to find photos like that?
Amazing
Thank you!
ESTO ES GENIAL
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
really helpfull....
Muito bom
Thanks 🙏
what are the pictures called that you used? appreciate the tutorial
Hola increíble trabajo, cual es el nombre de la fuente?
What are you doing at 11.58 at the end of using illustrator?
YOU ROCK!!!
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Nice job and cool playlist, could you share the list songs?
It's a playlist by lakey inspired he's on TH-cam & SoundCloud
Dude, can u get me a link for your fonts?
how do i call these type of shapes used in the beginning of the project?
how did you make these guide lines????
would have loved some explanation and why and how ur doing things as you go. I got very confused at the threshold parts. I cant get my blacks to looks black, they look super grey after thresholds
It's because you are working in CMYK. Had the same problem, just switch to rgb-colors and your background stays black:)
How did you automatically change the Color from the Text to white? It looked like you had a short cut…
can you please voiceover ur vids or add text to show what keys ur using?
Man I'm trying to follow this and am stuck at step 1. How are you able to have snap lines when drawing rectangles onto a blank canvas?
What do these figures mean? BCR. stars, 333?Why did you use them in this poster?
These are just supporting elements for the composition, to create contrast & variety in typography.
thanks man, but when i've crystalyzed my text, I couldn't see a difference on the edges, but only on the inside...it didn't crystallize like yours (I had to do it manually through the filter gallery)...you know why? thanks again
Hey thanks for watching! what you can do is, to merge the element you're trying to apply the effect to with a black background before applying the effect. for exp, create a text > make it white > create a black bg > merge the two and apply the crystalize effect or create a text layer ( color white ) > add a black stroke> convert to a smart object > crystalize. Hope this helps
Beautiful design, the music didn't have to go that hard tho 😅
How did you change the color in 1click? i tried it but didn't work. Thanks
I have the same problem... I don't understand how he changed the background and text color
Is it possible to do this or this kind of design on photopea? anyone knows?
not sure how you inverted the colors after changing the background,
I want a t-shirt with this print
Hi! How did you convert the 'fight text' into the white color?
I think he did Ctrl+click on the layer that had all the text and stuff and filled it with white by doing Ctrl+Backspace.
PLEASE DO A VIDEO EXPLAINING
Hello. can you please explain what you did at 16:50, I'm stuck at this moment..
Hi i love your vids. I love designing but i came to dislike how i always had to use templates instead of making my own thing. What are some tips you can give to help with the basics of poster designing? Anything that you find yourself doing constantly in each design you make?
i think once you've found that dissatisifaction, it's sort of an indiciation that you're ready to start exploring outside of the nest - you've developed enough skills, and feel confident enough to *want* to do more, but aren't at the point where you can confidently make anything on your own... from there, you just need to try. apply the fundamentals and basics first, and slowly build up a few original pieces. you'll learn a lot by just making things on your own, and eventually, you'll be able to make your own stuff more confidently and at higher qualities :D
the most important thing is to just continue learning and practising
@@sweetdreamss Thanks i love your advice. But i would like to know what exactly are the basics when it comes to desinging in your opinion?
@@togood4u791 I would recommend looking at videos on composition and typography. You want to gain knowledge on the layout of posters; what makes them look good or bad.
What did you do at 16:53 to invert the colors?
ctrl + i
THATS WHAT ITS CALLED
Yup!!
how do you add the threshhold to all of the layers without affecting the background layer? because of the threshold it turns my background kind of grey
you can see it's affecting all his layers too, but because he's working on a white background already, it didn't mess it up.. pretty sure threshold should just give you a 2 color result though, so if it looks grey, maybe it's just white/black dithering when you zoom in. hard to say without seeing what you're doing. In gimp you could just enable all the layers you want to apply the threshold, disable the others, click 'make new layer from visible' and apply the threshold to that new layer.. would work essentially the same in photoshop I guess, but I think photoshop also has layer groups, so you could probably group the desired layers.
