Theme song when you head out should be convoy lol it would be perfect lol !!! Awesome line of Ole iron rolling coal shifting gears and making memories awesome times awesome family Awesome friends brother !!! It's awesome !!! Would enjoy being there being a part of it brother
Steve ! Somehow I missed this one. Glad I found it cause this is one of my favorites of yours. So much of your equipment running in one vid. Mate you have a great toy collection ! Cheers 👊😎👍
@@stevesplacedownunder Wish I could've been there to help 🤭 p.s. I'm trying to find pics or vids on that Orange 66 Dodge 3 ton you caught at the show . I'd never seen one. Well that's because here in the states that was the era of the Dog Dish headlight front ends. Those most be Ausie only.
That old Oliver definitely has some chubby rubber on the back. Ideal for working up the soft ground! Would love to see you get that old Farmall that you drug home a little while back up and running again. Once you finish the paint on that Ford, she’s gonna really look good!
It wouldn't be the first time something was changed to something else, from watercart to prime mover, normally its a prime mover into a tipper, but the paint job on this one is pretty bloody cool
G'day Steve, Its great to see all the kit being mustered ready for the show. They all seem to take pride of place , keen to be loaded up and do there duty . Be a treat to see them all lined up with there old mates at the show. Respect...!
Hope the show went great, Steve. Nobody could accuse you of not putting in a tremendous effort to get some interesting old equipment to the show. Love the trucks, love the old gear you loaded. All the very best, Mart in England.
Thank you Mart. It was okay mate. Could have been better but it was our first. It got me to finish of my trucks though. Thanks for the nice comment mate. All the best from Sydney
Its cool to see you all in warm weather, ill live vicariously through you,as i like up in the mountains of British Columbia Canada, winter is is cold. So I'll turn up the heat and watch your videos 😊
Leave your job and be free to give your fan's what they want - you will do good if you go for it - all or the other thing - bring the kids in - family show - don't give up GOOD ONYA MATE
Hi mate. I would absolutely love to but doesn’t pay near as much as my job yet. It is the plan but not there just yet. I want to get it to a stage where it will support me so I can spend some time with dad doing a few up when he retires
Yeah Steve off to the show! Early in this video was thinking you could do with a dirt loading ramp and 2 mins later the Oliver walks up one, don't remember seeing the second crane before and that white sounding so sweet topping up it's air tanks, have fun mate you've earnt it
Hi John. Yes mate the ramp was the first thing I built when I bought my place so I could bring everything in. I didn’t have a float trailer then. There’s a video on both of those cranes and getting them going. The second one I loaded had sat for 50 years uncovered. It was a series of good videos I put out but as usual they maxed out around 3-5k views
He’ll Steve, if all that equipment could talk there would be some tall tales amongst them mate, you have got a huge collection of Australian history lined up there, small business, dreams and sadness and yet the machinery lives on thanks to passionate guys like you. Well done mate, most enjoyable vlog and I hope the show went well and you were well patronised. Cheers mate
Hi Gordon thank you mate. Yes I’d love to listen to them all talk. I don’t know the history of most of them. Just stuff I’ve gathered over the years. Thanks as always Gordon
Way to go Steve, What a day 4 you lot, a 30 min vid has taken me 45mins to watch, because i had to replay every time ya started or drove a GM sweet music, Your display will look awesome parked side by side 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Old Steve from Chicago, very impressed with your arsenal of old equipment. All the trucks are starting to shape up. Louisville looks good. Don’t forget to have a couple cold ones that is beer here beer is the nectar of the gods.
Don't get me wrong great content love seeing all the old trucks and machinery and love what you did with putting the Toyota motor in the grader I have one with the same problem
Wow what a great collection of oddball bits and bobs, love that baby grader sounds as sweet as a nut!! Enjoy the show ,you sure put in the effort! Cheers Mal.
On my wife’s phone right now, mine decided to take a swim. Great video. Looks like you had quite a crew helping, wish I could have been one of them. In Florida right now and waiting to get home before buying a new phone, talk to you when I do. Here we would have to put regular registration and insurance on the trucks so it would cost prohibitive for me to put a few on the road. At any rate the videos are well appreciated and G’day mate.
It's great hearing all the old legends running, they're a credit to you and the SPDU Crew.🍻 Cheer up about the Louisville, it looks more presentable the the truck out of Duel, if less intimidating. 😜😄
A Great effort Steve and to you team of helpers, the trucks all look just the part sometimes a real working truck showing a bit of its age can look better than a old truck trying to look a show pony. You say that the 8 wheeler is a bit of a rare beast buy here in good old New Zealand The 8 wheeler and 3 axle trailer were the back bone of trucking for many years. In fact 8 wheeler and 5 axle 50t combination unit are still a popular set up. I hope the show goes well for you. Keep the video coming mate the channel will grow if you keep doing interesting rebuilds. Cheers Paul C
Hi mate thank you. It’s a rare one because a lot of the old Kenworth twin steers have vanished. But the configuration itself is very much alive and we’re a big part of trucks here in Australia, even now an even bigger part, more ten wheeler trucks now then eight but still a lot around mate
I honestly didn't think the transtar drove. Great to see I was wrong. Great looking truck it is. The awesome louie should stay a semi. Looks good that way.
Hi Matty thank you mate. I’m not sure when the next big one is. We will probably haul the Hume next year and go as far as gunning mate. That’s a good run
Looked like a bit of chassis flex happening just behind the cab on the loiville so can't spell reel well may need extra channel if you keep as a prime mover 😅
We hope you all enjoy this video of us loading our antique tucks with antique equipment. Was a massive hard day that we’ve captured in a short video.
Good Job Partner🥃🥃🍻
Awesome morning brother from another country down under !!!! Say hi to everyone for me
Theme song when you head out should be convoy lol it would be perfect lol !!! Awesome line of Ole iron rolling coal shifting gears and making memories awesome times awesome family Awesome friends brother !!! It's awesome !!! Would enjoy being there being a part of it brother
Thanks Steve, that 903 and the old Detroits are the sights and sounds of my childhood memories. Keep up the great work bloke.
Hi mate glad you liked it. Yes they certainly are sounds of the past
Can't go wrong with a Louisville with twin stacks, a 903 and a fresh lick of paint.
No mate I love those little original stacks. She’s a bit rough but still got a lot of attention
Steve ! Somehow I missed this one. Glad I found it cause this is one of my favorites of yours. So much of your equipment running in one vid. Mate you have a great toy collection ! Cheers 👊😎👍
Yes mate this is a good one. I wish more people watched it.
@ I had one with a 318 in it. It’s still at a place up the road. They were very popular here. International c-d line shared the same cab
Very interesting to watch thankyou Steve.
My pleasure mate thanks for watching
This is when all the hard work pays off Steve gotta be happy with a convoy like that heading to a show
Hi mate yes I certainly was happy with it all
Got a wonderful collection of vintage tractors and trucks steve
Hi Danny thank you mate. I’m happy with them
A really impressive lineup. Congrats to all involved.
Thank you Jimmy
That old Oliver definitely has some chubby rubber on the back. Ideal for working up the soft ground! Would love to see you get that old Farmall that you drug home a little while back up and running again. Once you finish the paint on that Ford, she’s gonna really look good!
Hi mate. Yes the Oliver is a decent big old girl. The Farmall I brought home must be the OS6 I think? Yes I sure will
Best of both worlds, tractors and trucks. Thanks Steve.😊
Thank you James
hi Steve and family hop you have a great time at the show all that hard work time for some cold ones
Hi John yes mate it was good. A few more vehicles would have been nice but I certainly tried mate.
Hey Steve the fleet is coming a treat enjoy the show cheers 🍺👍👍
Thank you Glenn🙏
Reminds me a lot of everyone getting ready for the heyfield
That’s what it looks like mate
It wouldn't be the first time something was changed to something else, from watercart to prime mover, normally its a prime mover into a tipper, but the paint job on this one is pretty bloody cool
Hi mate no it’s very common in the truck world
A varied line up for the show, I hope the trip all went well. Thanks for sharing mate
Yeah mate sure is. The show was only in the next town about 7 kms maybe up the road. Good first run for the Kenworth
@ ah nice and close, makes things a bit easier
That’s awesome Steve, great video 👍🏻🇦🇺
Thank you David. Hope you are well mate
G'day Steve,

