    It's all good. Love watching your painting developing over time and technic.

    I really enjoyed them all. I think my favorite is the drips, it seems more random where they go, probably because I allow them to be. ❤

    I don't know how to pick just one favorite technique because I love variety and I think they're all fun. The best part about them is how interesting it is when you put them all together.

    I like the dry brushing- I have never done that.

    I also like to use the non-brush end of the paint brush to scratch off paint for just mark making or scratching in power words. This can be really effective when you have a dry layer beneath and wet layer on top with opposing values.

    Love these tips.
    As for my under painting, I love to start with writing down my intention, releasing unhealthy thoughts, then, add in the positives, create texture, and follow where my brush is guiding me to paint. It’s magical. ❤

    I use drips all the time with paint or ink. I also splatter and use spray paint sections. I also use a spray bottle of water to start the drips.

    I love the dry brush idea! Thanks for the tips.
    Another fun method is writing legible or illegible thoughts, feelings, goals, quotes, favourite people, etc.
    Also, blind contour would be fun to work with.

    This was very informative. I always struggle with a focal point and I think I’m putting to much pressure on myself and always end up adding a leaf or something. Any suggestions?

    • @mbodiedartstudio9551
      @mbodiedartstudio9551  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, my suggestion is: after you've worked on the painting for awhile and you think you need to add something...try putting it away for several days where you can't see it. Then come back to it with fresh eyes and decide if it still needs something.