It's because you are working in CMYK. Had the same problem, just switch to rgb-colors and your background stays black:)
how are you just grabbing those icons and pasting them???
my cursor not showing snap detail like "path" or something like that
how did you create the texture at the end
yeah he skipped that step...
where can i find those elements
I've put links in the description
ohh so that's what is called 😃
Yup! It also has a little bit of acid influence imo.
15:57 someone tells me what this effect?
Can someone explain how he changed the text color?!!! 😩
nice never new its called brutalism lo
saan niyo po nilalagay itong design na ito? pinapatanong po ng katabi ko. tnx
1:25 - 1:35 can anyone pls teach me how to do this how can u copy that easy
How do you get the Guassian blur to not actually blur the text and icons at 17:50 and instead create that blendy overblown affect?
Same question
You gotta merge it with the black background layer after blurring and THEN do threshold then pixelate > crystalize. @@harshitrao7557
Just a little bit cult lol nice one
what canvas size did you use
A 3000x3000 canvas
pixel or cm ??@@Kozmikdesign
You know you can set up guides by typing 10% and 90% or something like that, even pt, why use square?? AI issues from 2001... Also this is not a tutorial it a video showing process of making it. Result is amazing and that's it!
Does anyone know how to do that with the arrow on the minute 15:14?
put your mouse in the middle of the 2 layers, hold ctrl and the arrow will appear, only then you click.
Hover between the two layers holding the Alt button and click to create a clipping mask
Hi, how did you do the thing at minute 16:54 after changing the colors. An icon appears that looks like the Patch but when you use it all the text appears in white. I have not been able to finish my design because of this, I hope you can help me. Very nice video. :)
alt + delete = foreround color, crtl + delete = background color.
you press d, fgcolor is black, bgcolor is white.
layer 0 = alt delete and layer 1 = ctrl delete. and then you can see that icon on layer1 image box to ctrl what you said
i think when he pressed ctrl + delete on layer1, that icon show us..hh
did you find it out????
@@user-mr7ou4he4u mate can you be more clear please
@@cactus_wiz If you look at the toolbar next to it, it changes the foreground color from brown to black. In that state, if you press the layer and Alt Delete, it changes to that color. If you hold down the control key and click on the layer image in the layer, all objects in the layer are selected. And if you press the control delete key on the selected objects this time, the objects change to white, the background color. Comment if you cant!
@@user-mr7ou4he4u man, i did it, thank you the help, respect.❤️
Where the brutalism assests from plz
iF YOU COULD NARRATE THE STEPS IT WOULD EXTREMELY USEFUL FOR A NOOB LIKE ME.
hello bro where did you get the vectors?
Hey bro! It's a vector pack i sell on my gumroad profile.
why is the tool bar and everything blurry
print stain created by Blur + Levels + Pixelate

did you find the answer. Please explain @kozmik
What's the music name and genre ?
how did you get that grid to pop in at 12:10?
CTRL + ' or View -> Show -> Grid
1:27 Where can i find those symbols? What do they mean?
You can find them in my gumroad profile, these are basically vector elements that u can use to add more visual interest and style to your work
hi, can someone tell me how does he make the text bigger with the mouse cursor in min 1:07?
It's a shortcut actually, to do it, select the text as if you're going to type smthg then Ctrl + shift + < or >
@@Kozmikdesign Thanks broo
@@Kozmikdesign how can I change the value of the kerning shortcut key to 20 instead of the standard 100?
How to create those icon man
You don't have to create them I already done it for you
lemme trying to learn this using GIMP 💀💀💀💀
hi cool work but it cant be called a tutorial if u dont explain what ur doing bro
This is adobe illustrator?
Yeah Adobe illustrator and Photoshop
How u switch the colors on 16:57?
Just press Ctrl+i and that will do it
@@Kozmikdesign it didnt work, what did u press at 15:57
First I made a rectangle as a clipping mask and then I created a threshold effect
@@Kozmikdesign yes but what is the little thing that you clicked at the bottom to pull up threshold menu called? i cant find it in my illustrator
I'm working in Photoshop
how to copy symbols
what's that app?
what's the shortcut at 15:30?