Hope the show went great, Steve. Nobody could accuse you of not putting in a tremendous effort to get some interesting old equipment to the show. Love the trucks, love the old gear you loaded. All the very best, Mart in England.
Thank you Mart. It was okay mate. Could have been better but it was our first. It got me to finish of my trucks though. Thanks for the nice comment mate. All the best from Sydney
The hill detector looks great with the 2 Chamberlains behind it. All the trucks looked great.
Thank you Neil. They sure did
Happy Days.
Hi mate
Great looking load of stuff. I think the Ford looks fantastic. The orange suits it. Hope the show goes or went well. Have a good week. Marc
Hi Marc thank you mate🙏
Its cool to see you all in warm weather, ill live vicariously through you,as i like up in the mountains of British Columbia Canada, winter is is cold. So I'll turn up the heat and watch your videos 😊
Hi mate try and stay warm. I’d love to visit over there some day. Thanks for watching and yes certainly warmer here now
Love the roer of those ole detroits brings back fond memories oh yea !!!!!!
Roar lol not roer lol 😂
They all roar mate except tor the 8 wheeler. She’s a bit mellow that one. Nice really
@stevesplacedownunder yes lol they are awesome brother love watching you fire them up and roll coal lol 😆 how was the show
Steve's convoy is on a roll. Thank you mate and have a fantastic trip and show cobber with all your mates and friends🤠.

ha look at the smile on your face driving the oliver back up the drive
We tried for ages to get it going. I was relieved I think

Hi mate. I would absolutely love to but doesn’t pay near as much as my job yet. It is the plan but not there just yet. I want to get it to a stage where it will support me so I can spend some time with dad doing a few up when he retires
The mudflaps look good
Bit of a unique look in the Louisville with the different doors 😁
Yes but that all I had and it gets it on the road. Can only see one side at a time
I can’t get myself ready for a show let alone that much stuff😂 you’ve done a good job mate👌🏻
Thank you mate. I work better with a deadline. Set one and go like mad. The only way I would have ever done the 8 wheeler
Yeah Steve off to the show! Early in this video was thinking you could do with a dirt loading ramp and 2 mins later the Oliver walks up one, don't remember seeing the second crane before and that white sounding so sweet topping up it's air tanks, have fun mate you've earnt it

Thank you mate. Yes she’s a good one. All the best from Sydney Australia

Hi mate no problem. Enjoy your time in Florida. Talk when you get back
A lot of work for a hopefully successful show mate
It was mate but regardless of how the show went, the trucks finished
It's great hearing all the old legends running, they're a credit to you and the SPDU Crew.🍻
Cheer up about the Louisville, it looks more presentable the the truck out of Duel, if less intimidating. 😜😄
Big day mate. A hell of a lot of work. Yeah she came up good for the 2 days I spent on it
hello from Canada again, kool old iron. mate
Hello mate thank you🙏

Yes the transtar drives. No brakes though and needs a tune
I like that transtar lots very cool truck

Hi Matty thank you mate. I’m not sure when the next big one is. We will probably haul the Hume next year and go as far as gunning mate. That’s a good run
Mate, you could host your own truck, tractor and equipment show. 😂
Yes I was told that we should of had it at my place🤣🤣
That's not a old Nolan's G88 in the background is it Mate.
Yes mate it is a G89 of theirs
I know someone that has been looking for similar vintage Leyland or AEC
Looked like a bit of chassis flex happening just behind the cab on the loiville so can't spell reel well may need extra channel if you keep as a prime mover 😅
🤦🏻♂️that’s what you got from all it took to put this episode together? Nothing nice to say about it?
Damn shame i couldn't make the show.
It is mate yes
Mate she is a working truck not a show truck, she is suppose to look that way.
That’s exactly right mate
